The property has absolutely perfect location close to all main places of interest in Milan! Big kitchen with a terrace - can’t wait for coming back here at summer time to admire my breakfast outside. Rooms are clean and cozy, stuff at the reception desk – one love! Thank you so much Valery and Dodo for your help and lovely attitude 🫶🏼 I have stayed at Ostello Bello for several days in November and it was amazing.

Just a little noisy outside around 11 pm but it was fine for me.

Literally everything from the pretty Staff .....I mean the Ladies especially Zoe (The Lady from Cape Verde,...15 years in Italy)....to the Design and paintings or Write ups in the hostel. It was amazing. I mean the Staff can give u everything for free like Towel, showel gel, bodycream. you could literally go there "EMPTY"...they got you covered....no worries lol.....It really felt so comforting, i was amazed by what i saw. I wish i could visit, actually i should visit more.

WEEEEEELLLLLLLLLL the Breakfast.... it is not SHERATON nor HILTON....the Breakfast is enough to hit the road. The Short Supply of LASAGNEEEEEEE......It was ALWAYS FINISHED whenever i tried to order.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ostello Bello, and it was an experience I won't soon forget. The standout aspect of this hostel was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcome and had everything they needed for a comfortable stay. A special shoutout to Lauren from the event team, who was truly remarkable. Her dedication to keeping everyone informed and engaged was impressive. She made sure that all the guests were aware of the activities and events happening at the hostel, which added a lot of value to my stay. The pub crawl event organized by the hostel was a highlight of my trip. It was not only a great way to explore the local nightlife but also an excellent opportunity to meet fellow travelers. The event was well-organized, fun, and safe, thanks to the attentive planning and execution by the hostel team, especially Lauren. Overall, Ostello Bello exceeded my expectations. The combination of a vibrant atmosphere, exceptional staff, and exciting events like the pub crawl made my stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a fun, friendly, and well-organized place to stay. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

I loved this hostel 10/10. Met some really cool people in my room and through a bar crawl that the hostel sponsored. The girl leading our little bar crawl was also super fun and nice so shoutout to her! The hostel's in a great location (prob a 10 min walk from the Duomo) and super close to most of the attractions and a lot of great restaurants. The staff was super super friendly and remembered my name after like one single interaction, which I was thoroughly impressed with. The breakfast was also super awesome and the free welcome drink was just another added benefit. Good atmosphere also for the little bar underneath the rooms, it was a nice place to chill. Also they provided earplugs for potential noise, there was a hairdryer, provided towels and little locks for the storage areas for stuff, and other stuff too if you asked, which was awes.

Ok to preface I am a sleepy girl if nothing else and I can fall asleep with/sleep through an absurd amount of noise. That being said I did actually notice that it was a bit loud because of the bar/music downstairs while I was going to sleep BUT it was like 10:30pm on a Thursday night and I was only on the second floor. They also gave us earplugs too which I was not using so lol probably more my fault than anything, but either way it was nothing crazy just something I noticed. Also I can definitely fall asleep on almost any surface and did notice that I could somewhat feel the springs in the mattress LOL BUT I did sleep soundly and comfy in the end so no biggie and thats seriously nitpicking, I did really love this hostel.

The things I like about OB is countless :) The location is amazingly perfect! Very centered-you can walk to Duomo, close to the metro station, supermarket, restaurants, bars/pubs, gelato around the hostel and they are open late at night. Breakfast is quite good. They serve eggs, ham, cheese, tomato, cucumber, bread, fresh croissant, jam etc., coffee, mango & orange juice. There is a water and an americano machine in the common area, so whenever you want, you can get it for free. They are functioning 24/7. There is a kitchen. They provide guests free pasta, garlic and pasta sauces. They also provide you cooking utensils, so you can cook yourself meals anytime you want. There are two minibars, you can store your food there by labeling it. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again!

There is nothing I didn't like.

This hostel was incredibly clean, very popular, and the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. The airport lost my luggage and the staff was so helpful receiving the delivery and calling me to update me. They helped me get a taxi even though it took 20 minutes because of the rain but the receptionist didn’t give up or complain at all. I forgot something in my room after check out and they were happy to go into the room and help me find it. Everyone was happy to help and friendly which made a huge difference.

I was under the impression there was air conditioning, which was not the case for my room.

From the second I got there I felt welcome, the man on reception got me a glass of water because I was a bit flustered after trying to figure out the metro system with a heavy backpack which was a nice gesture. They washed and dried my clothes for 7€ and it was done in a matter of hours which was impressive! This hostel is very social, on Saturday night it practically turned into a nightclub so if you’re looking for super quiet this is not the place for you but I felt at home and it was easy to get chatting to people. I tried to find a club for hours and then when I gave up and arrived back to the hostel I realised that the hostel was the place to be anyway! The beds were really comfortable and i was so happy to find the bunkbeds didn’t creak. I’m not a massive fan of being on the top bunk but it definitely made it easier as I didn’t feel so disruptive when trying to get to sleep. Also AIRCON!!! Soooo welcome after 2 weeks in sweaty hostels. Overall I had a lovely stay, it was in what I would say is the centre of Milan, Milano Central seemed to be in the middle of no where, so it was easy to explore from here. Although this hostel was on the more expensive side I would pay it a million times over, it was in par if not better than Onefam hostel in Prague and that’s got excellent reviews.

If I were to be picky the bathroom floor was wet constantly as the shower doors didn’t shut well, i would’ve also liked if the place was only open to guests as it’s easier to meet likeminded travellers that way & it feels safer when everyone’s there for the same reason/in the same boat. Neither were ultimatums as I would definitely stay here again

great location, right at the city center. You can get a free drink(soft or hard) upon arrival. The bathroom in the room and the room were clean. You don't have to download the app for opening doors. You can ask for codes instead.

1. I hope they can well inform customers how to find their number of bed through the app. There's a Italian guy putting his stuffs all over my bed and we didn't have any languages in common. 2. On the day I left, I asked one of the staff to open the luggage room for me so that I could take my bag but then she doubted whether I was the customer, as if I was someone creepy trying to sneak in. 😠 3. The toilet in common area was kind of dirty.

Really great staff and the place even had a bar open late! There's a good amount of seating so you can hang out and meet other travelers. The bunk beds have solid baskets underneath that you can lock to store your stuff, and there's a secure storage space where you can keep your luggage if you need to check out but your train isn't for a while.

This is just something to keep in mind when staying here: it can get noisy. I mean, this place is in the middle of Milan, which is a big city. It's going to be busy and loud at times, even in the evenings. But if you know that going in, you'll be more preapred for a great stay.

From the get-go I knew this place was going to be special to stay at. I arrived after having navigated the hectic Milan metro and once I got there a man named Dodo at reception greeted me and acknowledged me as a legend for having downloaded the Goki app ahead of time to access my keys to the property (room and entrance to the stairwell). He also acknowledged me as a legend due to my Italian middle names and loved how they sounded. His energy was incredibly infectious and definitely helps make a guest feel at home. I got a free drink coupon and got established in my room. When I came back down, reception (Dodo included) gave me the rundown of the lay of the land in Milan and had maps of the city indicating main attractions and hidden gems. There was a free walking tour as advertised by the hostel, which I attended. In the basement every night there was an event whether a live performance, karaoke, comedy, etc. and I took full advantage of those. Met some interesting people that way. And a big bonus is that the hostel didn't charge me to rent a lock or for breakfast or for late checkout! Every euro saved is a euro earned! The price for staying was rather high for a hostel, but that's because it was Fashion Week, which is to be expected. Many other places charged highway robbery. Ostello Bello is perfect for a budget traveler and that money I saved came in handy because my credit card took a good beating by way of Milan shopping. You could spend several days shopping here that's not hyperbole! They have several posters throughout the hostel giving helpful tips including "saving the environment is sexy." Indeed it is, sustainable travel for the win! In summary, Fashion Week will always be an expensive time to be in Milan, but if you're looking for a fun place to stay that won't damage your wallet, Ostello Bello is the place to be!

I know it's impossible to please everyone when it comes to bedding. I found my pillow to be too thin and my roommates snored quite loudly, but that's par for the course when staying in a hostel. I don't fault Ostello Bello for that in any way, shape or form. One night before I left, my sheets and towel were changed. I didn't understand that one since it would've made more sense to have changed everything once I left. Maybe it was miscommunication between staff. Other than that, Ostello Bello was the ideal place to stay!
