The hotel staff are exceptional. The location is 5 minutes from the Matera sassi. The room is very spacious and clean and the bed is so comfortable! There is complimentary water and coffee in the room which is a nice touch. On check out the receptionist gave us a free bag with water ad snacks. Top class hotel!

The lobby area is very dark and when we checked in and found our room, the cleaner was still not finished with our room. Staff still very kind but no other real bad things to say.

This hotel is a wonderful hotel. The breakfast was excellent, had a great and suficiente selection of food. But what made it even more special was the personal atención of Ana,Vincenzo and novel, they were incredible. The room was modern and more than comfortable. My husband needed to do some work and the room was so spacious that it made it easy for him. The location is perfect and close to the sassi and the same time independent of noise. And finally Serena and the staff in the front desk made our life so easy . They were always ready to guide us and help us in any way.

Rooms were spacious, breakfast was good.

Hotel lacked soul, difficult to find help when you needed it, there was never anyone available at the bar, parking was expensive at 25 per day, 100 over the days we were there. Our room was not cleaned on one of the days and we were out all day.

La Suites is so well located. It is a modern hotel located on the edge as you enter the central part of the old town. The rooms are large and well equipped. the staff are exceptional, Jennifer at the front desk was a standout, offering great help and assistance, as did other staff we engaged with.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Close proximity to the old town & restaurants. Parking on site. Modern decor. Very good breakfast. But above all, the thing we appreciated most was the super friendly & helpful staff. All were fantastic but Luigi in particular went beyond the normal call of duty to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Thank you Luigi.

In order to use the hotel facility like swimming pool, gym or sauna, which was not included in your rate and you have to pay 25€ extra, I found that’s a bit odd but otherwise it’s a great hotel.

Fantastic location with a short walk into the Sassi. Fab suite with 2 great views of the city and very quiet. Great spa facility and wonderful massage. Very comfy bed too!

Would be nice to have a makeup mirror in the room as the bathroom lighting is a bit of a challenge for us girls to put on our makeup!

Great location, just outside the historical area, so no need to carry your luggage through the thousand steps of Matera's Sassi. Nice spa area, very large and comfortable bed. Complimentary water (still and sparkling), tea and Nespresso coffee in the room. Great breakfast with both sweet and savory options. Car park just under the hotel (literally), you can leave you car outside the hotel and their staff will park it for you, so you don't have to search for space (we were staying for a long holiday weekend and it was always almost full, as Matera was full of tourists).

Breakfast was great but scrambled eggs were so runny that we could barely put them on the plate.

great modern hotel at a very convenient location in Matera - a minute's walk to del Corso. The room was large, spotless, and comfortable. The best breakfast we had on this trip (6 hotels total). Warmly recommended.

the parking is in fact municipal parking, the place is not guaranteed (but we found one) and it's not free at about 25euro/day.

The hotel is very calm and serene and the staff are all helpful and charming. We had a large suite which was well designed and extremely comfortable. From our balcony we could see the cathedral and some of the caves.
