First of all, location is great - Fertilia is about 10 minutes by car to the historic centre of Alghero, and very close to very good beaches (5 to 10 minutes by car), and it's just so nice and calm. The view from the hotel garden is unbelievable, the photos don't do it justice. We were lucky to be on the garden floor, and we could just walk to the edge of the garden from our room at night to hear the waves, or in the morning to see the view. The room was huge, very clean and comfortable bed, and we felt at home. The staff was super friendly whenever we saw them, but mostly we almost felt like we had the place to ourselves, which was so nice. The best part was the private access to the ocean - it's a little tricky yo get to the water through the rocks, but if you do it, you feel like you are swimming on your own private ocean, there is no one around. A very nice outdoor shower and lounge chairs in the garden made it absolutely perfect.

We loved everything, but maybe just a warning to some other guests who prefer a savoury breakfast - there are not a lot of dalty options (although you could order eggs, we didn't try). But the homemade cakes for us were much preferable anyway! Thank you do much for everything!

The amazing AMAZING view. Absolutely stunning. We didn't have a reservation for a sea view room as none were available when booking but I requested an upgrade if possible and we were given a seaview room on the top floor. There is a lift but not down to breakfast. Seaview from the bathroom too! The room was a good size, comfy bed, good size bathroom. It was a really comfortable room. Great balcony with table and chairs and a lounger.

Breakfast options are limited (although there was decaf coffee and soy milk on request which I appreciated). There are very limited restaurant options nearby so a car is probably essential. The property is right on the sea but no access to the sea e.g. steps put in. I saw one brave person clamber in but I didn't think it was safe for me to manage over the rocks. This is definitely a b&b not a hotel - it is completely unmanned except during breakfast hours.

Good location, quiet, and 4 min walk to a few restaurants, pubs, and a pharmacy. Also a short drive to some lovely beaches and places in the north of Sardinia. Lovely view 🌅 nice breakfast but get up early because you might not find enough food left at 10 am. Public parking is right in front of the villa. Access to the sea but be aware it is a rocky one, no sand at all. Raffaella is very kind and warm, always with a smile. I loved the place

For a high season, the price was ok I guess, but I think it could have been a better price for one person. Nothing else.

perfect location, we loved the small town and the flower-filled street. it was easy to park and to get around (we rented a car but saw plenty of public buses going back and forth too) Communication and check-in was straightforward and easy, rooms are spotless and cleaned daily. Having breakfast on the patio every morning was a big plus, too.

The position and the view from the bedroom! Some of the cakes were amazing

The entrance hall gives a feeling of untidiness. Could be a bit more organised and inviting. Breakfast: offer and presentation was poor, fruit consisted in a few grapes at the end of their life and milk was off. The lady was very kind to replace it. And some of the cakes were amazing!

Stunning location by the sea with rocky steps leading down to the sea. Spacious room; excellent amenities including tea-making kit. Friendly hostess. Short walk from the small, easy-going (you can park anywhere!) town of Fertilia with its interesting history and access to all the great beaches and scenery of the Parco Regionale Porto Conte.

We spotted one mosquito in the room during our three nights, but otherwise all good.

The place us easy to reach from the airport by bus (we decided not to rent a car for this holiday) and then few minutes by foot. Check in was smooth, surely the view from the balcony was breathtaking and the breakfast was good with home made cakes, cold meats and cheese and coffee and fruits etc. Rafaella is very nice and always happy to help. Days when we didn't fancy a walk to the nearby beach we would go down stairs and have a dip in the sea just next to the hotel.

We found the bed done a bit in a rash the first day and it seemed that one of the pillowcases was not changed and the pillow itself was an old thin one (not one you would expect in a b&b/hotel). Rafaella provided to it the following day and with some more pillows which was nice. The glass of the balcony door was dirty the check-in day - it was cleaned the day after so no issues. Some of the metal work (i.e. bathroom rake) is fading away and again that is not what you would expect from a well rated hotel). We had to ask for a table for the balcony and were told to take the one of the next door room which was fine. What was not pleasant was the balcony railing full of cobweb so had to clean off before leaning to enjoy the sea view.

Very friendly, always helpful and personable landlady. Great location of the hotel directly (!) on the sea with its own access to the sea. Good breakfast. Nice room and bathroom. Good mattress. Everything was very clean with daily perfect cleaning of the accommodation. My balcony direktly faced south (you may have to book this with an upgrade). Great unrestricted view from east to west. Unfortunately, the balconies that merge directly into one another do not have any privacy screens and do not offer sun protection.

Amazing amazing place to stay- literally 10 minutes drive from Alghero but situated in gorgeous Fertilia - which contains a very lively square for dinner and drinks! The view from the hotel is exceptional and the staff are just wonderful- the breakfast was DELICIOUS (I’m vegan and there were vegan pastries and soya yoghurt every day!!!) thank you Rafaella for the best stay xx

Zero!

There have been a few times in my life I was sure I was in the best place I could be. Lucia made me so happy! It is the best room that could have been given to me - on the top floor, right in the corner with a splendid view on the sea and Alghero. There are only three rooms on this level, hopefully we felt like there was no one. And even the sea was calm you could hear it and enjoy it every moment: at the table on the balcony with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee, on the sunbed (the only one!) sunbathing in the lovely May sun, from the bed... I will miss these few days so much! The villa is run by friendly Rafaella, who called us 5 minutes after the time we were supposed to appear!, telling us she was waiting for us smiling at the gate! The place is clean and well furnished. You feel like at home. The breakfast is great, with the best apricot croissant I've ever tasted. You can have a cup of coffee beforehand in your room, together with a glass of local wine at the price lower than in the grocery shop in Fertilia! The village is really nice. There are a few bars and restaurants. The beaches around are lovely, the sea is even better. Highly recommended!

I would just add a blanket and an extra pillow to make the room best ever!
