Location is exceptionally great (very close to the Piazza). Room service was perfect, and the concierge was very helpful. The room was clean and spacy, with comfortable furnishings.

Room decor was unusual and not very much to our taste (the red-and-black color scheme was too aggressive, making it difficult to relax in the evening).

The location is perfect and probably the justification for the high price. The lobby is surprisingly small for a four star hotel and there is a small lounge area. The bedroom was small for the price though the showerroom was well appointed. However the hot water failed on two occasions. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff at reception and in the breakfast room were friendly and very helpful.

The hotel's location, merely a minute from the city center and major attractions, proved incredibly convenient during our one-night stay. Additionally, the hotel provides parking just a 3-minute walk away, and the staff readily assisted with luggage during both check-in and check-out. The hotel rooms are tastefully adorned, each with its own distinct theme. The breakfast experience was truly impressive – the ingredients were of excellent quality, and the diverse options catered to every palate.

The hotel, though formerly aged, has undergone renovations to acquire a more modern appearance. Yet, it appears that certain aspects were overlooked during this process. The bathroom, unfortunately, is quite compact and cramped. Moreover, the broken shower head holder and limited space made it challenging for two people to get ready simultaneously. Furthermore, the furniture still shows signs of wear with several indentations and scratches. However, these are minor issues that did not significantly impact our stay. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for a stay in Bologna.

I love Bologna so finding a hotel so close to the centre was a joy. Great location, some quirky rooms decorated by artists - including the one we stayed in! Tea and coffee making facilities. Superb breakfast. Also Prossecco, filled croissants and crisps available in the guest lounge(!) Great location for exploring the city, about a 10 min walk from the main rail station with much of this under the colonnades that Bologna is famous for.

Strangely, had individually wrapped (and probably non-recyclable) cardboard cups to drink from in the room rather than reusable crockery. Really very little downside.

had trouble in first night as was in a room on a lower floor and my air con wasn’t working but couldn’t have window open as a little noisy. once I called about it the air con was turned on from reception. also they moved me to a higher floor without any fuss. air con ought to be operational without having to make a call as you wouldn’t know that was necessary the public areas could do to be made more atmospheric.

Location is unbeatable. The unique design of the common areas are great. The breakfast is superb and the lady who serves breakfast with a cheerful welcoming smile should be employee of the year.

We paid for a two bedroom and 2 bath units on two floors. The check in girl tried to pawn to us the cheapest room with no windows, one bath and a sofa bed as the second bedroom. After a half hour of argument, and with proof of pictures and room plans and description, she finally caved in and gave us the room we paid for. Left such a bad impression for us this being the very first hotel we checked into in Italy. Fortunately that was the first and only scam we encountered in Italy. Every experience following was fine.

My partner and I spent 5 nights staying in the hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, the room comfortable and well-appointed with a good bathroom and shower. It was very quiet at night despite being so centrally located. The breakfast was excellent and it has a great tratorria attached to the hotel, with delicious food. The reception staff were lovely and incredibly helpful, in particular Giulia and we would like to mention Ilaria as well. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Very Central location. Great air con. Restaurant authentic traditional Bolognese. Staff exceptionally helpful superior room was a very good size.

Had arranged airport transport with hotel. Not cheap at 75 euros for a van & a driver with an attitude problem. Travelled the world for decades & it was the first time I have ever been asked to pay in advance. Would recommend that you just get a taxi at the airport for 30 euros.

The staff were very accommodating, they helped me to heat up the leftover from the night before; they stored my luggage safely; they prepared the box breakfast for the morning I had to leave before 7am; their included breakfast was awesome: fress brioche, coffee, cheese and salami; the location is excellent! Staff very friendly!

The room was small, you walk in the hallway then it's your bed; there was one single blond hair on the new towel but I am not a blond

Our room was smartly decorated and clean. The staff throughout was excellent-friendly and professional and helpful. The location is top.

Breakfast had some issues. The quality of the prepared food was very good. However the scrambled and cooked meats were cold. And we would have expected options for freshly cooked (omelette, etc.) selections. Our room was fine for a couple of nights, but somewhat small. We did love the creative decor.
