The man and woman who seem to own the place are incredibly nice and friendly, always greeting us warmly. The pool is lovely and the rooms are perfect. They feel bigger than they actually are. The air conditioning worked superbly, which is a major need in Italy during the summer. I have had issues in other Italian hotels with the AC so this was very important that the hotel got right. Breakfast was a good continental and there were plenty of options.

Everything was perfect just some small issues with the room being cleaned. We did have to request towels one day when not given in the standard room refresh and clean. We were also not given additional toilet paper in the refresh and some rubbish was not taken out of the room. That was the only issue, but it would not prevent me from coming back. I will be staying in this hotel again and I encourage others to do so.

Nice hotel, the staff was really nice. We deliberately chose a slightly cheaper accomodation in this range because we couldn't find anything truly 5 star on short notice. So we obviously didn't expect a 5star hotel. This is by far the nicest building around. Its close to the centre and beach, has a nice pool area which not a lot of guests use so its a very good place to chill for a couple of hours. Breakfast was (I think) catered to the UK guests a bit. Lots of eggs, toast, juices etc. More than enough to choose, also for us who prefer a lighter breakfast. Parking wasn't closed off or protected but it doesn't need to be in this area, I'd leave a 100k car there without worries. Maybe not a ferrari though ;). Airconditioning was fine, the room was small but had 2 little balconies. The sinks built in plug didn't work perfectly and the bidet made the bathroom feel a bit cramped. Some sewery smells when I stept into the shower the first time but perfectly clean otherwise. All in all more than I'd expect at this pricepoint. We didn't do any fine dining so had no need for a dry cleaners service etc so cant tell you even if they have the option. For anyone that just needs a nice room and wants to go outside during the day and have food at night its perfect. The hotel is dog friendly but our room was spotlesss; no evidence that a dog had ever set foot in the room. Had a really pleasant 3 days here.

Little things. Sink needs a little help to drain. Shower had some sewery smell untill I let the water run for a bit. Bathroom too small to force a bidet in it. But nothing that was truly not-likeable for a hotel of this price. Pleasantly surprised.

Excellent breakfast, clean rooms with comfy beds, a little balcony with a table and 2 chairs, air conditioning. The staff was very kind and provided us with tips for beaches and sight seeings. The location is about 15'-20' walking distance from the city center and that's fine because we prefer to stay in quiet places. The beach called "Lido dei Pioppi" is a 20' walk along the lakeside. Otherwise you can hire a boat and go somewhere else!

The swimming pool is very small, but we didn't care: there's the largest lake of Italy awaiting, we had no intention of swimming in a pool!

Buena Onda is a small, friendly, family run hotel which sets high standards of customer care. Nothing was too much trouble in helping me out while I was there (early room access; confirming taxi and suggesting an early breakfast on check out morning) . The hotel has been well designed and is very modern throughout and located in a quiet residential area. I was lucky enough to be in a rear top (third) floor suite with a large terrace balcony with distant views of the Lake. The bathroom and high-end shower were immaculate and the bed huge and comfortable. The air conditioning was more or less automatic coming on when patio doors were closed and off when they were open. The hotel is ideally situated for walking into Peschiera and for bus stops; the railway station ; for bars and restaurants and there are supermarkets close-by. The breakfasts are good and can be taken inside or outside. Like all of the other reviews I would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly stay again if visiting Lake Garda.

Alessandra and her family really make you feel at home. Their hospitality gives you a true holiday feeling from the moment you arrive. The hotel is beautiful, cosy and clean. The breakfast is delicious. The pool has a whirlpool area and is very nice and refreshing. The location is perfect in a quiet area, close to Peschiera center, the train station and several bus lines (max.10 minutes walk) to Garda villages, Verona and the airport. If you want a relaxing and heartwarming sweet escape, this is the place to be. ❤️

Great hotel with a very friendly and helpful proprietor. Great location, about 10 minutes walk from the shore of lake Garda. Fabulous delicious breakfast good selection of bread and delicious home made cakes and biscuits. Although the bedroom was a little bit small the bed was very comfortable. Peaceful location in a residential area. Very clean modern and spacious bathroom. Swimming pool. Onsite parking. Will stay again Highly recommend.

Nothing to complain about. I just wish we had made a reservation sooner so we could have stayed a few more nights.

Friendly staff, always smiling. Our kids loved the cute dogs. We had a top floor suite for two adults and two children. It was was much bigger than expected, with two balconies AND an enormous terrace. Very nice little pool. Short walk to bus or train for visiting nearby towns. Great breakfast, with lots of choice, and good coffee. Tip: Sometimes the scrambled eggs at the buffet had meat, but if you prefer it without, they will make fresh scrambled eggs to order. We are vegetarian and had lovely fresh scrambled eggs each morning.

Everything was great. The location is a little outside the old town (just under 15 mins walk), so it might not suit people who are not used to walking. It was fine for us!

Lovely large family room with huge balcony although i wish we had the excellent view of the lake we requested when booking. The pool was perfect! Breakfast was fresh every day.

Didnt like that guest were able to smoke whilst breakfast was being served, on one day the guests on the table next to us was smoking whilst we were eating which we didnt like but we found that a lot in Italy. Maybe allocate an area at the front of the property for smokers.

Breakfast, not huge but had a lovely and tasty selection. Two sweet hotel dogs. Sweet staff/ host family. Close to restaurants and city. Free parking. Modern rooms and bathroom. Large and cool terrace. Water and bubbles waiting for us in the suite. Very helpful intro to the room and guidance to area. Very clean everywhere, good daily cleaning in room. We recommend!!

This appears to be a relatively new and modern hotel. It is relatively small which means that there is individual service. Such a warm welcome. Great that everyone spoke English as my Italian is very limited. Lovely rooms enough space for two people easily. We had a balcony. No view, but nice to sit outside. There is an external area for seating, there is also a small pool with sunbeds and parts in the shade or the sun. Overall really pleased. We were happy with the location but note that it is in a residential area and outside of the main walls of the town.
