It is modest, but that’s its strength. We were staying (my daughter and I) to exhibit at Pitti Fragranze, nearby, so the location was perfect. The cleanliness of the room was spotless and the snack breakfast bar was modest but perfectly yummy and more so as our colleagues who spent significantly more on their hotels were not able to partake in their hotel breakfast and did not enjoy the selection of yummies and teas etc that were available at Tiffany. Tiffany are very generous in that regard. Others get just one or two teabags and coffee capsules in their rather expensive rooms, whereas we had loads (and well thought out yummies and treats) to ‘grab and go.’ So I am left with a great feeling of value and an understanding of convenience. Whether you are a tourist or a business delegate, Tiffany makes you feel ‘hi at home’ once you arrive and once upon return you take the keys from your pocket and walk over the threshold. There’s a nice little private garden outside too BTW. It may not be palatial, but when you turn the key, you relax, which may be what you crave. It’s a good, honest, well presented and very lovely place, not sterile with carp ponds, fountains and ‘sun rooms’ that are devoid of guests—but full of heart. This is no better personified than by the lovely Marta who coordinates the bookings, check ins and outs and goodness knows how much else—who looked after me and my daughter when our modest flight from London turned into a 19hr ordeal, meaning check in was after hours. She send videos to walk us through and recommended local places to eat etc. she’s ’one of life’s good ones’ as they say. She really didn’t have to, but I sense that she is the perfect lady to have taken us under her wing and enjoyed being a good soul. A difficult day suddenly changed with Martha and Tiffany into a ‘thank you’ day. Plus I got to tell my daughter (she’s a grown up btw) that we’d had ‘breakfast at Tiffany’s’ (Dad joke, sorry)!

For those seeking scandi-style modern decor and twinkling fountains in expansive courtyards—then Tiffany may not be for them. It’s not a ‘corporate venue’ but it doesn’t pretend to be. It is Italy. Coming from the UK and born in rural England but living in London, there are ‘horses for courses’ and Tiffany is just great in that respect. There are lots of swanky hotels on offer in Florence, but after a hard day’s graft (sightseeing or lecturing) it’s nice hit the pillow somewhere where you aren’t just a number but feel somehow valued above that. My opinion is that Tiffany was absolutely ideal for me and my daughter. So accommodating. Maybe it’s not everyone’s Cup of Tea, but then again some people don’t like fresh tomatoes but will readily squirt ketchup until the bottle is empty.

We only stayed for one day in Florence, but this hotel met nearly all of our expectations. Although they do not have breakfast, snacks and coffee are provided instead. The host, Marta, is very lovely and friendly. She provided us with a lot more information that is helpful for tourists to discover the city in a short duration of stay, including the map, walk routes, the restaurants and street foods, etc. You can walk to most of the sights in 20 mins. Additionally, the railway station is also near here, within a 7-minute walk. (If you have heavy luggage with you, try to find the lifts instead of going downstairs at the nearest entrance; it was painful)

We liked the size of the room and the bed was very comfortable. Marta was very helpful with directions for things to do and see. The bathroom was great too with lots of counter space and a big shower. Big cupboard for clothes. Convenient walk to the train station.

We were disappointed that there was so little on offer for breakfast. The crackers were nice but a bit of fruit would have been most welcome. Also some medium sized tea cups…there were either demitasse cups or huge cups. A tiny complaint really. It was quite a walk to anywhere to have a quick drink or meal.

Franco and his wife were superb host! He addressed every question pre-trip and made sure all our concerns were addressed once on the property and provided a excellent quick marked up map of Florence with things to do. He also provided excellent restaurant recommendations. The location is ideal for walking to Florence; very close. The room size was larger than we needed. The shower was tight but I rather enjoyed it - all the water dumping on my head felt great. Access was easy. Parking options were thoroughly explained and utilized. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. We'd rather eat out to get the total Italian experience so the coffee/tea bar was great; it met our late night tea / snack cravings.

Nothing to report

I liked this hotel a lot. It is small but so nice. Marta is amazing and hospitable. I liked communication with her a lot. There is small inner yard - it is amazing to have breakfast or drink coffee there. There lives nice black cat in this yard - it is also nice feature of this hotel. In dining room you can find coffee/tea, biscuits, jam/nutella, cups/plates and even microwave. We have spent amazing 2 nights there and will definitely come back.

Mosquitoes - but this is not hotel’s fault. These insects are outside (in the yard) and bite you. Therefore it would be great to have repellent with you.

Martha was really lovely and so helpful! She gave me many recommendations for best places in Florence that are not too touristy, she also went out of her way to help me find transport to go to the airport really early in the morning. Have really enjoyed my stay at Relais Tiffany.

I came a little early than I expected however there was no one at the reception when I arrived, so I had to wait around 30 minutes in front of the hotel in the summer! This is understandable given that this is a small B&B, however you might want to notify the team of your accurate time of arrival to avoid the confusion.

The location is very near to the station, so if you need to visit Pisa or Bologna, for example, it would be the best. The host, Marta, is very sweet and available. She will recommend the best views and restaurants in town. The room was very big and in typical Florencic style. It brings amazing atmosphere. The breakfast is not included, but there are sweets, coffee, and tea left for you at any time you need. All in all, we had a great experience in Florence thanks to all listed above.

The location was perfect, close to both the tram lines and train station and a short walk from the town centre. Marta, the host, was very helpful checking in. We arrived later than the check in desk being open but we were sent instructions on the check in process via WhatsApp and it was easy to access our rooms after this. Would love to visit again someday and would defo recommend staying here!

The service was spectacular, Marta was a very friendly and helpful person. She even txt us recommendations, we try some and they were great! Thank you Marta!!! The place is very clean and tidy. Train station it’s just less than 10 minutes from the B&B and tram and bus station it’s less than 3 minutes. Tram from and to airport stop it’s 2 minutes from B&B.

My only recommendation, the twin bed is too narrow, maybe a little wider twin bed would be perfect!

Relais Tiffany is in a great location for exploring Florence and is close to the train station too if you're travelling. The room was comfortable and clean with AC and water, tea and coffee provided. Antonella was super helpful and sent through a list of recommendations beforehand including where to eat, drink etc. She also helped us plan how to get to our next destination in Italy and was really flexible with us when it came to leaving our bags after check out time. We would highly recommend!
