Family room 149 has the most amazing views which can be enjoyed on the good sized balcony. The breakfast menu is delicious. The staff - Andreina, Margherita and Nicola - were very responsive to questions, organised our ferry to Capri and readily answered questions when we were at the hotel. The hotel is situated at the opposite end to the ferry terminal which for those with mobility issues could be an issue. A laundromat is close by. A free pebbly beach is directly across the road. Numerous restaurants are within easy walking distance.

In the family room the sofa becomes a double bed which is very uncomfortable. The two adults who slept in that room had numerous bruises on the back of their legs from getting out of the bed

Location was perfect for ferries and beach. Staff was so welcoming and helpful. Housekeeping was wonderful. Breakfast was very good too.

Busy street noise from the balcony kind of ruined your day (trash pick up 700 AM two days in a row) which lasted about 15 mins but than you are awake for the day. Thin walls in hotel so you can hear your neighbors.

We are a family if four who had the pleasure to stay at Hotel Sole Splendid from July 26 to July 31, 2023 celebrating my daughter’s first year wedding anniversary. The beds/pillows, rooms and room temperature were comfortable and well equipped with everything that we needed. The bathroom was a good size with bidet and good shower water pressure. From our balcony, we enjoyed the partial sea and Mountain View’s. Thank you to Assunta for keeping our rooms clean and sparkling every day. The breakfast had a vast variety of sweet, savory, fresh fruits, cooked/raw vegetables, scrambled/boiled eggs and more, offering bar quality cappuccino/espresso carefully prepared by the bar the attendant. The Hotel is situated in a and quiet location in front of a Lido beach establishment designated for Hotel guests at 20€ per day for one umbrella and two beds. The best feature of if the Hotel was the amazing, professional, attentive and friendly staff. We were greeted and treated every day like family members. Andreina in the front Office organized a beautiful and unexpected surprise for my daughter ‘s first wedding anniversary which rendered the special day a very emotional and memorable one. Thank you Andreina for gifting us memories that we will forever hold dear in our hearts. A special thank you goes out to Nicola, Margherita, Eva and especially Ida for her kind heart who had great recommendations on restaurants and places to visit. I would highly recommend Hotel Sole Splendid to anyone and families vacationing in in Maiori for a comfortable and memorable stay. Location is great, right next to the beach and easy walk to nearby restaurants and the "lemon walk" which is definitely worht doing. Our room was superb with great sea views on the balcony.

The parking charge is quite high at €20 a night, but think this is fairly standard for the area.

Loved the hotel, we stayed in an ocean view room. The room was perfect and the staff were beyond helpful. I am really picky when it comes to rooms and this met all my criteria . The breakfast was really good, they had a variety of foods and something for everyone. We really did plan on getting breakfast somewhere else but this was to good. The beach is right across the road and you can rent an umbrella for 20 euros. The bar that is owned by the hotel on the beach is beyond affordable. If I were coming back to the Almafi Coast I would stay here again.

Clean room (housekeeping staff are doing wonderful job), helpful front desk staff, decent breakfast, convenient location, great view from the balcony.

Only minor things that could be easily improved - additional space for luggage would help (only 1 luggage space for 2 people), additional hangers for the clothes would be awesome too (we had 2 hangers for 2 people, so you can't really unpack). The biggest disadvantage is that you have to pay for the beach in front of the hotel or go to the small public beach nearby, however this was known at the time of booking.

It was extremely clean. Great location. It is the only hotel in the area that is connected to the beach (no street in between). It was very convenient that they have a deal with the beach in front of them, because you could put all charges on your room number and not take credit card or cash to the beach and easily enjoy the water. The breakfast was really complete and very delicious. We did not miss anything in the provided selection. The room was big, with big bathroom. Clean and very good selection of toiletries.

Nothing major. There were some people standing just in front of our room in the hallway talking at 7 am and we could hear the noise. But it probably won't happen to most people.

•Location is perfect! Beach front plus a lot a restaurants to choose from. We were glad we booked our hotel in Maiori where there is less crowd compared to Amalfi and Positano. The boat ride going to Amalfi is just 15mins anyway if the weather allows •Breakfast buffet was really good. They have a lot of options from fresh fruits to hot breakfast, bread and pastries •Spacious room bed is just ok •Helpful staff and speak good english

•You could not adjust the temperature of the aircon. You can only turn it on and off •Smell of the cleaning solution they use was off putting

The hotel is great, with amazing location right on the beach strip, walking distance from restaurants, bard and town center. Few steps from the beach. Friendly and very helpful staff, Great breakfast options, The view on the beach from the room is breath taking, you could even hear the waves at night. Wish we could have stayed longer .

No free beach access( sunbeds and umbrella), or parking still had to pay for,, which I believe should have been included. However, this seems to be the trend across the Amalfi Coast. P.S. if you don't need sunbeds there are small areas allocated for free beach with no sunbeds. Pillows could be better, the sofa bed could have an additional layer of mattress. The facility could use a bit of renovations. Other than that, really had enjoyed the stay, and wished we were able to stay there longer.
