The location is excellent! Yes there is construction going on right across from the hotel as of this review, but honestly if you leave your windows closed it's not that noticeable in my opinion. The A/C worked and that was enough to keep the room cool during my stay. The room was large as well as the bathroom. Multiple towels for the shower and hand towels. The water pressure was insanely good, although the temp did fluctuate a bit during a shower. The bed was decent and the room was very clean. And one of the most important things is the wifi! It worked great!

The shower head holder was sorta broken so it was tough to hang back up. Not a big deal at all!

The location is a few minutes of walking from the train station and the Walter Plaza, where you can pretty much find anything. The room was clean and cleaned daily, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was pretty big, it had a desk on which I was able to work, and a decent chair. The bathroom was also decently sized, with a shower and hair dryer. The bed was pretty comfortable.

The price was a bit high, considering it didn't include breakfast. But I booked it pretty late, so that might also be the cause.

Big room with a lot of charm Close to the train station and city center

The key system is not convenient, you cannot go out with the key Only one key for the room, we were two people and would have preferred to have two Building in construction just in front of our window There are people staying late drinking and smoking right at the entrance of the hotel. I am a woman alone and some of them did annoy me. I don't think it's unsafe but it's bothering as they were asking questions and would insist on me answering them It's a pain because the hotel is not responsible for the last two points but it does make the stay less enjoyable

I noticed that some earlier reviews perhaps put in some negative comments on various aspects of this hotel. Firstly - the wifi policy has obviously changed and is now free for ones entire visit. Secondly - yes there is construction site outside but work doesn't start until 8.00am so not really much of an issue compared with the convenience of the location and proximity to the station. And finally some reviewers commented on the number of itinerants in the area and how as a solo female traveller they felt unsafe. I was a bit concerned after reading these reviews as unfortunately a late illness meant I too was travelling to Bolzano alone. But it proved a non event. Yes it's not the most attractive location, but unsafe - hardly- just turn right out of the hotel and around the corner one is right in the main town square. Lots of people, great cafes and about 3 mins max from Hotel Adria.

a kettle and coffee and tea making facilities wouldn't go amiss.

The hotel is located close to the Railway station and also to the city center, at 5 minutes to the central Walther Platz. The room was larger than usual, with three very comfortable beds, TV, and a small incorporated kitchen with an electric stove, fridge and water sink, and also dishes, glasses and pans, everything necessary to make a breakfast. This was excellent. Also, the bathroom was extremely clean and large. The room service was impeccable and the room was very well cleaned, towels replaced and everything fresh. A special thank you to the reception desk staff who sent us a package with some clothes left in the room.

The room was already prepared at 1 pm. TV offered a lot of channels, including all essential Austrian and Swiss channels. Available drinks are limited to beer, wine and water, but are at disposal at the reception at a very reasonable price, and there's a fridge in the room. Reception is personalised from 6 am to 1 am. Train station as well as city centre (cathedral) are only a 3 to 5 minutes walk away.

Unfortunately there's a huge construction site in front of the hotel, but I had a room to the courtyard and thus it was quite quiet.

I stayed in this hotel on two occasions, both times the room was nice. The hotel is very close to the train station, as well as to the main squares of old town so everything is available to you in walking distance. For those who may have issues with stairs: one floor is elevator accessible, for the other floor you have to walk half a floor on stairs, so you may want to state your preference, both floors appear to have single rooms and double rooms.

Vey nice hotel, close the the historic center. The staff is nice and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. Very clean too. I walked a lot and it was well situated.

There was a construction site just in front of the hotel. Very noisy and not inviting. The view of the mountain was completely blocked by this new building. However, with the windows closed, the noise was not invasive and it did not wake me up.

We liked everything this hotel had to offer, from the kindness of the host, to the location (very close to both the train station and the center), and the room itself was really nice. Just like in the pictures, and with truly gorgeous views! And completely sound proof. I’d also like to add that this place also passes the queer vibe-check 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Nothing. Right now (December/2022) there’s works in progress the park right in front of the hotel.. but with the amazing sound proof windows we could only perceive noise with them open.

Good location, not far from train & bus station. Close to the main square where there are plenty of restaurants for an evening meal. Friendly efficient staff, good quality breakfast.

At night, turn right out of the hotel and go up to the main square as turning left may leave you among some undesirables.
