Very clean rooms, daily cleaning was done very thoroughly; heating was working well; shower was a good size; hot water always; enough towels; verz friendly staff; great location - 25 min of walk from the city; nicely decorated rooms. Overall very good place to stay!

I could have used warmer blankets - there was an additional provided in the wardrobe. The heating system was very loud if you wanted to heat up quickly. Sound isolation between rooms could be better. Security with the room keys could be better - after leaving the room, you are requied to leave the keys at the reception, however on coming back, we were not asked for identification when taking our keys. Although, we assume they knew us as we were one of the few guests in the hotel at the time.

It's not far from city centre, around 20 min walk or take a bus 6. Room was large enough for two people. Staff at the property were nice and accommodate us with all requests. It's old style hotel that has it charms.

Shower not strong enough to wash long hair. Toilet started to smell by the time we left in four days, even with cleaner coming every day. Guests that arriving at midnight upstairs were noisy. Someone already made a comment about cash payment for Tax, I have found it strange too, why card is not accepted unless it's nothing really to do with Tax. Somehow it's very common in Italy.

Very cute and rustic hotel with a friendly family feel. Close to bus stops for easy access to the city centre as the hotel is about a 30-40 minute walk away but even walking isn’t too bad. I also loved our balcony with views onto the street below!

Unfortunately the breakfast service is temporarily closed but it allowed us to try many of the outstanding coffee shops around Florence so it wasn’t particularly an issue but it would have been nice.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. There was a big window with a mosquito barrier. The decor was simple but very attractive. The style seemed classical Italian. It was very clean. All the staff were very courteous and helpful. The atmosphere was welcoming and homely.

I liked everything but it was surprising they didn't offer breakfast. However there are plenty reasonably priced cafes around so this wasn't a problem.

That is a nice hotel located walking distance from the historical center. It's a quieter district, so the tourists are not swarming around. Everything was clean and reasonably well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful In addition there is an open-air area with food-trucks and drinks nearby and a nice bakery 1 minute down the street.

Some breakfast options would be nice. There were only soft pillows available.

The hotel is charming. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was on a quiet street and we slept well each night. The mini-bar was generously stocked & very reasonably priced. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The housekeeping was attentive. We were able to walk to all the sites we wanted to visit. We would stay here again.

Every staff member we met were friendly and cordial. Great places to eat nearby and a supermarket just about 10 minutes away. Multiple bus stops nearby made travelling around easy. Felt very safe. Big bonus was that they arranged for a free pickup from the airport to the hotel.

Shower was on the small size but adequate. Our expectations were set correctly before we arrived by reading many reviews.

Good location, hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly. It was easy to get to the main tourist attractions and the nearby restaurants and shops were good, bank atm's also in area to avoid commission fees. Hotel stored our bags after checkout which was much appreciated.

At first, the heater of the room wasn't working but receptionists were very kind and helpful. They solved the problem immidiately. The room was wide and clean. There is also a balcony. You can leave your luggages before check-in and after check-out.

It was a little out of town. And the heating of the room wasn't enough.

The owner was very nice. The hotel has an antique feel but very well kept. For the price paid I think it was fair. I read other reviews before coming and I think people want a luxury hotel with all the bells and whistles when they aren't willing to pay for it.. This hotel is priced correctly and it's a good option if you plan on really exploring Florence and need a place to sleep.

The location is about a 30minute walk from the center of town but it was expected since all the other hotel prices in town were at least double or more. The AC in the room either did not make the room very cold or I didn't know how to work it. Also, the wifi was not working during my stay but the owner was very nice and found me a place nearby to use Wifi and even gave me a free beer. Very nice gentlemen.
