I had a choice of which hotel to stay at for 7 days. I chose NH Bologna because of the indoor pool and exercise equipment. People must sign up because they limit the number of people allowed in the pool/exercise room. I signed up during a time when no one else had signed up. However the front desk allowed 3 people to enter 30 minutes before their sign in time and they jumped into the pool with me. The pool can barely accommodate 2 people at a time. So I was basically forced out of the pool. On my 4, 5 ,6 days the pool was closed. During the entire week, the treadmill was broken. I loved this hotel, the rooms were fantastic, the restaurant and staff were great! But I was disappointed about the pool and treadmill since that's the specific reason I chose this hotel.

This was our second stay in this hotel, first was in 2016 and we liked almost everything. 1. Shopping mall, Centro Commerciale Centronova, right behind the hotel 2. Good cafes, bakeries, restaurants within 5-10 min reach by car 3. Bologna city 10 min drive away 4. Free open parking 5. Secured, 5€/day, garage parking 6. Good swimming pool, kids would love it (WC and shower remained closed all the time, a bit of disappointment though) 7. room cleaning Great value for the money, definitely worth coming back

This time the staff was not very welcoming, looked like they were somewhat stepping back or kind of hesitant with English speaking guests. Besides that everything was very good here.

we booked a king size bed room but got a much smaller size bed the receptionist tried to call the other hotel but they didn’t have either. I don’t understand if we book it online and got the confirmation than how come there was not available when we got there. The hotel supposed to give us a discount than but nothing like that . So it was quite disappointing.

Lovely large rooms, staff spoke english well and were friendly, nice warm indoor pool, comfortable beds.

Further out from the city than we realised, had to take a taxi every day as there is nothing close by and there was no public transport. Nice hotel, but need to factor in an extra 40 wish euros a day to get taxis there and back

The hotel was clean and the decor was nice and modern. The staff was kind and useful

The location was a little out of the way, the entrance to the hotel was located in a weird place and wasn't marked very well. The construction work made a really cramped area even more difficult to navigate. They could have used some help at the reception.

We had mistakenly made the reservation for the wrong date. The staff (and in particular Aurora and Rosa) was exceptionally helpful and understanding, offering us a new room and not charging us for the old room despite the non-refundable booking! They also offered us complementary parking. Thank you so much!

Everything was perfect.

Nice staff who spoke english well. Good breakfast with a range of options, lovely large and comfortable rooms. Nice warm indoor pool.

Too far from centre and need to take a taxi everywhere or drive, there is no public transport and it is difficult to walk anywhere

Stayed for four nights in the hotel. We were located in a room at the eight floor, which is the highest floor. During hot temperatures outside , the airconditioned could not cool the room suffficiently. While asking the reception, the gentlemen advised us to put the setting at highest (3) and just wait. After some puzzling, 3 means setpoint+ 3. This would mean 29 degrees Celcius. After a night at more than 27 degrees, and another complaint as the reception, the lady directly provided another room on the fifth floor where you could set at setpoint minus three degrees (24 degrees. That was great service. The hotel also had a guarded parking garage for 5 euro/ day (which the same guy at the reception also discouraged as parking outside was for free). Location is next to shopping center with restaurants in neighboring villages,
