Bar food menu could offer a little wider selection. Quality of tea was so so, but I have found this to be the case on most high end hotels in Italy

The staff really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and so was the spa.

Modern building, with comfortable and clean rooms. Breakfasts were always fresh and with a reasonably good range of choices. The hotel provides free transfers whenever is needed. The transfer car is new and comfortable. Gym, ski rooms, cigar rooms and many other amenities are available.

No free water is provided in the room. Water in the mini bar priced at 5€, with juiced priced 8€. WiFi wasn’t stable all the time. Breakfasts were the same for everyday during our stay. The SPA was always crowded, but the staff provides extra seats if needed. The shuttle drivers are often driving carelessly.

The staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The property itself is located just outside the historic centre which is great for access and it is perfectly silent. It is just a 8-10 minute walk to the very centre of town. The hotel is the most dog friendly place that we have ever stayed. There was a small fee for her stay, but they provided bowls, a mat, a bed and a huge bag of treats. My car was parked for me and returned charged for my onward journey. The breakfast had the most amazing view and was absolutely outstanding. The spa was lovely - my daughter and I really enjoyed the ‘Emotional Shower’ (we think it is mint then apple then eucalyptus). We have stayed in many of the hotels in and around Courmayeur and for me this is absolutely the best.

Everything was perfect

We had a wonderful two-night stay at the Grand Hotel Courmayeur. The room was spacious, well equipped, and had a stunning mountain view. We also enjoyed the spa with the sauna. The breakfast was amazing, with a huge variety of options. As a highlight, I would like to mention the personal. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Fatima, who went above and beyond, and Andrea, who took me to a restaurant when my knee was hurting after a long trek. I really appreciated how kind the staff was in the hotel; I am very grateful for that.

Very charming property, very well located and good service. The staff was very nice, responsive and made a lot of effort to ensure that we had a great stay. I would like to complement Claudio for all the effort made by him and his team to ensure that the hotel guests feel welcomed and looked after. The room was great - good size, clean and comfortable. The valet service for the car and the shuttle to the city center was very helpful. Good breakfast spread and service and lovely view on the mountains from the restaurant where breakfast was served. Special thank you to Claudio, Nando and the entire staff at the reception and the restaurant. We look forward to visiting again.

We had only one issue during our stay - we needed the shuttle for pick up from the city center and there was an issue with the phone system and some miscommunication - so the pick up took longer. Just a recommendation with respect to infrastructure.

From the moment we walked in, we were delighted by the incredibly friendly staff. The outgoing and friendly general manager took amazing care to set us up in the bar area prior to checking in -- snacks, drinks and great conversation. Our favorite front desk assistant was named WIAM, like William, but without the extra letters. She was so, so helpful wtih directions and arranging for a driver to take us through the mountains and into Switzerland to catch a train for Grindelwald. OUr train travel was carefully prepared and outline for us, thanks to her care and professionalism. We just loved Courmayeur and cannot wait to return. Gorgeous property, amazing room with view of rolling hills and Mt. Blanc, awesome village, food, spa, and the hiking amazing as was the entire Mt. Blance experience. The Grand Hotel Courmayeur is truly a gem in Courmayeur. This was our second stay at this hotel, but this time we asked for a Junior suite. It was very spacious and comfortable. Before arrival we asked for a crib, which was already inside, but in the evening we decided to get another one for our little girl as we preferred not to use the sofa bed, they provided it within approx.10 minutes, which was great! The staff is very friendly and polite!

Since there are no air conditioning in the rooms (which is understandable being in the mountains), we left the windows and doors a bit open for the nights. Unfortunately our room was very close to the garbage area, and the first night (after 11pm) our children woke up for the noise of the glasses crashing in the trash which was very loud. The other nights we paid more attention and immediately closed the doors when we heard what was about to happen. A few nights before we left there was a family with 2 dogs under our room, and they were fighting 2 nights with their neighbours’ dog, which again forced us to close everything. The morning of our check-out we learned that they finally asked for another room, but it was unpleasant to hear them 2 nights straight.

Staff is very friendly, views are breathtaking. I had one of the best massages ever. They are very pet friendly and accomodating. Dog is allowed with you to the restaurant and breakfast room which we very much appreciated.
