Location and Views are the best in the whole of Positano fact !!!! The Staff are Amazing and so Accommodating!! First of all , I do my research before every trip we take and I actually found it so overwhelming with the amount of beautiful hotels here but I'm so delighted we picked Maricanto 🙌 , after walking around and seen all the other hotels where they are located , this hotel is by far the absolute BEST HANDS DOWN , the restaurant is fantastic here but what makes it , is all the staff !!! They are all just fantastic!!! This is their last night of the season and you wouldn't even know the way we were treated during the week !!! They treated us like the start of the season , full of energy ,joy and happiness and so helpful !!! They went above and beyond for us !!! We actually stayed an extra night because of the Amazing Staff ! A special thanks to Dario for the free upgrade for our Anniversary , and all his recommendations!! He was exceptional , he booked all our reservations for ferries , restaurants, airport transport !!! Thank you Dario for making our trip perfect x and also a big thank you to Joel !! ,for all you're knowledge of italy and recommendations for restaurants !!! Thank you x The cleaning ladies were acceptional, every night we had a knock on the door to see if we needed any more towels or refreshments x Just 5 STAR STAFF ALL ROUND X Thank you for making our first time experience in Positano Unbelievable xxx Now go enjoy you're break !!! Everything Was Amazing 👏

The location was fabulous and the view from our Junior Suite was stunning. The breakfast each morning was beautiful. All the staff were very friendly especially the beautiful Paulo at front desk. The gentleman who assisted us down at the beach was extremely helpful.

They need new pillows.. the ones in our room were flat. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were inedible. Extremely runny bordering on raw.. Why no cocktails at the beach club??? the drinks were horrible. Was so sad to see people enjoying beautiful cocktails and food from the bar/restaurant next door (blue and white umbrellas) but we were told we were not allowed to purchase. That we had to order from the Marincanto bar. There was only warmish white wine which was horrible.. No snacks by the beach.. :(

Well... This was Positano. Is there such thing as a bad location??? Considering that we did choose the "economy" room, I suppose I can't complain about having a small space. In Positano, you'll want to be out and about enjoying the beach and all the amazing things that are unique to this splendid location, so the size of your room isn't too important. It's just place to sleep after your daily excursions. That being said, everything else was top notch. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was wonderfully friendly & responsive at all times. I also loved their breakfast buffet and their restaurant was amazing. We tried a few different places to eat while we were in Positano, and the Marincanto restaurant ranked right up there with the best of what we had. To show just how much they take care of their customers... Our shower stall didn't have a soap dish on the shower wall. We mentioned it at the front desk, and they sent a hotel worker up to our room to install one for us. That was really astounding.

What a fabulous hotel! I can't wait to return. The views from the terrace for breakfast (fabulous buffet!) were the highlight of our entire two week trip to Italy! Our room was huge with a gorgeous view, and we loved sitting on the terrace in the evenings watching the twinkling lights of the town! Just stunning. Absolutely loved the beach set-up. They have lounge chairs, umbrellas, towels and a waiter taking drink orders, which were fabulous! No need to go to a beach club, this one is included! (And the posh beach club next to it has the most fabulous lunch!) The pool! We just sat staring out at the boats and water for hours from the infinity edge pool. Dario the Concierge was so accommodating and helpful- he really went above and beyond to make sure our stay and the logistics of our arrival and departure were seamless. Try to make your restaurant reservations well in advance, the best spots are hard to get into last minute. The location is wonderful, too! The stroll into town in the evening will take your breath away. So gorgeous. Loved this town, loved this hotel.

Nothing. Everything was great. Not too stuffy or formal, just lovely and clean.

The property was gorgeous - the view was beautiful, the restaurant was beautiful, the rooms were beautiful and our favourite part was the beach access. The location was incredible - you were slightly removed so it wasn’t directly in the craze of all of the tourists but still could access restaurants within a five minute walk. The staff was all personable and incredibly helpful and we loved getting to know them.

The location is amazing right on the edge of town with the best view (5 min walk to the busiest part of positano). The hotel has a private beach with sun loungers free of charge which is next to a beach club with a good vibe serving nice cocktails. It also has swimming pool facilities, the restaurant food is exceptional (although hot breakfast options could have been better), lovely wine selection and nice spacious rooms (with jacuzzi bath). Team are very sweet too. Parking cost is also reasonable and onsite.

I remember seeing a gym in the photos which it does not have anymore.

We are so glad we booked the Marincanto for our trip to Positano! There couldn't have been a better choice for us. The staff was super friendly and very attentive, the food in the restaurant was excellent, and the room was very spacious and had a breathtaking view. We also really loved the infinity pool and the private beach - unparalleled in Positano (to our knowledge). Our stay was magical. We will be back!

Such a gorgeous hotel!!! it’s right in the center Positano the views from the hotel are breathtaking!!! the location is perfect near the beach and by the restaurants! Amazing personal! A special thanks to Paulo he is fantastic, he helped us to feel very comfortable and welcoming. Also helped to book all the restaurants and taxi without any problems! The best breakfast ever with so much selection of food and pastries, salads and fresh juices. Coffee is great too! Very clean bedsheets and smells great!

at the beach you only get one towel, but I guess it’s not a problem because you can always bring your towel from the room ;)

What a beautiful hotel, with incredible views. I thought our room was incredible, big and bright with easy access to the pool. The terrace is also stunning.

There was nothing to eat from 3:30 until dinner which was a shame because we arrived at 330 and were starving! There should be an option to be able to eat during that time. I also didn’t understand the shared space at the beach and lack of food or drink when you’re Al the way down the stairs at the beach.

Fantastic views, Great staff and a beautiful room. Loved the private beach access, sun deck and pool. Lot's of steps to get to the street or beach, but that's the deal and it wasn't aweful. Great breakfast too!

They have a nice restaurant at the hotel. Ideally, the menu could be a little more 'american' or just have pasta dishes and some safe options. Most meals on the menu include fish. Not everybody likes fish
