Room was very clean and nicely sized, cute and functional kitchenette including basic cooking needs, silverware, s&p, sugar etc. Spotless linens, soft towels. Friendly and fast front desk check in/out. Whole place seemed very clean and nice. Would definitely stay again

It was nice that there's a little "store", but it's not well stocked. Complimentary coffee is offered in the morning but it's not good, nor was there a milk/cream option. Just some non-dairy, powdered stuff that was awful. Also there is a train track very close to the building. Not a deal breaker but it is a bit loud

The staff at this location is always friendly and helpful. We have stayed here 7 times in the last 2 years and will continue to stay here when we travel to New York. The suite is very comfortable and is stocked with all our needs for an extended stay.

I would only have two recommendations to improve the comfort of the room for me, I would replace some of the suite bedrooms with a king bed rather than a queen and the toilets could be higher or chair heights. Everything else is awesome and if something is missing or needed in the room the staff is quick to provide it.

Excellent location, very reseanobly priced, and the staff go out of their way to be helpful. The room has a quasi-full kitchen--Two electric cook tops, small coffee maker, microwave, toaster, and a full-sized refrigerator. Complimentary laundry facilities and a 24-hour gym.

It is an older hotel that has not been recently extensively refurbished. You will need to cook or go out to eat as there are no restaurants on-site. It seems more like a college dormitory than a 4-star hotel, but I liked that communal feel.

The laundry room/ workout area could use better ventilation. Doesn’t smell bad. It’s just very fragrant from the laundry soap and dryer sheets. So if you’re sensitive to smells then it could be a discouraging factor to not use their workout facilities. That’s my only complaint. Oh and I wish they sold microwave popcorn in the little store. But that’s more my fault for not thinking ahead and buying some at the store lol.

-Very quite and safe area with greenery -well equipped suites, the kitchenette includes dish washer, microwave, cups, plates, forks, ect... -top friendly reception staff especially ashly and sarah (we really felt like home, taking very good care of us) -free laundery, gym, free coffee are all a big plus -being beside Costco is a huge advantage -10 minutes walk from target, bingo, ihop, carter's, -6 minutes driving /taxi to train station, and few minutes walk from rockland bus station -we had a problem with the dish washer and they responded really fast by buying a new one! -wifi has strong coverage and stable -very good place for long stays in comparison to other places and with a good price -nice area with 2 grills to enjoy for free -pets friendly for people who cares and at the same time, it's really clean. - computer at the lobby with a printer if you need to finish a quick job

-housekeeping would be perfect if to be every 3 or 4 days instead of once weekly. -housekeeping staff needs some discipline (talking to each other in high voices, knocking the doors aggressively on your housekeeping day, and don't wait and open the door by the master key and this happened twice to us. -only small slot of the window can be opened to allow fresh air -wish if there was a filter anywhere to fill drinkable water from instead of buying from costco

I decided to book Simply Sonesta based on other reviews and it was exactly and more that what I expected for the price it exceeded its value for my stay there is plenty of shopping restaurants etc in immediate area close to highways yet off the main road the room is as a suite with mini kitchen full refrigerator comfy recliner a mini studio apartment and very clean friendly staff I would definitely stay again and highly recommend and the price was excellent

Great sized room with fully equipped kitchen made this stay a delight, lots of free parking available and only a 10 minute drive to range of restaurants, shops and bars (there are very few within walking distance). Access to free washing machines and tumble dryers was a great plus with a small shop on site to supply essential items you may need.

Was a little way away from restaurant etc which meant you had to drive or use Uber/taxi but other than that I would certainly recommend staying here, remember that you will have to pay a 300 dollar security deposit on your room.

Right off the highway. Exceptionally clean room, comfortable, quiet. Despite the train tracks nearby, we never heard anything. Staff was consistently helpful and friendly. Great value for the price!

This is a minor nit - arriving late, there was a sign on the reception desk to "pick up the phone on the table". Took me a minute to realize the phone in question was on a tiny coffee table in the back corner of the reception area (late at night, remember :-). After that, everything went smoothly.

beds were comfortable. laundromat was a good option.

the toilet flooding during our stay. called help desk and they offered a plunger and towels. we had to clear toilet ourselves. we used the towels to dry the bathroom floor and we wanted it mopped the next morning. staff came but as the bathroom was occupied, they merely cleaning kitchen and left. as this was near the end of our stay, we decided to not complain.

Room was nicely appointed, quiet and had a comfortable bed. Most of the staff was very helpful, warm and friendly. I especially want to complement Ashley who went out of her way to supply us with an extra blanket and brought ice directly to our room with out being asked.

Very snarky person at reception when we arrived. Paid no attention to us. Just continued what she was doing. I suspect she was tallying daily receipts. Since she was the only one there we thought she was the desk clerk. Even if that was not her job she should have acknowledged us and indicated that a clerk would come soon to check us into our room. The bathroom was not thoroughly clean. The hinges on the toilet seat were dirty. There were some shelves in the corner of the bathroom for toiletries etc. They were small and located on the side opposite the sink. Not convenient. I suspect it had something to do with the room being handicapped accessible ( we did ask for a handicapped accessible room)
