Great place to stay if you visit Florence by car. Rooms and place had a vintage vibe with lots of attention to details Breakfast stuff, lady was really kind and helped us with information

We know it might not be related to the property itself - but it's an area full of mosquitoes, so it was a little bit uncomfortable. Maybe updating / cleaning the garden area would help a little bit Parking was 5 euros per day - maybe they can include it in the stay price and making it free or leave it free as it's a private property, so it doesn't really make sense to pay parking separately l The remote of the air conditioning was taken from our room in the morning, and there was no one available in the afternoon to ask for it - especially when we came back from the city after a long hot day

Breakfast was excellent, and generous. We loved the music from the record player, the open doors to the garden, and your wonderful waitress who came from Brazil... she couldn't have been more helpful or charming. She is such a great asset to Villa Ape Rosa. The Villa was in a pleasant and quiet area of Firenze, and getting the transport from Leopoldo in and out of City Centre was easy. But we found the walk back uphill to the Villa steep and difficult. The Villa was charming, and full of character.

We would have liked a kettle, two coffee mugs and two glasses. So we could have made our own tea and coffee, and glasses to drink water.

Lovely big room, comfy bed. Beautiful setting and gardens. Friendly staff. Private parking (bit tight getting in through the gates). Good location for getting into central Florence by tram. Some lovely restaurants nearby....

The hydro-massage pool doesn't look like it's been used in a while and now more of a garden feature and the changing rooms are in decay. Disappointed as we planned to use it. Not very well sign posted and easy to miss,at the top of a hill on a 1 way street. Because of the steep hill, walking down to get the tram is fine, but a killer climbing back up in a hot day. We had a shower only and it was small.

Wow!! Where should I start. Allright so location was perfect. Just a bit out of the city center, quiet, serene, peaceful and felt just like a King in the Villa. I was driving so it worked out perfect for me. If you are traveling by transit then it might be slightly away from the city center. By walk, it will take you around 45 mins and by bus it will take you around 20-30 mins. By car, around 10 mins. Host was flexible with the check out times. Simply loved the whole experience. Furniture is rustic/antique which gives the look of 18th century. Def will be coming back.

We loved our stay here. It was a great experience staying in a villa that dated back to the 17th century! Embrace the fact that it is a vintage style hotel and that is the beauty of it. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The shower was great. There is air conditioning in the rooms but we requested a fan as well. The location was close enough to the center of Florence that we could walk but if we were tired then transit was super easy and came often. The staff were AMAZING and so warm and welcoming! We felt like we were staying with family. They made us amazing cappucinos every day and we would sit outside in the gardens. Lovely.

The resort is a typical Italian villa located in a quiet and leafy area. It's definitely got character. My room was spacious and with a nice view overlooking the park. The place is at around 15-20 min walk from the closest tram station (Il Poggetto). There is also a bus (no 55) from the tram station to the resort, but it's not very frequent. Altogether allow 40-45 min to/from Santa Maria Novella railway station (tram + bus or tram + walk.)

There was no breakfast during the time of my stay, which was unfortunate. Hope they fix this. The external garden is nice, but needs some renovation.

An oasis of quietude, beautiful garden. Fairly close to town center, not a very short walk but well connected via tramway. QUIET and silent. Friendly and helpful staff. Scanty breakfast, a couple of -good- muffins but all the tea and coffee that one may desire. Furnished kitchen in the apartment, though, so I could have prepared myself anything. Good honest price if compared to some drab facilities in the center that cost three times as much. Loved it, thank you.

Very nice old building with carefully created details. Secured parking behind the gate and nice garden where we had breakfast. Our host was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with eggs made to order and Italien music from an old record player. Everything very Italien and a great experience for our family visiting from the US. The town is about a 45 minute walk, or by inexpensive train 4 stops away.

It's rare for me not to have anything to complain about - the place was stylish, beautiful, clean and in a great, calm neighborhood. Bed and pillows were comfy. Breakfast was really nice. We needed to depart early - without us asking - the host prepared our breakfast and delivered it to our rooms the day prior. The garden was lovely as well.

Loved the villa itself, beautiful and after the bustle of the centre it was a peaceful haven. It was very quiet, it was as if we had the villa to ourselves. The room was beautiful, our host was attentive. She even gave my daughter a dolls house to play with during our stay. Easy to get to the centre using the tram and liked the virtual key system.

The mossies! But the villa do provide mossie racquets.
