Single mum traveller with 3 children. Lovely property in the centre very if the town. The accommodation is on the 2nd floor but there is a lift. We stayed in a large room with double bed and 2 singles. Very clean accommodation. Beds are comfortable and shower is great. WiFi is good. Air conditioning is good. Mauro is a great host and really knowledgeable and helpful about where to visit in Sicily. The breakfast was great, plenty of variety and fresh pastries and local foods, fresh juices and coffee and cereal and fruit. The airport bus stops at the top of the street. Everything in Palermo was walking distance. Lots of local buses around town and to Mondello beach which was worth a visit. Tourist bus stop is only a few metres from the property and will take you around Palermo, which was great for seeing the city, especially in the heat with children! Central train station is approx 30 minutes walk away. We got the train to Cefalu in under an hour. There are lots of bars and restaurants beside the property but the room in the property was very sound proof. I highly recommend staying at the B&B.

Mauro is the most welcoming host and made my stay in Palermo unforgettable. He took the time to tell me all about the city with the wonderful map he drew himself explaing everything you need to know about Palermo. His b&b is a true gem in the city centre and the room with the external bathroom I booked, was very spacious and beautifully decorated. This was not the first time I stayed in Palermo but by far the best accommodation I booked and will book again when I come back!

Breakfast was a bit weak needed more variety as I stayed 5 nights - I suggest changing the pastry each not always croissants. I would like bigger bread and a toaster. Rest was good. I liked the room decor themed on ships the most

Breakfast as I said. Could have supplies soup spoons at breakfast as I found eating muesli with a tea spoon difficult. Might of left some fruit and yoghurt in the fridge for afternoon snacks too.

The owner Mauro was very helpful, he was open to giving us some advice about our trip plan through Sicily. The breakfast was typical for Italians (perfect croissants with pistachio cream or chocolate (we never forget those croissants) and were fruits, cheese, ham, and some bread). The room has AC and was working perfectly. The bathroom was modern and clean, and the shower was a little bit small but for us it was not a problem.

Mauro is a gracious, knowledgeable, helpful host. He kindly allowed me to check in at 8:30AM, knowing I had spent the night at the airport after a long, stressful time traveling (due to the fire at Catania Airport and rerouting). He also kindly re-explained the keys, etc. later in the day when I was rested enough to take in the information. The decor is individualized, and combines traditional homey touches with modern facilities. The breakfast is generous and varied.

We loved our stay at the B&B: delicious breakfast, clean room, comfy beds, good working wifi, and AC. The accommodation is centrally located, but if you need to use public transportation, the bus station is very close. Of course, many places to eat out within minutes walk from B&B. And then there is Mauro, the host, who gave us useful information and made sure that we had a great stay. We would love to stay here again!

We loved our stay at Mabbonath B&B that is centrally located in Palermo. Mauro gave us excellent information on what to visit in Palermo. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. Palermo has so many interesting sites to visit and we walked everywhere. The restaurants Mauro recommended to us were very good. We will come back again. We really enjoyed this B&B and are highly recommend it.

We liked everything

We loved our stay here. The beautifully furnished and spacious rooms, the very comfortable beds, and the big bathroom were outstanding. Add to that a lovely breakfast, which also included delicious fresh croissants and great coffee ....and a real highlight was Mauro, the owner who kindly shared with us local information about Palermo and Sicily. We were so grateful for this.

Mauro is very kind, assistive and knowledgable. He knows Palermo and its history very well. He gave us very helpful advices and also made sure we feel like at home. Breakfast was very diverse, full and delicious. Locationwise the place is great. You can easily access to cafes/restaurants/touristic places etc in the centre by walk. The room was very clean, bright and has everything you need. All in all, we have enjoyed our stay a lot!

Wonderful stay at Mabbonath B&B in the heart of Palermo. Nice big rooms and Mauro did everything to make sure that the guests enjoyed their stay. Felt really like home away from home. Also enjoyed the discussions with Mauro😊
