Staff was very helpful, answered questions and managed things patiently, recommended an excellent local restaurant. When English communication didn't work, there was another staff to explain the answer. Breakfast had sufficient options and was good quality.

The shower door has a big hole and the door leaks water from below to the outside. When reporting this the staff did not know. When we returned to the hotel from outside the staff remembered our room number incorrectly and passed the wrong key, which can be a potential security concern.

A great location for Bologna Centrale railway station - a 5 minute walk away through the arcade at the end of the street! The Millenhotel is down a side street off the Piazza Settembre in a nice quiet location, but within a short walking distance to the city centre with excellent shops and eating places. There is a lift or stairs from the reception area - our room was on the second floor, overlooking the street. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and a good size bathroom with a great shower. In the evening, we took a ten minute walk to find a good place to eat, the Hostaria. In the morning, we had breakfast at 7 o'clock - an excellent choice of pastries, bread, meats and cheeses, cereals, fruit salad, yoghurts etc etc - before we had to leave to catch our train. Highly recommended.

Maybe tea & coffee making facilities in the room?

location is perfect, silent. it is close to the train station (3 minutes walk), and center is also short walk 10-15 minutes. breakfast were great ! buffet, including Italian ham, cheese, including also croissants and different cakes. they will prepare you fresh coffee or tea. hotel was clean. based on description in booking.com. 24 hour reception, very nice staff. keys stays in reception, no need to take them with you. also they communicate well via booking messenger. i recommend.

hotel is older and would need restoration. but of course after restoration prices would be different. and so, bcs we were on lower budget, we knew that cannot expect modern room etc, but it was clean. functioning.

Everything in this hotel was perfect.Spacious and comfortable room .The location is just 300 metres from the main train station and it is in a very central area very close to the old town and piazza Maggiore. The breakfast was delicious and the reception staff were very kind. Best value for money.

Nothing, only it would have been better if there's a kettle for making tee in the room

We arrived early morning and it was raining heavily. The staff at the reception were so welcoming, they offered us coffee from their bar for free. The rooms weren't ready and we stayed there for a while. Everyone was relaxed, smiling and helpful. The room was nice and clean. It's really close to the train station, around 3-5 min walk.

The bed wasn't comfortable:(

The reception staff were very helpful and polite. They fulfilled my request for a low floor because of mobility problems. After checkout they looked after my luggage until I returned to collect it. The hotel is only one block back from Bologna Centrale railway, station, an easy walk. Other hotels in the neighbourhood are twice the price.

The hotel obviously has a high turnover of guests because of its location and price. It may need a "refresh" before too long.

Location is a major advantage as it is close to the train station, but also a lovely stroll under the loggias to the historic centre. An excellent base for discovering this beautiful city.

If you are after functionality and location, then this is the place for you. Don't expect frills and luxury. But the staff's proactive approach do make it special!!

Great location. Adjacent to the train station. A 20 minute gentle walk into the city. Lift was reliable. Staffed 24 hours which made us feel safe and there was great customer recognition. Breakfast was superb. Room had all we needed including a safe. Housekeeping daily and attentive.Much better value for money than other Bologna hotels.

Everything was good.

The hotel is very close to Bologna Centrale train station and only a 10-20 mins walk to the city center. We did not need to take any public transport to go around. There is a laundromat only 5 mins walk from the hotel which was very handy for us as we have been traveling for weeks. The staff speak excellent English and are very informative.

There were a few groups of people loitering outside in front of the hotel that was quite loud; we could hear their voices from the 3rd floor. We could also hear the ring of the elevator bell from our room, as well as people going in and out of the corridors. The housekeeper knocked on our door approximately at 10 am, which we thought was quite unusual.

The shower was the best we've ever had on a holiday. The location was ideal being near the station from where we took an early train to Venice for one day. The walk to the centre of town was very intersting we loved the collonades. The bed was very firm and comfortable.

The bedroom was a tad on the small side, but a small price to pay.
