Beautiful hotel with nice decor. Staff was excellent. Very accommodating, informative, and brought a sense of humor. Buffet breakfast was delicious too.

Air conditioning was not working well the night we were there. They had repairmen working on it. It took a long time for the room to cool down. Rooms were smaller than expected but well appointed and comfortable.

The breakfast was very good, tasty choices and many Italian delicacies. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The interiors and rooms very nicely Italian vintage style and inviting athmosphere. The airconditioner kept the room nice and cool while it was hot over 30C outside. The location eas excellent; straight from teh Malpensa Airport to the main train station Centrale by train and from there to the hotel by tram to the corner and only two blocks to walk. There is really near tram/bus stop which made easy to reach different attrations and places eg. Duomo/Vittorio Gallerie, Navgli (local "Venice"), Chinatow, Brera etc

Wishing minibar being little bigger - needed lots of water (so hot over 30C). The night stands stayed dusty for a couple of days.Just observation-could`ve done it myself, too.

Food was fresh and pleasant. We had a good size room on the forth floor and it was fairly quiet. The bed was comfortable and we liked the views form the room and the large windows. Overall, we would recommend.

They expected us to always leave the room key at the desk. We wanted to leave them but there was not always a receptionist. Were not sure about how to get coffee and we could have been charged for having juice by the bar as the sign was barely visible. We thought that they might look at how much was everyone eating which was not nice. Bathroom was outdated.

We arrived at the hotel for a long weekend on Friday. We were greeted by Alberto, who was very friendly and helpful, recommended a super restaurant nearby, and even called them to let them know we would be arriving soon. The hotel is elegant and decorated in an antique style. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, and the waiter there was also accommodating.

However, I cannot speak highly of the cleaning staff. They knocked on the door all 3 days and even opened it in the morning when we were still asleep. Even though the do not disturb mode was on the wall panel. I have never stayed in a hotel where they came to clean before the morning, and even on the last check-out day, they tried to go in 3 times, even though we had to check out by 12. This was very annoying, and when we reported it to reception, the response was a simple 'sorry' on Sunday. Also, she did not take out the rubbish and threw the pajamas on the bedside table.

This is obviously a family run business and that is reflected in the friendly and helpful staff, particularly in the breakfast room where they were happy to chat and give advice. Italian first, English and Spanish as required. The location was surprisingly good, being close to areas like Via Mozart, the local shopping areas along Via Premuda and lovely local restaurants in Via Pietro Calvi (and nearby) which also has a market on a Thursday. Easy metro access at Piazza Tricolore for Il Duomo, Castello, Brera although walking is also readily doable in 20 minutes.

This is a great little hotel within walking distance of the Duomo (if you like walking - 20 mins) or just a tram ride. Trams are just a 2 minute walk from the hotel so access to anywhere in Milan is super easy. The hotel itself is decorated with antique furniture giving the entire building a special warm feel. Breakfast was small but more than adequate with cold cuts and cheeses as well as fruits and croissants offered. Staff was helpful and friendly

Probably the price but at the moment it seems like all hotel prices in Italy have gone crazy.

The Staff were super friendly and there was live entertainment on the first night of our stay which was greatly appreciated after a day on our feet.

The price of drinks from the hotel bar was a bit too much. 15 Euro for a Cocktail surprised us to say the least when there wasn't even a bartender on duty? If you wanted a drink, the Front Desk attendant had to come downstairs to make it. Our friend stayed in the standard rooms and they were very small. Although the Breakfast was convenient, the selection and quality of some of the food like the eggs was not very good.

Everything was just perfect. Beautiful, clean and spacious room with a nice bathroom. The breakfast was one of the best we had in years of traveling. The receptionists were so helpful and kind and they even managed to give us breakfast before the start of it because we had an early excursion. We attended also a live music event with two lovely ladies playing piano and singing. The hotel is just 20 minutes walk to the Duomo and the surrounding is full off all amenities like restaurants, shops, supermarkets etc. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel location is great to visit best attractions in Milan we did it all by walking. The staff in the hotel could not be kinder. special thanks to Federicca who was incredibly helpful and never even accepted a tip! We arrived too early and exhausted from Budapest after almost 15h in a bus and so we were given an early check in for free thanks to that we had plenty of time to get ready refreshed and get out to discover Milan. the first room had a problem in the door system so we were given a second room where the heating was a bit noisy. we asked the staff to check while we were away and when we returned we had the surprise of an upgrade room where the heating was perfect. the room was number 26 and I dont know the normal rate for it as I had booked the cheapest one but next time this is definitely the room I will book. everything from the fantastic shower to all the room & bathroom amenities the bed the towels the linen the temperature the space the decoration simply PERFECT. breakfast was included and delicious all fresh and many options and served by the kindest staff ever. we have been travelling for 5 weeks around Europe and this hotel was by far our favourite choice!

The breakfast buffet was really good (different toasts, croissants, pastries, and cakes; different jams & honey; several kinds of fruit & fruit salad; many kinds of cheese and meats; and also a basket with many gluten-free options). Fresh coffee and orange juice were delicious! The staff is very helpful, friendly, and obliging (and they speak English!). The location is good - about a 20-minute walk from the Duomo, or 12 minutes with public transport. Many delicious bars/bistros one road further for the nightly Aperol Spritz ;)

Unfortunately, our air-conditioner didn't work that well, so we never could cool the room down as much as we would have liked, but it was a minor problem.
