Size of the room was fantastic ,bathroom was small but functional,bar fridge was great and our water was replaced daily ,including sparkling water. Walking distance to everything. Taxi from main train station was 20 euro,taxi to brignole station 10 euro,all taxi drivers were great. Self check in was easy. We hardly saw anyone else which made it feel like we had the place to ourselves,so it was wonderfully quiet😊 Views of the church from the lounge / reception area where we sat and had a glass of wine . If you like interacting with lots of people then not the place for you ,but if you want peace and tranquility after lots of travel then it’s a perfect little stop .

The Palazzo Cicala is an amazing location in the center of Genoa. It was a fantastic booking from start to finish. The hotel's location couldn't be better - right in the heart of the city, close to all the major attractions and within walking distance to several key landmarks. Cleanliness is always a top priority, and this hotel exceeded all my expectations in that regard, everything was immaculate. The amenities in the room were also noteworthy. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep after long days of exploring the city. The Wi-Fi was reliable and fast. The room also had all the necessary amenities, such as a coffee maker, mini-fridge and everything inside the bathroom as well , ensuring a convenient and pleasant stay.

Location - right oposite.the cathedral The room was msssive with stuccoed ceilings It was homely. The housekeeper couldn't have been friendly.. One evening she brought me grapes and dolce when I was reading in the lounge! Free water ( sparkling and still), teas and coffee Spotlessly clean The bedroom had an efficient fan - a refreshing chsnge from aircon

There was work being undertaken to the ourside facade of the building ( Cicala only occupies one floor). Sometimes there was dust.

This is just an amazing option for those who love comfort, well balanced interior design, and old town vibes. It’s in my personal top 10 accommodations ever. I enjoyed every minute of my stay. Important to mention: super clean. Located on the Piazza San Lorenzo, my favourite in Genova. The cathedral is stunning like the piazza itself. Will definitely come back

Very big and confortable room. Excellent location - very central but quite. Many original features from the Palazzo.

Although we arrived during reception hours, no one was there to meet us. Instructions left could be more precise, informing the lift also reached the ground floor - that would saved us to carry big suitcases up the magnificent entrance stairs!

It was palatial and had a breathtaking view of the cathedral. The host kindly accommodated me when I was afraid to do self checkin and had a member of the staff help me.

A very small thing but would have liked most instruction about how the shower worked.

Incredible palace of a hotel with great check in procedures- couldn’t recommend more thoroughly. You feel like a king

Be aware there is no parking and the Nearest a car can get is 5 minutes walk away. Even there, the parking is scarce and expensive

- Most of the city attractions could be reached by foot from the hotel, - Historical place to stay, decorated with interesting paintings, - Clean, with daily replenishment of water and coffee supplies

I did not understand where the water appeared on the floor after taking a shower. I think it was a temporary inconvenience, which didn't spoil my stay.

The rooms are enormous, I got a “single” room as a solo traveler and it’s bigger than my apartment in Paris. It also had huge windows with a great view and felt very Italian and unique: not just a random standard hotel. Also the cleaning woman was very kind and I constantly had cold water, coffee, tea and biscuits in my fridge.

No air conditioning, but welcome to europe. They did have a big ceiling fan and with the windows open it was perfectly fine

The hotel is in an old building in a historical area of Genova and the room with 5 meter high celings has great atmosphere to it, as well as the rest of the building. They provide minibar for free, what was very pleasant.

No breakfast service, but finally going out we could enjoy breakfast in the streets of Genova.
