The location is good, very convenient, walkable to many restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and responsive in communication. They let us check in and get to the room a bit earlier (since it was already ready). It was a smooth check in/out experience. She also helped us to order a taxi to the airpot after we checked out. Room has a roof window so you can see the sky on the bed, bathroom and spacious and clean.

Nothing really. One thing to note: Our room is in 3rd/4th floor. There's a lift to the 3rd floor but then there's a stair to get up to our room which is not a problem for me, but if you have a big luggage it might be a bit of a workout.

The rooms are nicely decorated, new and big. The bed was very comfortable. The reception staff was always available through whatsapp and very helpful. The location is in a busy area located close to the port and around 15-20 minutes walk to the historic center attractions. It's still on a quiet street so there's no issue with noise etc. and we had a very nice stay overall.

It's not the property's fault of course, but want to let people know that parking can be a problem. Parking is available on the street but you have to be extremely lucky. Otherwise there are private parking options nearby but that needs some exploration.

The staff were simple brilliant, they were very welcoming and put in the effort to make our stay amazing. The breakfast was an experience itself and the staff made every morning feel magical. The cannelloni were the best part of the breakfast, made fresh every day by the staff. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the location was ideal for visiting Palermo and beyond the north of Sicily.

Location was excellent within walking distance of main attractions. Bakery next door if you prefer like we do to have breakfast outside the hotel. Also plenty of restaurants within a 5 min walking distance. Adriana provided lots of useful recommendations on where to eat.

Room that we had was very small and only had velux ceiling windows. We booked the snug room which was advertised as a third floor room with lift access but in reality a further flight of stairs had to be negotiated with heavy bags.

The staff members were extraordinary friendly and welcoming. Each day there was a small selection of standard breakfast, but they always made us fresh cappuccinos and scrambled eggs. We had one of the upper rooms with the velux roof window which gave the room a really cosy vibe. Everything was nice and clean. The area was quiet but still very much walkable to the city center. We enjoyed the stay a lot.

There is not much to complain about. We booked the room with the balcony, which was very tiny and had no view. So I believe if you need it for smoking its fine other wise the smaller rooms upstairs with the nice roof windows but without the balcony are equally comfortable.

The attentiveness of the staff to every detail to make our stay memorable. Concetta, Annalisa and Roberta went above and beyond to help us. Dealing brilliantly with my spouses lactose intolerance. The breakfast choice was excellent, with everything ready at our table for the scheduled time agreed for breakfast. The location is perfect to visit the historic centre of Palermo, all within walking distance. They took the time on the first morning to explain Palermo and the area of the B&B with a map, no need to go to the tourist information center, Roberta and Annalisa provided the information. Our flight arrived late from Palermo and the transfer service, Giuseppe was great, getting us to the B&B safely, helped us with our luggage and made sure we got in the building before leaving. There are a lot of good restaurants in the area within walking distance.

Not much to say, the neighborhood appears rough but it is safe you can walk around late in the evening, there is so much activity because of the many restaurants and bars. The room was very quiet even with all the activit.

Usually we don't write reviews but this one really deserve it! Our stay at this property was amazing! Felt really safe and it is in a great position, few minutes walk to the center. The staff is awesome they were really nice and helped us a lot with all info we needed. First day we came one of the girls pulled out a map of Palermo and gave us all the recommendation which were all great! I would recommend this rather then a stay at a hotel. Also the breakfast was awesome and fresh!

Clean and beautifully decorated, spacious rooms. We received excellent tips on where to dine and service was generally attentive and warm. Breakfast was delicious, we especially appreciated the personal touch of cakes made by the personnel.

Really minor thing: The addition of greens (salad, tomatoes) to breakfast would have been great for us Nordic guests that are not so accustomed to pastries for breakfast.

Arches is a small BandB with extremely responsive, helpful, and friendly staff. Eggs were included as part of the breakfast and were cooked to order. One of the breakfast sweets was even hand made. Great location! Our room had a view of a park. Comfortable beds. Water in room was free. Good shower.

Comparing Arches to the other three hotels we stayed at in Sicily, nothing could have been better. We didn't need to use the AC, so I can't speak for that.

First and foremost excellent staff, always going above and beyond to make the stay very enjoyable. Credit to Annalisa for organising transfers and trips for us, and to Roberta as well for takung good care of us. Excellent location and amenities. Delicious coffee and breakfasts!!! Everything was perfect and we just felt like at home. Loved the location, as it was a short walk to literally everywhere.
