It’s in a great location with markets and restaurants at your doorstep. There is a car park just around the corner making it easy if you are driving to Palermo. The host was great to deal with and gave us some really nice local restaurants away from all the tourist restaurants. Room was nice and spacious with plenty for room for us to have our suitcases. The room was very funky and really loved the decor. The property also has a lift which was so handy.

The only thing I would say is that it was a little noisy from the streets below but wasn’t something that bothered us at all.

Its proximity to everything- Da capo and Ballarò markets with its amazing food made on the spot. Cafes in close range. The host was most personable. The two people who cleaned also. The colors (my room was the turquoise one with purple). And I absolutely loved the bathroom with its golden sheeny walls. It’s spacious but the shower part is very big compared to what I’ve found elsewhere. There’s an elevator. The view is great from the salon- overlooking sant’agostino street with its many vendors as well as the mountain. J’ai même lu un livre que Vito avait dans le salon - le réel et son double de Clement Rosset. Merci, Vito de l’avoir mis sous mes yeux!

Nothing to not like.

Fun and interesting designs in the lobby and rooms. The owner was very friendly and helpful with providing recommendations. Our room was spacious, had a bubble bath, and had cool lighting that you can change the colors of for different moods.

Entrance was kind of hard to find and the reception is not open all the time so we had to wait in the empty lobby for 40 mins. There was a cockroach in the hall way.

We are used to the urban environment so we liked the busy center. Being on the 4th floor allowed us to detach from the crowd and also gave us a great view of the surrounding area. This type of privacy can be quite romantic. As soon as you step out, you’re right in the midst of it all. Very fun!

If you’re driving, the parking can be a bit tricky. Vito was very helpful with this.

The location of the hotel is right in the heart of the city where most of the cafes and restaurants are located. Literally a short walking distance to everything you need. Even though very basic, it has all you really need to spend your nights and has a very unique design and vibe. The host Vito is an amazing guy, so friendly, helpful with a great sense of humor. He gave me tips of what to see, where to go, what to try, and was always ever ready to help. It was a real pleasure getting to know him.

this place is something for the extravagant travelers. it's beautifully decorated with a lot love for details in an oriental style. the owner is a super friendly, very interesting character with a lot of stories to tell. like the place. the location is right in the center from where you can start your trips to see some of Palermo's main attractions. with the self-drawn map from Vito (host) it was easy to find our ways to have food, shops and all the rest.

only the heat of the city is exhausting.

The location is super central, at the center of the old town, easy to move to a lot of attractive places. The decoration of the hotel is exotic, full of details. Vito, owner of the hotel, is a very humorous, romantic and passionate person, who makes my stay really pleasant! Even after my check-out, he gave help to me, shared interesting stories about Sicilia! Besides his identity as owner of the hotel, he acts like a friend, the one you can go back to talk with and to share anytime you want!

Maybe a little bit of noise

i liked the first approach of the personal responsible for the hotel " rikardo" he was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is just situated 50 metres from the busy road with all restaurants , bars and shops , saying so the room was quiet even being so close. The airconditioner was working perfectly which is definitely needed during the summer times. The room was quite authentic , charming and stylish if you are a free spirit creative person. So overall it was a nice experience being to this hotel and definitely will visit again and higly recommend it.

Breakfast : The breakfast was situated in a cafe just a100 metres from the hotel , which is not the problem , the only issue we had was that we could only choose from a sweet croissant or a warm pastry . and for drinks , a coffee or tea or juice . We are used to a big range to choose from and a bit more of a generous breakfast as in most other hotels. Bathroom: The hot water was not functioning , though it was very hot outside so a cold shower does not do bad to anybody :) and the shower hose was broken which in my opinion should be checked and fixed before guests are put in the room My " did not likes" are only for constructive use ,, as i would definitely visit and reccomend the place once again

The breakfast system was really good. And Riccardo took really good care of us. He was always there and ready to help. The location is great. The rooms look really fun and it's fun to stay there.

The room needs a little more care. We stayed at the sultan suite and there were little things that where not good. We didn't have a functioning toilet brush, the jacuzzi leaked, the sheets on the bed could not stay in place but they were remade everyday. The AC turned of automatically in the night so I would always wake up sweaty.
