This hotel mirrors the idea authentic Italian hospitality, it really does. It's clean, quiet, comfortable, with all the essential facilities. It is a bit old fashioned, but in a good way. It's a genuine kind of Italian hotel. The staff are very kind and helpful. They let me keep the luggage at the hotel after checkout. Brilliant location. If you eat most foods, the breakfast buffet looks really nice, there's plenty of choice for omnivores.

There are only a few vegan options for breakfast. The bathroom and shower were ok for me, but they would be very challenging for people with higher BMI and claustrophobia.

Stayed in single room, but plenty of space. Basic layout as expected, but with airco and small but well designed bathroom. Breakfast ok, very Italian with lots of sweet pasties. But toast with ham, cheese and also muesli available. Location excellent, staff is helpful, also with sorting out street parking at low cost.

Bed was a bit on the hard side, old fashioned spring matras. Not a big deal though, well worth the price, great value for money.

Hotel Europa has a fantastic location, just steps from the castle and the old town. There are a lot of buses coming from the train station and the bus stop is oppostite the hotel, very easy to find. The room was quiet, clean and the breakfast excellent. The staff were nice, the price reasonable, I would stay there again.

Nice and comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was typical but very good Italian with a particularly good selection of pastries. Location is very good, being just across the road from the edge of the Old Town. My room was a little dated but the wi-fi and aircon worked. I would stay there again.

This hotel is centrally located and has one big bonus: it's own secure parking facility. As we were en route after a prolonged stay in Italy we had plenty of luggage, so the knowledge that we could safely leave some of our luggage in the car was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room (with beautiful ceiling fresco's) was very comfortable and clean with a large, well equipped bathroom. Next door is the wonderful pasticceria Europa (part of the hotel) where you can have also have a drink and nice appetizers after a long day of sightseeing.

Our room faced the street which is very busy and therefore noisy. Although we prefer to sleep with the windows open, after closing them we didn't hear a sound anymore and it was blissfully quiet. It's that or bring earplugs.

Excellent location: you can see Castello Estense when you walk out of the lobby and the other museums and sights were within walking distance. I enjoyed the ambiance of this hotel and the breakfast offerings were always tasty. Delicious cappuccino!

Nice hotel in a monumental building. Some things were a littlebit old fashion with the roomkeys and some utilities but all was just fine and working! I had a solo room it was spacious but the bathroam was somewhat tiny but it was all therre. Lovely breakfast with nice snacks from the backery/cafe Europa. The location is perfect just across from the city centre and castle. Would certainly be going again if i am around!

The location is perfect, especially for parking your car. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The building is old and well preserved, and decorated in a classic style. My room and everywhere in the premises were clean. The bed was comfortable.

Beautiful feature building right in the town centre with car park inside. Spacious and comfortable family bedroom well air conditioned (essential with 36 degrees outside in mid June). Nice breakfast and friendly waitress.

We were not welcomed at our arrival and rather were bluntly asked why we parked in the hotel car park without booking our spot beforehand. we explained that the booking process on Booking.com did not include any field to click for car park and that we were happy to pay for whatever the cost was. Without the sign of a smile, the receptionist said ‘you’re lucky that we’re not full in the car park ‘. We found that arrogant and unwelcoming.

Excellent location, only 100 m from the marvelous Old Town district where several main attractions are located. Friendly and helpful staff, spacious and quiet room, very good breakfast, and all that at an excellent room rate. This hotel is really value for money.
