This is a 3 star hotel that deserves 4 stars. We stayed here four nights in August 2023. This hotel is in the city center of Ferrara, internally so modern, neat and clean. We booked two rooms and both of them was exactly the same high quality and clean. The bathroom in one of them was not so comfortable as it was too close for the shower cabin - in the another was more better. The morning breakfast was extremely rich, fresh and delicious it was also for our three children. I would like to highlight the kind and very good English speaker receptionists!!! It was really good and helpful (what I asked and got quick and precise help: local restaurant recommendations, Parking in Bologna etc.)

We selected outdoor parking lots (which is located in the LTZ area), and the distance was only few hundreds of meters however the access to the parking lot in the first few cases was impossible/complicated without GPS. :) Later on it was much more manageable.

We were only offered breakfasts at Hotel Touring and we were not disappointed. The attending staff at breakfasts were most accomodating and attentive. The front lobby staff were very helpful in suggesting local attractions, including historical features and local dining establishments.

Hotel Touring met my expectations very well; we enjoyed both our stay and the hotel location as we walked to our areas of interest in the surrounding community. So, no negatives.

A lovely modern hotel, we appreciated the lift and the splendid breakfast - one of the best ever!

This hotel is not easy to find. We asked for rooms close to each other - in fact they were on different floors!! VERY annoying... We booked secure parking, something we look for in a city centre hotel, and were happy to pay 29 Euros for this - but no mention was made of a height restriction and as we, like many folk who are 'touring' by car, had a top box we couldn't access the secure parking and had to park in a street round the corner from the hotel - and would have been charged the same as for the hotel's secure parking if it hadn't been that the hotel forewent this in recognition of the confusion and disappointment. Wonder why this hotel doesn't have its own restaurant for evening meals??

The location in downtown Ferrara (near the castle) is great, though not particularly "charming." The staff was very helpful in providing local knowledge. Breakfast was a notch or two above the usual coffee and pastry offerings at similar hotels.

They have every right to do this, but they raised prices dramatically (as compared to their normal mid-week rates) to take advantage of a popular event in town.

next to the historic center , you exit from the hotel and in few meters its the estense castle. Parking situation a bit unclear , however you get assistance from the hotel employees . The garage parking 200m from the hotel where they have a few spaces to park is very convenient with additional charge

Going late for breakfast you find less and less products. If finished they don't refill which is not acceptable having paid for the breakfast . Even bread was missing in some days

The location was excellent, just next to the historic centre and easy to reach by bus from the station. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us good advice on eating out. Breakfast was well served and the Cappuccinos particularly good.

The room was rather warm and the air-conditioning didn't help very much.

The location, the breakfast and the value for money are great, but what makes Hotel Touring a great choice is their professional staff. During my stay on March they were polite and handled exceptionally well a problem that arised with my booking. The overall experience with the hotel was excellent. I highly recommended it.

We had one of the best hotel beds ever, so comfortable! And all staff we came across we not only helpful and friendly but also efficient.

Breakfast could offer more hot/cooked food variety, eg fried eggs not only scrambled and fried ham not only bacon, but otherwise, the breakfast was great, they also offer cappuccino and espresso coffee in addition or instead of filter Americano. Great stuff.

Location was good - close to the centre. In fact we had a view of part of the castello (castle) at the centre of town. The room was a reasonable size. Breakfast was very good - good range and good coffee.

The only downside was the size of the shower enclosure. Anyone who is large will find it difficult to negotiate.

The bed was comfortable and breakfast was perfect. They even had many non-gluten options. The staff was very friendly.

There were no parking options in the vicinity. All parking lots and spaces were full. We had to park at a friend's house. Also the bathroom could've been cleaner. I would've also appreciated a shampoo or at least a disposable hair cap.
