Loved the decor and open feeling to the rooms. Breakfast was good. Staff was very attentive. Bathrooms were clean.

Would have liked an earlier breakfast time (7:30am vs 8:00am). We had tours that started early and it would have been nice to get a coffee before we headed out. It was a bit of a hike to get up to the hotel each day (many flights of stairs).

Brother owners are excellent hosts! Great location, very clean, lovely breakfast, soundproofed quiet rooms. Spacious rooms and good value! This was a great property and the nicest staff.

Breakfast hours could be earlier for days when you have tours. Didn’t understand that you need to be specific about arrival because building can’t be accessed without the owner meeting you outside the first time. Lots of steps to entry (elevator beyond first level). The rooms are part of a wing in a commercial building which is not an issue but explains the access and elevator aspects. Also, staff not on hand 24/7 but owners are available by text with rapid responses for any questions.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in Canto degli Aranci and it was truly a remarkable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality that made me feel right at home. The room was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options that catered to all tastes. The host was friendly and knowledgeable about the area, offering great recommendations for local attractions and dining. The room I had was rather dark because of the window, which was inside the building so not much sun could get into the room. Because of that „inside window” you can hear really everything in other apartments in the building (even the phone ringing and all conversation). In one of the apt lives - I am sure - very friendly dog., who likes to bark, one morning started before 7am… great alarm clock ;)

I traveled to Florence with family at the beginning of July. The host was very helpful with changing our dates due to our flight cancelation. Im grateful for that. He communicated with us prior to reaching the property and met with us to show us the room. The location of property is great, very close to center. Just a short walk from main center and restaurants. The room was great, clean and brand new. It had just been renovated. The breakfast was great, good selection and the lady was very helpful with our food choices. Overall I had a great experience and I strongly recommend Canto degli Aranci.

Communication with the owner throughout my stay was exceptional; they were always available to answer questions and offer recommendations, making me feel truly welcomed and valued as a guest. The breakfast served each morning was a delightful assortment of local delicacies, providing the perfect start to a day of exploring Florence. The location of the B&B couldn't have been more convenient, with all the major tourist sites within a comfortable 10-20 minute walk. This allowed me to immerse myself fully in the beauty and history of the city without worrying about long commutes. One feature that stood out was the accessibility of the property. There is an elevator conveniently located from the first floor, which made moving luggage a breeze. Speaking of which, the owner kindly assisted me with my suitcase upon arrival and even arranged for a taxi during check-out, demonstrating a level of hospitality that goes above and beyond. The rooms themselves were spacious and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing. As someone who occasionally works remotely, having a dedicated desk was incredibly helpful, and the stable WiFi connection allowed me to attend video conferences without any issues. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Canto degli Aranci to anyone visiting Florence. Whether you're traveling for leisure or business, the combination of excellent service, prime location, and comfortable accommodations make it an ideal choice. I look forward to returning and experiencing more of what this charming B&B has to offer.

We loved everything from our welcome to the day we left. Flavio greeted us on the bottom floor and helped our family with our luggage. He said "give me your two heaviest bags!" and he carried them up a flight of stairs to the elevator, which took us to the floor where we found the most welcoming, fresh and appealing facility. This bed and breakfast made us say "wow!" Clean, modern and well appointed. Very modern and comfortable, from the lobby and breakfast room, to our room, which they had prepared with two comfy fold down beds for our daughters, and a super comfy master bedroom for my husband and I. The a/c worked great! Breakfast of assorted pastries and cakes, also hand made coffees were a treat! The neighborhood was so perfect for us to do all we wanted by foot. Restaurants (Trattoria Verdi for the best florentine steak!), a cat cafe and Vivoli for famous gelato/affagato within just a couple hundred feet! We would love to stay here again!

This could be just because we are new to this kind of travel- but If you are toting much luggage, prepare to use a bit of muscle to negotiate up that first flight of stairs- But it seems to be a pretty common occurance in the area. To be fair- our host's assistance and the elevator from the 2nd floor to the B&B on the 3rd floor really helped! And we quickly made peace with this once we got our fantastic welcome from Flavio, and got to our beautiful room!

Flavio, the manager, is fantastic! He’s incredibly helpful, accommodating, and charming. We shared our circling experience trying to return a rental car. He told us Florence has a traffic congestion pricing system for non residents. If you have a specific hotel destination, the hotel must arrange a pass or you will incur a fine. He went out of his way to ensure that our getting lost in Florence would not cost us! He also called the rental car agency to obtain our car’s plate number. He went out of his way to assist us and make sure we were not fined. We had an inside room and it was extremely quiet. No street noise! The room was larger than most with a sitting area adjacent to the bedroom. Housekeeping was meticulous. The staff at breakfast were friendly and gracious. We look forward to a return visit!

Flavio, the host, is incredible! He was always accessible, whether in person or by phone. We felt instantly at ease thanks to his warm hospitality. The room was spacious with comfortable beds, and we received fresh towels and cleaning services daily. The breakfast was excellent, offering a great variety, and the staff were very accommodating with our food and coffee preferences. The location is perfect—secluded from heavy crowds but still close to everything. Highly recommended!

Messages before arrival from our host, arranging our arrival. Greeted exceptionally well, made very welcome. Requests for little items to help our stay always met with friendly and positive response. Room was larger than expected, comfy bed, exceptionally clean and bed made/towels changed every day for a 3 night stay which we did not expect but appreciated. Communal area was lovely, light and airy, breakfast room was very well set out, simply but with a little style, with excellent continental breakfast choices available and additional effort to accommodate a Coeliac which again is always greatly appreciated. A great location, both for the day and evening. Easy walking distance of all the places you would likely wish to visit regards the tourist trail. Our host also provided us with some excellent suggestions of local smaller places to eat, where the ambiance and food was distinctly Tuscan, and all within 10-15 mins stroll. Upon leaving, we checked out but were left with access to the Hotel for safe storage of luggage for our last few hours in the city, allowing us to see out the trip without the need to carry bags for the last couple of hours, then collect and head to the train station. Flavio was a wonderful host. Great place to stay, excellent value for money.
