The location was great for walking into town. The bus stop is close, which can take you to neighbouring Sorrento and Almalfi. The staff are helpful and friendly, breakfast on the balcony is great.

No real issues, the location may not be for everyone, due to stairs or hill climbs.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing always having a bright smile on their faces. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Positano to enjoy the Italian hospitality. The hotel is well connected to two bus stops which are just stone throw away.

Tried to think about it, but couldn't find any :)

Antonio was very accommodating and knowledgeable in transportation and places to go. My ferry schedule was cancelled and I needed help. I felt bad, but he attended to me even when it was 9.50pm and guided and explained me about a bus ticket and bus stop. He was so warm and friendly. I am so grateful for his help. My room wasn’t ready when I checked in and he gave me orange juice while I enjoyed the view in the restaurant. The housekeepers were awesome and did a good job. The floor was mopped and was very much almost dried when I entered. The room was nicely clean and smelled good and fresh. I travelled solo during this trip and felt safe and comfortable. The room is comfortable and roomy and the view is spectacular. I requested for the breakfast to be sent to my room to have it at the balcony and the service was quick during my 2 night stay ranging between 5 and less than 15 minutes wait. I’d love to visit and stay here again. The bathroom was lovely and the water in the shower was awesome. There were toiletries and slippers given. The air conditioning worked well. Thank you Antonia and every staff in Villa Palumbo for your beautiful hospitality.

Nothing at all although I wished that the wifi was a bit more strong. Everything was awesome.

Balcony and the view were amazing! Breakfast was also delicious an enough.room was big and comfortable but shower was really small.

Room was generally old but acceptable. Actually location was good because there is a bus stop near but we did not use it so much because we rented a scooter. And the Most important thing is the mistake that we did it 😄 WALKING TO THE HOTEL!! Google maps shows just 300 m and we thought that it is okey we can do it but DONT WALK DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! There are too many steps!! Maybe staff could be more helpful in this topic.

It was rather close to the SITA Bus stop, without luggage you could take the stairs as a shortcut, however we chose to walk along the bending main road as we had luggage. Distance was still manageable. Not exactly located near the centro storico but with walking down the stairs (about 250-300 steps) is manageable, we took the internal bus back up and bus stop was right outside villa palumbo. Room was as advertised, toilet was a little dated but the functions were met. One of the mornings we had to leave early before breakfast timing and the staff kindly arranged some packed breakfast for us the night before. On our last morning, we requested for breakfast in room balcony at no additional charge. Generally, Antionio and other staff on duty are very personable and friendly, always ready to answer our questions. Would recommend👍🏻

So happy with our choice to stay here! While all of Positano is expensive, we were looking for affordable but comfortable accommodation. Boy did we get lucky here, and you will too. One of the best little hotels I have ever stayed in. A beautiful Italian family runs the accommodation. Their service was impeccable. We saw they have a cute bunny rabbit called Demon in their living space below the hotel rooms. So cute! The price of an Aperol spritz here is half the price of anywhere you'll find in the rest of Positano. Perfect to have a drink and admire the spectacular views from your room or the hotel balcony. Quintessential Italian hospitality at its best. Stay up here, better views and great areas to eat! Definitely coming back to stay here.

No complaints.

The veranda looking out it so beautiful. Looking up at the mountain was priceless. It’s so close to the main bus stop to other places. But if arriving by boat - it’s several hundred steps up. Big steps. The breakfast was so incredible- and the two male receptionists were really nice and bello. Breakfast was lovely. So big. And you can order it to your veranda as well. Such a lovely touch.

I could clearly hear the next door rooms conversation. And I thought they were in the corridor. But it was actually just that the wall was super thin. Heard them leave at 4am to fly back to the US too. Shame as otherwise lovely.

The view from the balcony of the room was amazing!!! And the large balcony was definitely our favorite thing about the villa.. We can just spent hours after a long day here, winding down while enjoying some drinks and the view. I also love how the staff & owner were very friendly and accomodating to your needs as well.. We will definitely recommend Villa Palumbo to everyone! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

No parking space. So if you rent a vespa or car, you need to park it on public parking place. That’s the only downside, which won’t be a problem if you don’t rent any transport.

The room has a great view. You had to take 430 stairs down which was no issue. Take your time coming back up. We ordered room service for breakfast. Amazing on the balcony looking out over Postiano. Croissant were the best I had and still warm. Beautiful breakfast. Staff was very efficient and gave excellent service ipon checking in and out, and parking for our driver to drop us off. I love my experience

Everything was fine. I quess there were small areas of mildew but not enough to change my review. I would stay again!

The view. The property is just beautiful and the view from the room and balcony is breathtaking.

I just can’t give this beautiful place a 10/10 due to the thin walls. It may sound petty but you can just hear everything from the rooms both sides, especially toilet noises and flushing. We had someone next door being violently ill all night and they might as well have been in our bathroom. Not a pleasant experience. I realise this can’t be helped but it really did ruin one of our beautiful two nights spent at this beautiful accommodation.
