Fantastic hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had originally been given a smaller and darker room, but the staff upgraded us to a larger and brighter room at no extra cost because we were staying at the hotel for seven days. The breakfast was good with many options to choose from, and the hotel's restaurant serves delicious local food at a very reasonable price. The pool area was really nice and cozy, and there were only a few people at the pool, even though it was high season (late July). The gym was well-equipped and modern. The cleanliness was top-notch - both in the rooms and other facilities.

There were no options for having lunch at the hotel, and due to the hotel's remote location, it was also not easy to find lunch in the surrounding area. Therefore, it would have been a big plus if there had been a small refrigerator in the room. We stayed in one of the smaller economy rooms for a day before being upgraded to a larger room, which was much more spacious. It should be noted that the smaller economy rooms are quite small and relatively dark.

Location is great; it's easy to get to and from the airport and in and out of Pisa. Quiet spot with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Ample car parking adjacent to the hotel though outside the grounds. Felt safe enough. The room was nice enough and the bathroom facilities perfectly adequate; small shower cubicle but did the job. We had breakfast there one morning and it was very good; all self-service and very much continental style but plenty of choice. We did have a problem when the supplied hairdryer started smoking but we had brought our own. Friendly and helpful staff although they adhere quite strictly to check in times. But they were happy to take luggage in while we went off to visit Pisa. All in all, adequate without being one to avoid or on the other hand to go out of your way for. We stayed twice; the first night we arrived in Pisa and again the night before we flew out. When we left on the morning to go to the airport it was about 7.15 and there was no one on reception to check us out so we left a note and the staff were very good in getting back to us later to take payment on the phone.

The hairdryer in the room started smoking but nothing ignited and no-one got electrocuted. There were two pushed-together single beds in the room and on the first night we stayed we had to push them apart to find the electric socket to plug in my bedside light; just a bit of a faff. You can put it down to the property's 'character'. We'd stay there again because of the location and convenience but only really for an overnight after arriving late or needing to leave early in the morning for a flight; we wouldn't take an extended stay there but as much as anything that's because we'd prefer to be off in the heart of Tuscany, touring.

The room was excellent ( suite) very spacious bathroom lovely and modern with all facilities. As a big room, the aircon was a little light for the size but good enough. The breakfast was typical continental and delicious with good coffee machine ! Swimming pool was amazing and the pictures do not do it justice. We relaxed most of saturday and had the pool pretty much to ourselves. Nice shower and toilet near the pool ( again very french/italian style toilet suitable for pool area ). There was no bar open but not a problem, a little walk to reception and able to buy drinks from the small bar in the hotel and take them out to pool. Staff very helpful and cheerful. For a suite we had our own gazeebo but didnt use it as wanted the sun. One note is that booking.com details suggest private pool for suite. Not quite true but for the money didnt expect it. Plenty of sunbeds available and child friendly pool with slope into steps and deeper end.

Can't honestly give much negative feedback. Surpassed our expectation and a lovely little find for what we wanted. Don't go expecting it to be fully contained with bar open all day, lunch served, dinner served etc. However, just ask the staff and they will help. That is our experience.

An exceptional hotel. Characterful but relatively low key. Ideal for a relaxing holiday but with Pisa on the doorstep and Florence, Volterra and so much more to visit in the area. The pool is beautiful and the gardens really peaceful. The breakfasts are excellent, as are the evening meals and the restaurant a wonderful setting. Moreover, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making for a lovely atmosphere. I would definitely recommend and hope to return

Beautiful Hotel, nice garden and pool, very relaxing! if you just want relaxing time around the pool, it is a great place. And everybody was very kind!

The food could have been better. We tried the Hotel restaurant one evening and were a bit disappointed. Therefore we went out to Pisa and Florence the other evenings. Also, it would have been cool to get some small food options for lunch as it is quite a remote location and a nice hotel to stay the whole day at the pool.

Rural atmosphere. Parking. Breakfast included. Airport vicinity. Excellent communication and very accommodating on requests. Stylish.

High flooring heights and high individual step heights make it very difficult for older/less mobile visitors on upper floor. Staff tried to close breakfast and discouraged us having it 10 minutes before closing time (clsoing 10.30am).

Having read mixed reviews we didn’t know what to expect but were absolutely delighted with every aspect of our stay. This is a lovely old house converted into a beautiful hotel with garden and swimming pool. Our room was clean and modern and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient. Altogether highly recommended

I liked the room, the gym, the proximity to Pisa airport and the possibility of parking a car.

Subscribe to netflix and youtube should be improved. As well as the range of breakfast to include stewed vegetables and some sauce. Sweets are not what you should eat for breakfast. I didn't have much to choose from.

A beautiful place to stay, definitely exceeding our expectations. Really peaceful setting but being close to main roads made it a perfect base for exploring the area. Our room was traditionally decorated but also luxurious and the grounds and pool are very well looked after. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Clean room in a very very beautiful area. the check in was quick and very nice. and also the lady during check out was very nice and friendly! we could even stay after check out in the hotels gym and pool area to train and enjoy the sun and to plan our next stop on our road trip through Italy. Grazie! if we are in this area again, we will book again this hotel. :-)
