We recently spent two nights at this lovely hotel. Check-in was very easy at their sister hotel as we arrived a little later than planned. We met Federica and she is such a lovely, warm, welcoming woman. It was my birthday so she upgraded our room which was a really kind gesture. The location was great for us. The rooftop is wonderful both day and night. As a female travelling with my teenage daughter, we felt very safe which is important to me. We did not hear any noise from our room which was the room with steps to a mezzanine level. I requested an iron and ironing board and it was left in our room while we were out so was ready for us when we got back. The cleaning was of a high standard with lovely white fresh towels every day. Loved the shower in our bathroom! Check-out was easy too. We left our luggage in the sister hotel where it was tagged and looked after until we collected it later in the day. We spend a lot of time in Florence, normally in an Airbnb, but now we will always stay here every time. Top tip. Instead of instinctively turning left when leaving the building to go into the historical centre, turn right. In a few steps you will find a lovely caffe on the corner of Piazza San Marco. Absolutely nothing!

We had a truly wonderful stay at the Residenza Conte di Cavour. We would rate our experience a solid 10 out of 10! We were very satisfied with the comfort of the rental, the warm and welcoming hospitality, and the impeccable cleanliness of the property. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. There is honestly nothing we can think of that could have improved our stay — everything was perfect. Your kindness and attentiveness made our experience even more memorable. Thank you so much for making our time in Florence so special. We would love to return in the future, and we will gladly recommend your beautiful residence to others.

We loved the location because it was near everything while still being tucked back to give it a more local feel. The staff was incredible!! We checked in late at the other venue & I wish we got her name (she was from Buenos Aries) but she was SO friendly and helpful! She spent at least fifteen minutes giving us local recommendations, advice for navigating the city & helpful tips. The room was also stocked with nice amenities like toiletries, coffee, and tea.

There was very little we didn’t like! The bathroom was a bit small with a leaky bidet but this is a very minor critique and had zero impact on our opinion of the hotel.

Although the hotel is not the classic, 5 star experience you would expect, it's a lovely hotel with a lot of character. The location is brilliant, very central and close to the Galleria dell’Accademia, and about 10 minutes from the Florence Cathedral. It's in an old building, and feels like a bunch of apartments rather than your regular Hilton. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, and it was spotless. It was a lovely stay and we had a great time. Each room had a coffee machine and kettle, which was great.

Maybe some breakfast services would have been nice, but there are lovely cafés opposite. The lift in the building also felt a bit scary at times!

Super cute! Great location. Nice bathroom. Loft with adorable tiny spiral staircase. Walkable to train station and most attractions. Personable, friendly helpful host. Would book again. Great experience overall.

My partner is very tall and hit his head on a beam. Not many electrical outlets—he sleeps with medical device—but it’s an old building. He thought the mattress wasn’t too comfortable but I loved it—firm. Very nice sheets. No cream/milk for coffee, but these are tiny little things. Not important. Would recommend.

Our stay at the hotel in Florence was absolutely delightful! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The hotel itself was stunning, with elegant decor and comfortable accommodations. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the city. The staff were incredibly attentive. The location was also ideal, situated in the heart of Florence with easy access to all the major attractions.

There were road reconstructions on the street where the hotel was located, which caused some inconvenience. Additionally, upon our arrival at 18:00, we discovered that the reception in our hotel had already closed for the day. As a result, we had to go to another hotel for check-in, which was a bit inconvenient. Despite these minor setbacks, the overall experience at the hotel was still enjoyable.

I had a wonderful stay at the Residenza Conte di Cavour & Rooftop! The location is excellent—close to all the major sights, making it easy to explore the city. The price is fair for the quality and service you receive. The front desk girl (sorry, I forgot her name) was incredibly nice and friendly, always ready to help with a smile. One of the highlights was the kitchen area, where there were a coffee machine, water fountain and fresh fruit available in the morning—such a thoughtful touch. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Florence!

My special thank you goes to personnel, who allowed me to checkin earlier. It is always a pleasure when despote rules staff goes toward! room is always clean, with the view to the street. Location -Amazing, walk distance to all Significant places, Restaraunts nearby (one trattoria is located just nearby entrance to the property). note- there was regular live Music nearby (piazza san Marco)- For me it was a positive thing, for those who love Silence and goes sleep early that might be a bit disturbing. Also big advantage for these who is travelling with luggage is that property has elevator. Usually in historical city (and this place is not an exception) are extremely high ceilings and room on.2nd floor already becomes a huge challenge. Breakfast is quite simple (Coffee, croisants etc, boiled eggs, salami , cheese)- but i really savus your time and gives you energy to start exploring the city asap.

I would prefer soap and shampoo in dispanser, Than tinu packages with tiny daily soap doses.

Location was fantastic. The room & bathroom were clean and comfortable.

Not knowing about the car parking issue ahead of time. It was very challenging to get the car situation dealt with and would not have brought a car to Firenze had we known the challenge or opted for a hotel that had car parking. We were coming from a place that we had to have a car to get around. The front desk lady at the other hotel (for check in after 3pm) was very accommodating and built trust that our car would be taken by valet and returned to us at either location (depending on what time we needed the car and our bags). It all worked out very well and they helped us bring our bags out to the car parked outside by the valet.

Everything-the room (#136) was light filled and the bathroom large. Also located right near the rooftop sitting area, which was lovely. There was a lift which was helpful when going up 4 floors. Federica was enormously helpful.

We arrived around 6pm and didn't recall the after 3pm check in instructions- it was all very frustrating. During our stay, we met two other couples with the same problem- even though the neighboring hotel around the block wasn't too far, we had all our bags with us and it was a really inconvenient. Check in. We finally figured it out and Andre was very helpful in the other hotel. I would suggest someone on-site for checking until 6 or maybe even 8pm.
