The room was clean, there was every facilities, the pool was clean, there was extra towels, it was very quiet, and very nice staff

The location, it wasnt possible to catch anything else from the taxi and the taxies might be a little bit late

Nice Pool. Very well kept hotel overall. Atmospheric and well restored. We had a lovely room on top floor overlooking the pool with a high roof and exposed beams. Train station is close, regular and cheap. Taxi will charge 35-50 EURO to get into Venice centre.

Dinner menu caters to very high end style dining only. Would have been nice to have some more of the traditional Italian dishes on offer. In saying that... you are very close to Venice and its endless choice so what are you waiting for?! :) Breakfast selection was poor. Staff were okay however, if you want something - ASK. Not very proactive.

Beautiful hotel with amazing outside space. Pool area was fab with plenty of sun loungers and bar service. Room was very big and very well decorated with large bathroom. Buffet breakfast had everything you needed and was very tasty in wonderful surroundings.

Amazing location and service. From the time of arrival we were welcomed and the staff was very friendly and informative. Facilities were very clean and very close to Venice. We took the free shuttle to Venice and it was a very comfortable ride. Beds were comfy . Rooms were decorated nicely and clean. Bathrooms clean and very spacious the shower the best. Lots of towels. Quiet place to rest and relax. Breakfast top notch so many varieties of choices from fruits, vegetables, breads, croissants delicious also we were offered a Latte Macchiato and it was 5 stars. Every detail was perfect, I will definitely recommend it and I will comeback soon.

Just about everything! Pool area is very nice, our room was large and comfortable with a lovely barhroom. Staff were very good and looked after our needs promptly and efficiently. The front desk gave us a good recommendation for a local restaurant etc

The food in the restaurant was good, but I think the menu needs to be more varied. It was the same every evening and limited, which would not have been a problem if it had been changed each evening. There were some very small room cleaning issues; dirty cups did not get changed.

Free Shuttle to Venice was perfect!!!

beautiful property, excellent staff, excellent restaurant. However I had booked a deluxe double with garden & requested by phone 2 twin beds as I was travelling with a friend. I was assured this was done. When we checked in, we were shown to the room selected but the bed as a double and the room very small. Also the shutters were broken making it very dark.The front desk manager on duty Francesco was very kind to offer a free upgrade to a suite on the 2 nd floor but we had to wait a long time, very tiresome after a long road trip. The meal was excellent but quite pricey. Conclusion: there should be better monitoring of maintenance for a four star hotel in this price range.

Beautiful old villa from the 15th century with original frescos and lovely gardens - a brilliant pool area, fantastic breakfast (especially if taken outside) , the staff is extremely nice and the rooms are a splendid mixture of old and modern. We had a room with a little garden, minibar, lots of space and comfy beds. The hotel has a free shuttle to Venice, which is very convenient, but you can take lovely walks on the premises and around Mestre as well - there is a little bridge an a river next to the building. We had a great time!

Excellent hotel with hospitable staff. We felt well-informed and taken care off during our stay. The staff was very helpful and attentive, and had helped arrange a surprise for us from our friends upon our arrival. The location provides a dreamy hideaway from the busy streets of Venice. The room was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. We loved the high ceiling and view to the garden. Food was great, and the overall atmosphere was amazing. Definitely one of our favourite stays and we will return when visiting Venice again.

Amazing service, beautiful property, super easy to get to Venice by train (only 3 stops; ticket is just 1.5€). From my perspective, it’s much more convenient and comfortable to stay in a property like that one rather then to stay inside of Venice itself. Venice is overcrowded, has no public transport, not suitable for cars, kids and heavy luggage. I see no point in choosing an overpriced old hotel over super-comfortable villa with private parking in just 3 stops away from Venice. Well, it’s very subjective opinion, of course. I travelled by car
