Thanks to Raffaele, Guiseppe and the whole staff at Villa Margherita we had an amazing stay in Napoli. The room was perfect, with an excellent view of Chiaia and the sea and very comfortable beds. We easily spent an hour every morning just relaxing on the balcony, while enjoying the delightful coffee and sweets offered by the hotel for breakfast. The location of the hotel is calm and very convenient to explore Chiaia and connects well with the metro and funiculare to the Vomero district, so you have plenty of great restaurant options.

The room was absolutely beautiful, simple but stunning overlooking the city. It was easy to walk to the beach, restaurants, bars and view the Oval Castle. Rafaele was very welcoming and communicative before our arrival, which was helpful because our flight was delayed by a long time. He also offered pastries and coffee each morning for us to enjoy on the shared balcony. The area surrounding the hotel is all very beautiful and authentic. Many shops and cafes and restaurants to stop at, and a short walk to the metro.

One drawback of the room was the shower, it was very small! The hot water was also intermittent, however it was very hot when we visited so not much of an issue for us.

Small family run boutique hotel that is lovely & we were treated like family. Relaxed atmosphere with lovely views of the sea & the beds, sheets & pillows were the most comfortable we’ve experienced in hotels for a long time - super soft & we slept like babies. Safe neighbourhood with some good restaurants & shops just 10-15min walk down the hill. For breakfast, the owner makes you a cup of coffee with small buns to have on the outdoor terrace.

On top of a hill so you’d need transport to get your luggage there & it’s a walk both downhill & uphill so if you’re not keen on walking, then this might not be for you.

The hotel is located in a very fancy area of Naples, I enjoyed a room with a view to Capri:), the sightseeing is very nice. The man at the reception was very kind, he waited for me as I was late for the check in. The location is easily accessible by public transport (metro/ train) from Central station. I would advise the hotel add an information about how to reach the hotel. Otherwise, you "enjoy" the traffic in Naples and being charged by the taxi driver at the price they want (luggage are charged separately, and you learn that at the destination only:().

Room was clean and well equipped. Raffaele was a kind and attentive host, although he didn’t speak a lot of English. I think he enjoyed making our coffee for us each morning. 😊 Pastries were good. Outdoor spaces were very nice and so great to have in a crowded city.

The beds were not good—squeaky, uncomfortable metal frames. Like summer camp-type beds. Also it was a bit of a walk to restuants and public spaces, but that helps to keep it quiet.

Spacious room, with very comfortable bed sheets and functional air conditioner. Staff is A+, always available to help.

The bathroom is too small for a tall person. If you're over 1,80m you might have some issues when taking a bath. The walls between the rooms are a bit thin and you can hear what's being said next door and outside. The location doesn't have any restaurant, drugstore or anything like that near. Everything is always a 8-minute walk distance from the hotel.

The room was nice, aircon was on upon arrival which was amazing. Nice view from room also. It’s a 10 minute walk to get somewhere nice for dinner. The rooms where comfy and as shown in photos. We only stayed one nice, but it was nice! Staff where lovely, organised a taxi for us.

I wouldn’t advice anyone who wasn’t fit or able to walk distances or a lot of stairs to stay here. The showers are very small, to the point where it was hard to close the doors. Everything else was great!

Light, airy and clean room in recently refurbished building built c1900. Very polite and helpful service from start to finish. Handy for Chaiai area and just two stops by Metro from the centre of Naples. Would happily recommend.

Although coffee and pastries available in the morning it would have been nice to have a breakfast menu but it was not a deal breaker!

This property was located on the beautiful hillside of Naples, the view of the ocean and the visibility of the outline of the island of Capri were very enchanting. Walking distance to restaurants and transportation facilities. Staff assisted and advised on making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The hotel provides just coffees and breads for breakfast, indeed very European by their standards, but for travelers the availability of a full breakfast would be an asset.

A wonderful view from the room. Cleanliness was top and a very welcoming, helpful and a polite host. Though, knowing Italian for better communication is a plus. Nice Italian breakfast served in the morning (pastries) and coffee made by a sweet Rafaello.

It is very easy to hear through the walls when people are showering and are watching loud TV.
