Lovely room and great hosts. Views from the room with breakfast in morning start the day off right. Host went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Highly recommend

The walk to the beach. I saw ppl mention that it was a 15 min walk to the beach. Please bear in mind this is what the gps says but its is not your average 15 min walk as you are climbing stairs the entire way. It took me 30 mins to walk back from the beach one night and when I arrived to the room I was drenched in sweat and my calves were on fire. Mind you I'm pretty fit, at least I thought lol. If you want the view be prepared to pay for a taxi if you're not up for a walk.

We had the most incredible breakfast and an unforgettable stay during our Amalfi trip, all thanks to Pepe and his wonderful family. From the minute we arrived to the time we left, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and at home. Pepe was incredibly hospitable, giving us great recommendations on what to do and where to go, and even met with us in the center. The room was clean, spacious, and the view was spectacular. The breakfast was one to remember. We would definitely recommend this place to family and friends, and we can't wait to return!

Casa Mandara was very clean and beautiful, with an excellent view from the balcony. Sitting on the balcony at night was a dreamy experience. The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating, even offering us breakfast a bit earlier than usual to account for our early departure. We had a wonderful experience at this B&B.

This place is wonderful, but does feel a bit far away from everything. The stairs to get to and from the main city center and beach can be intense. Lots of exercise. Also to note, you cannot see the sea from the balcony, but it’s still gorgeous.

Homemade pastry that tastes exceptionally and even reminded me of some sweets from childhood(with apricot) You can easily get there by bus (the bus stop is a 2-3 min walk to the apartment ) View. That is what you will not forget and love about the stay, especially having breakfast served for you there. Unforgettable experience You also get some nearby local shops and great pizza

The walking distance (in general we climbed 108 flights that are measured as 3 meters in 2 days). But alternatively, you can get a bus or taxi

The breakfast on the balcony, combined with the wonderful view made every morning feel like we were waking up to a fairytale. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Our stay in Positano - even though it is a beautiful place by itself - was made even more special by this property. :) I’m glad I chose it. It was clean, it had all the amenities one could need and even though we preferred to take the stairs most of the time for the workout, it is pretty easily accessible via bus. Loved it!

The room was beautiful, spacious and included a large terrace with an incredible view. Maria and Pepe and their employee, Gina, were attentive and supportive during our stay. They provided advice and also made some spa appointments for us. Breakfast was included and delivered each morning to our terrrace. There were 2 options - we tried both and loved them both. We would stay at Casa Mandara again without question.

Casa Mandara was a perfect place to start off our honeymoon in Italy. Pepe was very kind and available anytime we needed anything. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast on the beautiful balcony with an absolutely incredible view! Gina, the woman who cleaned the room while we were there, was also incredibly sweet and went above and beyond during our stay. Would highly recommend!

The property is towards the top of Positano and a bit off the main road, so it’s a lot of stairs down and then back up to reach the main beach where many restaurants and stores are. This wasn’t necessarily a problem, just something to consider when you’re booking your stay/packing your bags!

The Casa Mandara staff made us feel like we were family. Luigi went above and beyond by communicating with me from taking our order for breakfast, giving us tips to get to the B&B, booking us a taxi to get to my next destination and letting us store our luggage. We would recommend Casa Mandara to anyone who wants to feel like they’re at home except with a gorgeous view from the beautiful balcony. PS. best breakfast on our entire Italy trip!

Getting to and from the beach was a little taxing - a lot of steps and/or winding roads with inclines. There is a bus that takes you up and down the hills however! Regardless of the trek down/uphill - it is worth the view!!!

A wonderful gem in Positano! Pepe and his family were extremely accomodating and responsive. Pepe helped us carry our luggage and was very detailed in his explanations. The breakfast too was also of high standard and the pictures don’t do the views and place justice. It was the little things, like their attentiveness, the L’occitane amenities provided, the beautiful cutlery to even the Netflix. Highly highly recommend.

Fantastic place to stay in Positano. Clean, comfortable, great balcony and breakfast. Luigi looked after us and was extremely helpful organising our taxi to the airport. He was available 24/7 for questions. Luigi’s dad has a scooter hire place and organised a scooter for us which was fantastic. There’s a great pizza place (menu in the room) that does take away to take advantage of the great balcony view. FYI I would choose the bus over the taxi as there’s a bus stop on top of the hill that is a 250m walk down hill instead of a ferry right from the bottom. Saves walking stairs. Stairs are to be expected in Positano but it gives you a chance to explore and find restaurants/ bars on the way down
