We had a spacious and warm two bedroom apartment just on the edge of the old town. We were able to park about 10 mins away and it was easy to pay with EasyPark. We were close to walk to all the sites. The shower was good and roomy and the bathroom was immaculate. There is a washing machine that you can use in the unit for a small charge or there is a laundry not far from the property. Alberto was available to help with anything and he gave us lots of advice on where to eat. We had a fabulous stay here and would recommend it.

The house is perfectly located in the old town of Gallipoli. The whole old town is car free, or only residents and suppliers are allowed in. But Parking is available within a 3-5 minute walk. There are many restaurants, bars and cafes in the area. A very beautiful city. The appartment ist very quite. Even if it is quite small, the big terrasse is amazing. The sleeping level is accessed via a small ladder. Couples and tall people schould know that you cannot stand in the bedroom level and the bed is only 140cm wide. But this makes it very cosy. The host, Alberto, is always available, very nice and helpful. I can highly recommend this accomodation.

This is now the case in many places, but I don't like the idea of full CCTV in front of the building and in all the communal areas of the building (not in the apartment itself!). I had a friend visit and it was automatically detected and we were contacted. On the other hand, of course, it does increase security.

We didn’t get the checkin time we were booked for. A small gesture to apologise would have remedied the inconvenience Contact was via WhatsApp with host throughout and felt quite remote and distant - which it was - welcome and instructions was done over the phone - very different from how we were received at the other 6 places on our trip The kitchen is poorly equipped. Very minimal welcome pack - again very different from other places we experienced No offer of fresh towels or more toilet roll during our 4 night stay.

The location was excellent a short direct walk from the train station. The busy streets sites and eateries were all within walking distance. The best part for us was the outdoor garden on the roof beside our 2nd floor room.

The apartment was as described so it is quite small. The bedroom up a ladder means during night being very careful decending. The garden made up for all of this a table chairs and relaxation chairs made this a much used space for us.

Awesome apartment on the main floor of a lovely old building in the old city. You enter into a big front room with a table and kitchen - two amazing bedrooms with super comfortable beds - great bathroom with a walk in shower. Super comfortable and clean and a nice location very close to the gate in a quieter residential area of the old town - minutes from lovely restaurants and shops and tourist sites.

Great for two friends…no living room if you’re travelling with family.

Firstly you are an easy walk from the Stazione. Secondo Il Garbino is about 300m from the centre of centro storico the historical centre of Lecce. Third, you have your own roof top al fresco area to enjoy your aperitivo with a sunset over the duomo. Finally and most importantly Alberto your host is available on WhatsApp to answer any question you might have. He was a very good host and made sure we had a great stay in Lecce. We also enjoyed the coffee and pastry selection at Bar Rocky, a very local cafe. Wifi and a laundry very handy.

There is nothing that we didnt like but its worth knowing a few things. Parking is not available in the historic zone but Alberto can arrange if you need it. The apartment is very small with a loft bedroom and bed that is not quite a double. Cosy but not uncomfortable.

Very central, within walking distance to the old town. Apartment is on the ground floor and is easily accessible. The place is clean and well decorated and equipped with everything we need for our stay. Though check-in is done remotely, the host provided us with useful information and recommendations. Parking is on the street, the first day we can easily find a spot but we have to wait a while on the second night.

Hand’s down one of the best accomodations we have found on this platform in terms of price-to-value. The appartment is spacious and tidy, with only a few hundred meters to basically any point of interest. Alberto (the host) is a booking.com-hero, friendly available and knowledgeable about the area (restaurants, parking etc.). No doubt that we will be back to this place next time in Lecce.

Very nice place with different rooms. Relaxed furniture. Washing machine very convenient. And directly connected to the city centre. Finally, the host was very kind and helpful with assistance and recommendations.

For some an long people the stairs to the bedroom might be something to consider as it is steep and requires bowing.

Alberto is the best host you can have. He responds fast and gives you the best recommendations. He recommended us 2 beaches that were amazing and he solved everything during our 3-day stay in Lecce. 100% recommended

Studio with terrace is a little.small and has a lot of stairs to get to it.
