Comfortable bed, clean room. Big free parking. Shopping mall and a restaurant nearby.

Very weak breakfasts (dry and cold scrambled eggs, cold sausages every day), limited choice (apart pastries). From time to time terrible smell from the sewage installation (mostly sink), also no ventilation in the bathroom. Electrical outlet in the bathroom didn't work - you can't use your shaver etc. Poor WiFi - you can't work or use it smoothly. We had bad luck as there were some construction/renovation works closely, so since 8am every day we had loud noises - simply no way to relax.

It’s on the outskirts of Bologna and I chose it because I didn’t want to drive into Bologna itself that night to return a rental car. Basically a business hotel but only 20 minutes to central Bologna. Very good standard of furnishings, looks like it was recently refurbished. Good dining room priced what you’d expect. Serving staff were excellent both evening and at breakfast. Price of the room with breakfast was very good for the quality of the hotel.

They advise to reserve dinner when you check in, and you should or you’ll be eating really late. It’s a big dining room but only part is used. It would be helpful for front desk to directly ask if you want to reserve for dinner when you check in and explain that seating is limited.

We had a 2 nights beautiful stay at this hotel . What we liked most is the large swimming pool, we wanted to relax and swim, if you are a resident you can take beach towels from the reception. The receptionists were very kind and helpful. They also spoke English ( important for those who don’t speak Italian) . Breakfast is fantastic, dinner is also very tasty if you stay in . The room has everything someone need . We were very satisfied from our stay there . Of course it’s away from the centre of Bologna , you need a car to be there . parking is in the property of the hotel .

Everything is fine.

We stayed for one night and it was good. We used the pool in the afternoon and it was nice - the pool is huge (I guess Olympic-size). The breakfast is more italian style with emphasis on the sweet stuff but had some savoury options as well.

The hotel is big so not really intimate-feeling (which is not a negative in itself but it was just our impression). You could only order dinner at the hotel restaurant after a certain time (I think 19:30), but maybe that's the standard italian way. As someone else mentioned in the reviews, the scrambled eggs at breakfast were not good, do not try them. These are just some small things I could think of, our stay was pleasant nontheless.

The staff was very welcoming, actively listened to what you said to them and was always ready to help. The breakfast was extremely varied and fairly tasty. The beds were very firm so it was a good night's sleep. The access to the swimming was something to be so grateful about, to be frank. The reception team was so kind to let us stay for an extra 2 hours after the usual check out time.

The only things that could have improved is the timings for the swimming pool, as the access was only from 9am. Something else to work on, could be the cleanliness, for the rest it was a rather good hotel's stay.

The Living Place Hotel offered an exceptional experience. The check-in process was seamless, parking was readily available, and the room itself was superb. It was spacious, exuding a sense of novelty and comfort. Additionally, the hotel provided a small mini bar stocked with various complimentary drinks and snacks. During my stay on the 5th floor, I was treated to a beautiful view. However, I did experience a slight inconvenience as one of the two elevators was temporarily out of service. Nevertheless, it did not significantly impact my overall impression of the hotel. One of the highlights of The Living Place Hotel is its Olympic swimming pool. Unfortunately, due to heavy rainfall in the preceding days, the pool required inspection before reopening to ensure safety. Although I was unable to enjoy it during my stay, I appreciated the hotel's commitment to maintaining a high standard of quality and safety for its guests. In terms of dining, the breakfast provided a diverse selection of dishes, guaranteeing a satisfying and delicious meal. Upon entering the breakfast area, I noticed a large group of people who had just finished their meal, resulting in a lively atmosphere and a slightly disheveled appearance. Despite the bustling ambiance, the breakfast experience was enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend The Living Place Hotel as a fantastic destination worth revisiting when in the area. From its seamless check-in process to the excellent room amenities, it truly delivers a memorable experience. Although the temporary closure of the swimming pool was unfortunate, it demonstrated the hotel's dedication to guest safety

Great pool and the rooms are so nice with comfortable beds and had complementary coffee and vanity sets, it's about the little things here. The rooms are really clean and there is a minibar, the pool is big and great for a hot summer day.

We tried to have drinks at night at the restaurant/bar area this was some time after dinner and they didn't really want to help us. You have to reserve and pay for a bed at the swimming pool

The breakfast, the swimming pool, the airconditioning and the calm atmosphere are very nice. Alltogether very good hotel.

After 8 nights I got sick and I had to book one more extra night. I had to pay almost 200 euros for 1 night. I think if a guest spends so many nights (and money) there, 1 more night should cost a bit less than this... :(

The room was light, airy and comfortable. Being outside of the city means it is quiet and a good place to relax after a busy day sightseeing. The pool is fabulous very welcome. We ate dinner one night which was excellent. The Wi-Fi was strong which was a bonus too.

What let the hotel down was breakfast. The range of choices was ok but it was the state of the room - we stayed 5 nights and every morning when we came down the tables were all dirty and hadn’t been cleaned after people left - some mornings we had to clean them and get cutlery and napkins before we could eat as there were literally no clean tables. Fresh food, such a fruit and meat, should be covered up and ideally kept chilled, as there were flies buzzing around and landing on them which was not great. Clearly more staff required at breakfast, and current staff need to work at more than the pace of a snail! Total contrast to the fabulous dinner service. The entire breakfast process needs an overhaul

The rooms were warm, cozy and clean, beds comfortable. The bathrooms were very nice, spacious and clean - lovely. Breakfast was plentiful, lots of delcious choices, both Italian and continental. Staff were friendly.

There were limited non-dairy options for breakfast. The gym was disappointing - we had planned to use it and came down in our outfits to find a small room - not bigger than the bedrooms, with only two machines. We did not use it. The outside area was not cleaned up and arranged well - it was still cold but the view from the breakfast room is out towards the pool area and it would have been nice to have a neater view.
