We had an issue with getting locked out, but they said they were going to make it right by removing the one night, the taxes & the car parking fee’s. I wait for this to be processed as they said they have to get paid by booking.com first. I’m sure they will follow through. The staff could not be more accommodating at the front desk to correct the nightmare. I would definitely go back.

Staff & the kitchen staff. I think the food was 6 our of 10, they could have better fruit like cantaloupe & some different pastries, and the eggs got cold too fast. Otherwise it was palatable .

The hotel is a gorgeous elegant villa in a perfect location. Parking is available at a very reasonable rate. The breakfast is wonderful with extensive options and wonderful staff. Our room, on the first floor had 20'ceilings, chandelier, and a private patio. Super comfortable beds. I highly recommend this hotel. It exceeded every expectation of a hotel with this rating as well as many with a higher rating. Will definitely book for our next trip to Florence.

The only drawback is there's no elevator to the second floor. They will help with luggage. If stairs are not a problem you walk a gorgeous staircase for breakfast or your room if on the second floor.

When I arrived at the hotel, I was taken aback that the furniture seemed old and in need of refurbishing and that the keys were huge and literally the old key locks. However, I was quickly won over by the cleanliness of the room and kindness of the hotel staff - who made every attempt at serving me wonderfully. The breakfast was very good, my room had wonderful space, and the hotel is nestled in a wonderful neighborhood!

I found Wifi difficult in my room and it could have been where my room was situated. My sister, who was on the opposite side of the hotel did not have computer problems, so likely location.

Beautiful house and interiors. Spectacular staircase to breakfast room. Attentive staff. Warm welcome. Clean, spacious bedroom and bathroom. Excellent, healthy and generous breakfast included within surprisingly low price for such a special hotel.

Nothing at all to dislike here. Quite outstanding value for money.

Great Location. Walking distance to all the sights. Beautiful old Villa. Tastefully decorated. Preferred this to a modern hotel. Helpful staff. Good breakfast.

If I was picky there were 2 things that could be improved: Had to take key with me as there is no one at reception desk after midnight. And the TV in room is very small. But there is so much to do in Florence I did not do much TV watching.

Beautiful Florentine style villa. Our room was on the ground floor with painted high ceiling, private small garden and comfy bed. The whole place is amazing. The staff is friendly. The rooms were very clean and towels changed daily. You can reach Santa Maria del Fiore or Palazzo Vecchio and Uffizi Gallery by foot in around 15-20 mins and the Santa Maria Novella train station in around 25-30 mins. The breakfast was good and served in a beautiful Florentine set-up. The only issue was that a lot of people would go to breakfast after 8:30am and empty most of the trays and the refill was a little slow. But if you go to brekfast earlier you should be good. I strongly recommend this place if you want to experience Florence in the right way.

Breakfast was AMAZING!! We stayed at several locations during our trip to Italy and this was the best and most varied breakfast hands down!

It was really hot when we were there and the air conditioning in our room was set too warm - there are no individual controls to adjust temperature. It was tolerable however and probably wouldn't have been an issue if we weren't there during the heatwave of the century!

Spacious apartment, separate sleeping areas for kids and parents, beds were comfortable, shower water pressure/heat was great, bathroom was very clean, wifi was good, very reasonably priced parking available on site (through a back entrance). An excellent breakfast was served each morning in a charming room and included fruit, meats and cheeses, breads, pastries, juices, yogurt, granola, eggs, and hot chocolate served until 10am. Great start to the day!

The walk to the Duomo was 15-20 minutes but seemed a lot longer coming back in the evening! Mini fridge didn't cool. AC unit in the bedroom didn't reach the other sleeping area. Decor that wasn't antique was a bit outdated (dusty fake flowers, old chair cushions).

very nice. it was very boutique like. It was a converted home that was split into rooms for a hotel. Excellent breakfast that was included with fee. Staff was very nice

it is a bit far from the city center. Also it was a little more expensive than it should have been for its look and location. Wish breakfast was available until 10 am
