We arrived really late, after midnight, but were welcomed by the girl at the front desk. She was very accommodating with making sure the Rewards Points were posted to my BW account, as I had reserved the room with booking.com. Since we only needed the room for the one night, it was a pleasant stay. Everything was extremely clean, bed was comfortable, and it was a quiet, peaceful night. Location was easy to get to exiting the highway, but it was a bit more challenging when leaving the parking lot...

The bathroom was a little cramped, with only a walk-in shower (no bathtub), but it was sufficient. Guess we are a bit spoiled with most bathrooms having a lot more space (towel bars, clothes hook, etc.). It was a "one person" bathroom. LOL When leaving the parking lot, we were needing to head North instead of entering the highway, which required turning right on to a side road. The GPS was probably the problem, nothing the hotel was at fault with. We ended up being navigated to a dirt road! It was quite an adventure, to say the least. I didn't pay attention to if there was an easy entry onto I-20, since we were going a different direction.

arrived at 5:15 to register. Girl at front desk immediately expressed a superior attitude telling me I could not pay cash for the room and there would be an extra $50 for pet and smoking deposit. we were in a non smoking room and did NOT have a pet. She refused to except cash for the room and required me to use card for deposit. it was confusing and frustrating and her voice was filled with attitude and disrespect. will not stay here again. She informed me my card could be held for up to 3 days. There was NOTHING ON WEB THAT PREPARED ME FOR THIS.

I've stayed in 5 Texas/Arkansas Best Westerns in recent weeks, and this one (the oldest building of them) along with the Texarkana location, are spot-on examples of what Best Western should strive for. The Remodel looks great, it is very clean, all of the staff members were very competent at their jobs and super friendly. These spacious guest rooms with the 2 queen beds and the huge tv had everything I needed - including non-skimpy towel service. Best Western - have these guys show Longview and Wills Point how it's done.

I found only one criticism - the floor lamp has a foot switch, and it was not on the floor. - it was bundled up with the cord. lol thats it

Great location. My whole family enjoyed the included breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee, biscuits and gravy, waffles, hot oatmeal, cold cereal, muffins, and more. Great way to start the day!

The key didn’t work the first time around. Not fun to drive 16 hours, gather all of our luggage, and get up to our room only to find that the key wouldn’t work.

This was a last minute change from across the street at the baymont - which was a nightmare!!!! The staff that checked us in last minute was great and super friendly.

Everything was to standard. There was nothing specific that stood out. The pool could have been a bit cleaner, but for this location was well suited.

Room was very clean - the toilet and shower was bright, lots of towels and good water pressure. Bed was clean and comfortable. LOTS of space in the room, quiet, and dark. Microwave, kettle, coffee and tea, and all toilet amenities complete.

Soap and shampoo provided was just enough for one night but we could ask for more amenities. Bedside clock was really bright and mini fridge did not have a freezer. Otherwise, excellent place to stay while on a road trip.

Big comfy king bed with good pillows. Spacious room and a nice shower.

Property would not accommodate our desire to change booking dates well in advance, which was quite inconvenient when dealing with a newborn in the NICU and having to make the booking in order to not be charged $300. There was what appeared to be black mold growing near the door in room 205 where we stayed. Ice machine dispensed cubes but was locked so the cubes just sat there blocked off.

A very quite and very clean place. Beds were awesome with nice pillows, great smart TVS and big showers. The outside was very pretty and well kept.

Honestly, the breakfast. Even though it was a "full breakfast", it wasn't great. Biscuits were hard, eggs needed cooked longer, hashbrowns were soggy, BUT, not sure what else the hotel can do with the little kitchens and frozen, rehydrated foods they are given to work with. They did have other things, cereals, fruit, yogurts which was great.

front desk forgot to activate my room card again just like the last time I stayed here. I had to leave my family and luggage outside the room’s door so that I could get on the elevator, go down to the front desk, and ask them to swipe the card to activate it. Not fun at the end of a very long day of driving.

it was great, food could have been a little warmer, but it was good. the staff was not impressive, one had more face piercings than should be allowed and was more interested in her telephone than helping clients.

Staff attitudes were lacking in sincere customer service and they seemed to feel the customers were secondary to what they were doing. Maybe it is a sign of the times.
