Localisation is the best advantage, very clean rooms and super helpful and nice staff. I was feeling very safe in this area and I liked the fact there is request to respect night time hours. The only I would add, I would like to have additional blanket available in a room, as the nights were a little bit chilly outside and I would love to have some additional layer. Breakfast - I would also love to have some fresh fruits available, but it is all value for price. Thank you very much for your accommodation and if I would be back to Bologna, I would definitely look back at your place to book. And again, staff is amazing!!!!, thank you very much

Breakfast was ok, but see below. Coffee in capsules was great, machine coffee was awful (instant coffee). Area safe and conveniently close to the city center. Staff very helpful.

Breakfast: bread could be better (no much variety, the nice brown bread was going fast without quick replacement). Only one toasting machine, not enough when crowded. We were not allowed to take coffee out - it would be nice to have an extra coffee in the nice terrace. Eggs would be nicer if they were fresh-boiled and not cold from the fridge. Room small, and no well lit. No anti-mosquito grids in the windows, while heavily needed (this would also allow to have the outer blinds up, giving more light to the room). A/C too noisy. Finally, the 1pm rule is too restrictive, maybe 2pm?

If you are arriving at Bologna Centrale then take bus C to Cestello, then it is only a three minute walk. The location is fairly convenient to reach most destinations in the historic centre of Bologna, besides, the city is conducive to walking with much to explore and many eateries. The breakfast is a buffet service so best to get in early (the restaurant area opens at 7:30), although the waitress does her best to keep stocks replenished. The staff are efficient and informative and the room is kept clean (but not on Sundays).

The bed in my single room was rather small, but otherwise comfortable. The lifts were often overcrowded, especially at breakfast time.

I've stayed here before and find it very pleasant and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and can communicate well even if they don't speak English - unfortunately I don't speak Italian. The single rooms are not vast in size but I think they're very comfortable and equipped with everything you need including an en suite bathroom.

I would have liked to be able to turn the heating in the bedroom down more easily without having to open the window. Having breakfast included is good but I'd have liked a bit more fruit available if possible.

This is an adult hostel which is, as the name implies, located in a former hospital. It also hosts large groups, many of which donwork related to the religious affiliation of the organization. Staff are notably kind and attentive. The hostel is very well located, only a 30 minute walk from Bologna Centrale and very close to great restaurants, shops and markets in the historic city centre. Rooms are basic but clean and well kept. The shower is small but had great pressure and essentially limitless hot water. There was good storage space for clothes, a s a couple of small desks. The single beds were reasonably comfortable at first but by the third night started feeling too firm. The included breakfast, which yiu take in a large communal dining hall in the basement, was decent: croissant; pound cake; bread (there are toasters); cold cuts; cheese; boiled eggs; yogurt; and a variety of juices.

The downside of the breakfast was the not at all good coffee (first we found in Italy). One thing to be aware of. The partition walls on the residence floors are not at all sound resistant. Voices from the hallway were clearly audible, and for one night we could hear someone coughing in a nearby room.

Excellent breakfasts. The room ,whilst small, was what I expected. Everywhere was very clean and very ‘ Italian’, no frills, no fuss with quiet service to their clients. Having breakfast with the occasional monk was interesting. I would certainly stay there again.

The hotel catered for a clientele of limited means. The restaurant menu at night was inexpensive and restricted but perfectly wholesome. If you want gourmet meals eat out, on the prices the hotel charges you can afford it.

The room was pretty comfortable for a single person, the bathroom was spacious with a big window. The service cleaned to room every day, all tidy and cleaned all the time :) The breakfast that is included in the price was perfect, the aroma of the croissants around the whole building was sooooo good! It is also super close to the city, there are cafes close by, bus stops around the corner. Great overall!

The shower had some mold that maybe was difficult to remove? Because they cleaned the bathroom every day. The AC was loud, but I didn't need it, I just opened the windows

The position in town is excellent. You can go everywhere easily on foot. Very quiet neighborhood. Excellent breakfast. Nothing that you need on a 24 hour basis is missing…….automatic snack machines and use of fridge and freezer. The rooms need a bit of a face lift as they are worn due to age. Overall it’s great value for money and with a cheap car park (10 euro per day) right next door. Would definitely return there.

The location is within a walking distance from the two towers the neighborhoods surrounding the hotel are delightful for a walk, it’s right next to a bus stop so it’s very easy to get there from the train station. the staff were very helpful during check in and check out. The rooms are very clean and the atmosphere is very comfortable in general.

The room is a bit small but doesn’t really matter because we only stayed there for showers and sleeping. The breakfast was kind of limited in options. Although the lady there preparing the breakfast was very attentive and the general setting was clean and tidy.

Excellent location, about a ten minute leisurely walk for. piazza Maggiore. Very easy and affordable on site parking with clear directions prior to arrival. Reasonably priced dining option on site that offers a good option for when you don’t want to out. Extensive cold breakfast. (The hotel feels like a dormitory crossed with a hotel.)

Nothing really. The rooms are sparse and minimal, but they are comfortable. If you are looking for luxury, this may not be a good fit for you.
