The hotel must be one of the most comfortable for visitors seeking accommodation close to the centre of the city. Our rooms were spacious and nicely-appointed. Splendid dining room. Excellent breakfast, Offstreet parking. I only hope this positive review doesn't mean my next visit will be more costly.

A pool would have been nice (I'm only joking).

We went to Ferrara for the summer festival. The hotel is right by the entrance to the festival. The hotel has it's own parking space, costs additional 18€ per day. They were nice enough to let us leave the car on the parking space also the next day after checking out. The room was ok, we did use it only for sleeping.

Duchessa Isabelle Hotel is a place for real travelers. The look and feel of the place are wonderfully authentic. No fake, only perfect taste. Without glossy looks, everything works perfectly. I visited the place on four very hot days in June, and I could always enjoy perfectly fresh nights. The place is also immaculately clean and very well maintained. Last, but absolutely not least: the staff is 100% dedicated to the visitors. I have been perfectly advised on restaurants (all incredibly creative, fine, and authentic). I write this review because I find some of the less positive reviews very unfair. Duchessa Isabell Hotel is a true 5-star place, even though it is different from standardized luxury places you can find in Dubai. As a frequent traveler, I can only warmly recommend the place to those who know what they are looking for when it comes to finding a place with comfort, character, and a unique spirit. A lovely Villa style accomodation in Tuscany. Nice and warm welcome and friendly staff - very cozy. Breakfast fresh and in a very stylish freshly renovated barn setup. We also enjoyed the pool area after our check-out with outdoor shower. Loved everything.

Location is fantastic! Breakfast very good!

We were out exploring the city until 9pm and the spa was closed when we got back. Sorry to have missed the opportunity to use the spa! Later hours for adults would be wonderful!

This is a well converted palazzo. The breakfast room was rather historically luxurious. Reception staff welcoming and helpful. The view out my dormer window reached by my very own circular staircase was green and peaceful

Very clean and tidy. Beautiful historic building and furniture. Staff were amazing! We loved the breakfast room.

A few expected amenities were missing. I’d have liked to have been able to borrow a tea kettle for the room. The bedding wasn’t very comfortable

Romantic and historical hotel 400 meters from Castle. Good breakfast and polite personnel. Breakfast room is very beautiful and interesting. We didn't try spa.

The 5 stars represent history more and not the real level of the hotel. Some areas/rooms have to be taken care or renovated because time and years are obvious on them.

I think the general insonorization of the room could be better! No presence of conditioning device... Some particular important things can't be broken!
