Having stayed here many times before it was good to be back. Interestingly the front steps to the park are now walled off with plant pots so it’s difficult to get to it - Possibly keeping out folk randomly visiting the hotel. Welcome voucher for drink a good touch but limited to Beer or cava. A nicer touch would be any drink.

Breakfast was not up to par. Service at it was slow, lack of variety, and a lot of plates left half empty in service area of food (ie not filled regularly). For moment spent breakfast needs updated now to match other big hotels. Also the trees in park are now growing obscuring the hotel room views of sea / city. Needs cut as takes away a big feature to stay here.

Excellent location nestled in beautiful gardens with a spectacular view of the city. Perfect to enjoy some quiet and a peaceful break from the city center. Great staff throughout. Highly recommended hotel restaurant (Studio), we particularly liked the tasting menu at dinner.

Could use some updating throughout, particularly the Spa, which was dark and unwelcoming. The bathroom design in our deluxe room offered no privacy. The toilet area just had a glass swinging door with no frame, and the rest of the bath area was completely open to the bed area with a large tub sitting in the middle and large enclosed shower. Beautiful large marble shower, however, shower floor consisted of large marble slabs floating on top of drainage which smelled musty because the water was stagnant underneath (smelled like mold/algae) and apparently has not been cleaned in a while. There was some work in progress with nail guns being used by workers that sounded like constant shooting.

I LOVED the fact that the hotel was away from the touristy hustle of Barcelona and the views were fabulous. The environment was relaxing and idyllic and I truly enjoyed the outdoor pool

The floor of the pool needs an automatic daily cleaner moving around- was very dirty. ( I used the lap portion every day) . Some doorknobs and such were not working, wood was scuffed and the details looked like they could use updating but that was clearly overcome by the design and location of the hotel and the size of rooms being very generous. the spa could use updating as well including steam rooms and jacuzzi

Stunning location looking over the city. Easy access to the Hop On bus tour. Nice bar area outside.

The image of the room when booked was not what we got. They did move us but it still was not the view we had seen when booking which was the city. Felt it was too expensive. The shower was not clean.

Cockroach in our room on the first night. Outside ares of hotel need some updating. Location is right on top of a big hill so keep this in mind if going to see the city.

The hotel was beautiful and all of the staff were so lovely and professional. The facilities were great, we had a massage at the spa which was amazing.

Wish the outdoor pool was slightly cleaner!

Bar staff (main Bar and pool bar) were friendly but understaffed-we used each bar once and both times we had to go back 3 times over a 20 min period to ask if the drinks were coming.

We loved the surrounding space, rooms are great, nice gardens,nice pool, friendly staff, food, location, and overall vibe. It's a great looking hotel, you can forget you are close to the city centre which is rare in city hotels. It just has a few minor things that didn't work for me and probably other guests that could be cheaply and easily fixed.

Gluten free bread was an awful lump of hard wood for which I had to wait ages at breakfast although I enquired about this before arriving so there was no surprise it will be needed. Gym is so badly maintained. It's OK but one treadmill dost work, half of dumbells is missing so heaviest is 5kg or so, and the only weight machine is half broken, also there was a lack of towels and water there. Just few more large dumbells and some maintenance and it would be a decent hotel gym. Also tv-phone netflix/ u tube streaming is pretty much standard now in most hotels but sadly not here,
