We did not meet the staff, we communicated remotely. They were always fast and helpful. The apartment was very clean and well equipped, we could even use their water bottles during our stay. There is a storage room in the building that we could use before check-in and after check-out. For breakfast we got vouchers to a cafe located 7 min walking distance. There you could choose between 2 options: freshly squeezed orange juice, one croissant and a hot beverage (hot chocolate excluded) or a bottle of water, one slice of pizza and a hot beverage (hot chocolate excluded). We had lovely breakfasts there.

Make sure your phone is charged, otherwise you cannot enter your apartment.

The property is conveniently located for sightseeing, about 15 minutes (1 km) walk to the Duomo. It's away from the main streets, so while it's okay to walk during the day, if you're arriving with luggage at night, I would take a taxi. There is not staff on site, but the support staff promptly answer any questions via WhatsApp. The room is super spacious. I love the little touches – the fragrance diffuser smells great, as do the toiletries. Ground coffee is also supplied for use with the Bialetti pot, and it tastes great.

For such large rooms and bathroom, there is very little bench space to put anything (e.g. computer, toiletries) Needs more power sockets at useful places (e.g. over bench space for charging devices). There is a kettle and a toaster but no socket in the kitchen? On my second night there were some mysterious noises in the middle of the night. A couple of minutes at a time and recurring. Possibly the fridge, and maybe something else.

We had a fabulous 4 days in Milan. Bob W accomadated us wonderfully. Value for money, location, clean spacious rooms, cafe and express supermarket within 3 minutes walking distance. 5 minute walk to Duomo (safe at night). Bob W would texted us on a daily basis asking if we require any sort of assistance. Very professional. A special thanks for Michelle for helping us yesterday. She is a gem. The location is amazing for sightseeing. Even though it's in the city centre, it's very quiet and cozy. Bob W standard is pretty good around Europe. Comfy, convenient, and offers excellent amenities. We'd be happy to stay here again.

We've at other Bob W properties, and they've been extremely cool. This one is a slight downgrade in comparison. Plus, there are no usual extra thingies that you'd expect. Probably, it's just me being picky. But like all Italy in autumn, it feels a bit to damp and we couldn't regulate the a/c to our liking.

great location, great communication and check-in / check-out process, good value for money…the family room is also very spacious, with a big private balcony and the kitchen and bathroom are well-equipped, the premises are clean and comfortable during our 3 nights stay…well within central milan and walking distance to the duomo but still in a quieter part of the city; there’s a supermarket and some coffee shops very close by as well…highly recommended and will book again when we return to milan

maybe some parts of the room are a bit dated and need repaint or updating, but not a big deal…we were very happy with our stay overall

The communication with the host is amazing. The building is exactly as described, it is an upgraded boutique hotel experience. The digital entry is super convenient. They also provide a luggage room for the early arrival / late departure. A little tip for transportation as the UBER/Taxi costs are super high in Milan. We took the train to Cordusio, then took an UBER from there. It cut the cost into half.

We were 3 so we wished the bathroom entrance was from the living room not inside the bedroom but we managed :) It would also be great if they could get a full length mirror.

The location was great, with easy self-check-in and everything you need in the room. 5 min from Duomo, near cafes and shops.

Occasionally, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. The breakfast was decent, but the cafes serving the hotel were always full in the mornings, which made waiting with kids quite challenging. You either have to wait, take it to your room, or find another place. We ended up missing one breakfast and had to go elsewhere, while on other days, we opted for takeaway. That said, the overall service and location were very good!

The property was a great size, with a kitchenette/bar seating/sofa area and spacious separate bedroom which wasn’t expected! Staff weren’t on site as everything was keyless but the communication was fab throughout and every detail was thought of - there were even instant cameras hung up on the wall for us to take photos. It was quiet but also well located with a little cafe and supermarket a few steps away.

The only thing I’d say is that the building felt a little clinical - once in, it had a bit of an industrial office unit feel until you were in the actual room itself. I wouldn’t let it stop me from booking again though for the value and space once in.

The location is good. It's close to bus stop to reach city center or airport. It's located in a residential area and there is a convenient store cross street. The apartment is spacious, great for family of four. There's a parking in front of the building which worked out great for us since we had a rental. The owner is very nice. He met with us in the apartment and check us in promptly.

The towels are old but we didn't use since we were there for very short stay before heading home.

We had a great vacation. The hotel is excellent. The location is very good, there are many cafes nearby, a metro station and the center with attractions are nearby, but the hotel was not located on a big noisy street, but slightly to the side, so it was very quiet, we walked everywhere. The hotel looked new and well maintained. The room had a nice interior, it was quiet and pleasant to sleep at night. The beds were comfortable, the bed linen was clean, and there were enough towels. Many useful little things have been thought out in the room: a charging cord, replaceable batteries, a shopping bag, yoga mats, drinking water bottles - to take with you on a walk. There was also a notice that the tap water was safe to drink. The kitchen was well equipped: enough utensils, kettle, coffee, paper towel, sponge and tea towel. The bathroom has a warm heated towel rail, hairdryer, shower accessories, cotton swabs and cotton pads. There is also an first aid kit in the room, which is also very cool. Downstairs at the entrance there is an elevator for lifting luggage and for strollers, although there are a few steps there. The hotel itself is also equipped with an elevator. There is also a luggage room, washing machine and fitness room - but we didn't use anything.

I would also add a separate liquid soap to the bathroom sink.
