Located within 5 mins of train station and on the corner of the main street. Easy access to all the amenities of La Spezia. Room large and spacious lovely ensuite, cleaned daily and complimentary water staff very attentive. Would highly recommend to anyone as a base for exploring Cinque terre.

Just a note It's on the third floor, it has a lift but anyone with mobility issues there are other accomadations in this building and people don't always close the lift properly. Had to climb the stairs a couple of nights. Certainly have nothing against this property loved my stay in Cinque Terre gateway..

This is a great location. Literally 4min from la spezia centrale. I looked and searched cinque terre and puerto venere and so glad I went with the cinque terre gateway. We came from Milan and had multiple delays. I informed the owner of our plans and emailed the property. He immediately responded and the day of travel, I was in constant communication with him. We arrived late..this is not a hotel. There is no reception. So the owner provided us with all the information for checkin. It went very smoothly. People who complained about the late arrival didn't read and contact the property with travel plans. We had water and tea kettle in our room. Beds were comfy and to be honest everything we needed. Pharmacy is close, port is close to even take a boar ride. Great restaurants to walk and eat at night. Thanka you Mike for everything. You made our visit very comfortable.

This hotel is just across the road from the La Spezia train station, making it a perfect lodging to start exploring the cinque terre. The property is nicely furnished with a homely feel. My room was very clean, and their service was very good. Very nice shampoo and shower gels are also provided. Staff are amazing, friendly and speedy. Breakfast was excellent. A wonderful idea to stay here and not drag your luggage to the towns of Cinque Terra.

The place is very charming and the staff was very welcoming. Rooms cleaningness is 5 stars and decoration is perfect. The pictures speak by themself. Breakfast was really special. Lots of restaurants around, shopping and hiking. We drove in from Rome and it was easy drive and hotel has a parking garage as well lots of other parking around. I can't imagine any other choice when visiting Cinque Terre. Great location and stay.

Very well located, few minutes walking from La Spezia station. A big room with a good shower. The staff is really welcoming and arrange everything to you to checkin earlier or leave your suitcases in the hotel before the checkin hours in case the room is not ready

The breakfast is an Italian breakfast and I don’t think it worths to pay in advance when you book the room or pay at the property. You can choose only one croissant with different flavors such as cream, plain, pistachio + one drink (hot chocolate, cafe or fruit juice)

We loved our room. It was spacious and very comfortable. The building is not a hotel. The rented rooms are on one floor of the building so it is quite confusing when you arrive. There is no reception to greet you but the manager was very responsive by WhatsApp. Once we got the hang of it we were fine and enjoyed our stay!

Great location for train access to the cinque Terra villages which were fantastic. Very good choice of restaurants etc.very close by Friendly, helpful and informative host. Room spacious and spotless Complementary water much appreciated.

Clean. Very good location to go to cinque terre. Parking needs a reservation. We parked at the train station but honestly if you don't have parking here just park on the street. We payed 52 euro for 2 nights parking at the train station.

Fantastic Apartment (not a hotel!) with incredibly clean, professional and spacious rooms. The location of the apartment on a large Piazza is maybe not in the most picturesque area of downtown La Spezia HOWEVER the rooms are fantastic and the location for Old City, Train station and ferry station is unbeatable. There is no better place to explore the city and the sightseeing places in a more clean and comfortable place!

It´s a bit tricky to find the apartment BUT when you read the very comprehensive description the owner of the apartments distributes, you have no problem. Suggestion 1: Book a parking space nearby as parking is very limited. Suggestion 2: Don´t be late for check-in (19:30 in our case) becuase the owner does charge you 75€ (as communicated by him upfront) if and when you are late (regardless the circumstances)...!

I liked that the property was within an easy walk from the train station. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was perfect and parking garage is across the street. I was amazed by the wonderful attention to detail and very friendly staff. Highly recommended.
