This place is absolutely beautiful! It’s a cozy house with a cute interior. The room was very comfortable, there was everything we needed. The bathroom is shared between guests but it was clean and pretty comfortable. The breakfast was nice, a little bit of everything. The staff was great and helpful as well. The location was good, it took us about 20-30 minutes to walk to the main sights. There’s also a bus spot not far away so you could use public transport if you don’t feel like walking. But for us it was a real pleasure to enjoy the views and explore Florence outside of the main sights. The owner also has everything very well organised, there’s a home book with all the information you could need on the property and city. Thank you very much for creating such a magical place! It definitely made our Florence trip even more memorable! ❤️

The Residenza Cecchi team made our stay in Florence an absolute dream. The house itself was beautiful, from the entry way to the dining room and the rooms themselves. Everything was spotless and the breakfast in the morning was incredible. Irene and her team went the extra mile for my daughter and me when we had early starts and missed breakfast hours, and coming back from a busy day in central Florence to a beautiful home on a quiet street was wonderful. Getting to town was simple by the number 23 bus from the stop 1minute walk away and only cost €1.50 to travel to the heart of Florence. We would recommend Residenza Cecchi to all those visiting Florence.

We loved everything :)

In a vintage decoration, we felt in a cocoon. Comfortable, very clean and friendly our days there were great! Florence is a city that we loved and walked a lot to see all the museums. So, it was a relief really to know that in the end of the day we were going to our cute bedroom to rest. In the morning, the breakfast was like when you grandmother wants to pleases you, at least it was my sensation, I had the same felling when I was a child and she used to prepared the amazing table with delicious food. Anyway, It had everything we like in quality. Thank you Irene for that lovely experience!

Sparkling clean, spacious historical home. our room fitted a couple and a teenager comfortably- it was huge! Comfy warm beds, daily cleaning service- honestly I have never stayed somewhere so clean. We stayed in autumn, but it has a/c and heating. A delicious breakfast was supplied each morning which we didn’t plan to have but it was so YUM we did- every day. Irene who runs it is so lovely- she was always ready to offer help.

The property was a bit of a walk from the town centre which we got used to. But do take a taxi with your bags from the train station- a couple of kms of cobblestones is longer than it sounds.

Self-service was lovely and English translations were offered around the b&b. Staff were kind and helpful when approached. Other guests were polite and considerate of shared bathroom and designated quiet hours. Breakfast is well stocked. Bedroom spacious and simplistic.

Not a fan of the bedding, a duvet between two sheets, the top of which was a little itchy but easily solved by tuck and folding the undersheet to be on top. Rest of the bed was lovely, though 4 pillows was excessive given how large each one was (one was comfy enough)

Amazing, nice, clean, home-like and comfortable accommodation. Owner is really nice, provided us will neccesery information. Rooms and bathrooms were really clean, felt like they are completely new. Old house has its own wibe. We liked also 2 cats living in the building. Also sitting in the garden was amazing and peaceful. Breakfast were very good, also with selection of lactose free milks

There were not a lot of shops and restaurants nearby the apartment, but with a bus it was just about 15-20 minutes from the city center, so it was not a problem.

Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety to choose (considering it's only 4 room B&B). Coffee machine could be used throughout the day which was a nice surprise. There were also some fruits left in kitchen for guests. Rooms were roomy and clean. Comfort bed with proper linen. Very pleasant balcony where we enjoyed our afternoon espressos (and wine :)) ).

Room doors could be more soundproof.

Our host was very atentious and the quality of the furniture in the bathroom and decoration options along with the products in the breakfast were amazing. Excellent location outside the very touristic area of Firenze and access to very good restaurants in < 5 min walk.

The acustic isolation is not optimal but this is due to the building structure (historical building), so there is not much to do about it. Further, the host's beautiful cat did not show up in the second day at breakfast, we loved him/her! :D

This is a lovely BnB residence and Irena was a wonderful host. She was easily contactable and gave us the best local pasta restaurant reccomendation! She set out a great breakfast each morning, with options for sweet and savoury. She even made us a take away breakfast one morning when we had to leave really early! The residence was very well cleaned and in great condition, looks exactly like the photos. Its a little out of the city center which is nice and peaceful, but there are several bus stops close by to make getting into town easy. You can also walk in 30mins if you so wish.

We were ravaged by mosquitos during the first night, they get into the room even though all the windows are shut. However after contacting Irena she told us about the wall plugs which deter them, and it worked perfectly the rest of the time.

Irene has poured her heart and soul into this beautiful family home that is now a B&B! Top notch hospitality from Irene as your host, to the most comfy beds and pillows! Breakfast was delicious and the coffee/tea/water is available anytime. We arrived before check in and were able to leave our bags while we toured Firenze. Dinner suggestions were great and we had a fabulous pasta dinner nearby and walked along the river afterwards. Public transit is easily accessible or you can walk downtown within 15mins. We highly recommend Residenza Cecchi to anyone visiting Florence/Firenze as it's known in Italy!

My only wish is that we could have stayed longer, and though it wasnt an issue at all, I'm not fond of shared washrooms which some of the rooms do have. Irene also wouldn't let me keep Cici in my room overnight! 😊
