A little quieter town compared to others , the views was absolutely incredible. The hotel is very cute , it is run by a family , the staff are so attentive they are all so nice, guest was well looked after. Breakfast was great , not too much but not so little. Dinner was incredible , so much food ! It is like going to your grandmas house feel. You will not go hungry in this place anyway. Our room is spacious , clean, bright and the balcony gave sunrise and sunset views. The hotel also offers boat trips to Capri (extra fee) which is convenient you don’t have to travel it is just at the beach below. This town is also close to Positano or Amalfi , bus stop is only across the road. Small like private beach down , it is 350 steps it’s not for the weak , but for space , scenery , peaceful? It is worth it.

Nobody likes stairs , but unfortunately this is Europe. It is 80 steps to go down the hotel , think of it as the stair master in the gym. Although there is an alternative route from the church so you can skip the stairs to go up especially if with a lot of luggage’s which is convenient.

AMAZING VIEWS!! The hotel was absolutely beautiful. Best sunset on the Amalfi Coast. It is much more quiet and relaxing than Positano and it is just a 20 minute bus ride to Positano. Definitely opt for a room with a seaview. The views were the absolute highlight of the hotel! Breakfast was good with lots of fruit, pastries, cheeses and cold cuts.

The dinners were not great. You could tell they were trying to cut costs. One evening our dessert was just a piece of watermelon and the other evening it was two peaches. The salad was the same every evening (tomatoes, lettuce, corn and dressing). We love simple Italian meals but this was just not great. If they would just hire a trained chef they could easily transition to a 4-star hotel! Bar fridge was not working and there was no tea and coffee station in the room.

The outdoor terrace was a great size and we enjoyed lovely views over the ocean.

The bathroom was poorly ventilated and smelt. The mattress needed replacement and we endured an uncomfortable sleep.

View was amazing, pictures don’t do it justice. Considering the location, there wasn’t too many stairs to reach the property which we were grateful for. When we booked this place, we didn’t realise breakfast & dinner was included in our stay so that surprised us and we were very pleased. Room was a little tight for 4 people as well as luggage but we made it work. Room was cleaned everyday & towels changed if needed. Super super close to bus stop 7 which can get you both busses to and from amalfi coast & Positano There’s a private hidden beach below property which we visited each day, it’s a bit of a hike (around 500 stairs) but well worth it, no one was there! Very close to scooter rental place, & local supermarket

Staff wasn’t very friendly. There is no parking (which makes sens in that area, but understood differently from the description) the swimming pool is open only from 10/13 and 15/19

The staff was always attentive to our needs. I read comments talking about dinner and its options: we were asked from the moment we arrived if we had allergies or a specific diet. The incredible view, the superlative cleanliness, breakfast and dinner more than varied, the unbeatable price for the Amalfi coast, make Hotel Villa Bellavista the best choice. About parking: parking is a problem everywhere on the amalfi coast and is expensive, when you come here you have to come with this in mind. There is a parking near the hotel, 40 E per day or on the blue zone in street. Thank you!

We can't put into words what a wonderful hotel this is. Of the 5 hotels in the south of Italy where we stayed, this one exceeded all our expectations. Here, both breakfast and dinner are included in the price of accommodation - it is very convenient. Dinners are simply a pleasure, it consists of several courses - there is meat, fish and vegetables, we have not eaten such a variety in any restaurant in Italy :))) The hostesses of the hotel are wonderful - they were very caring and attentive to us. We enjoyed living here, thank you!

The views were stunning, you won’t find any as nice anywhere. It’s a gorgeous little place The Help yourself Breakfast was a little hit and miss, the fruit wasn’t good but the pastries were and there was a large selection. Staff were lovely and friendly Wine and beer good value! Room basic but clean and painted well.

The owner was quite rude to us when we moved a plant at the “ swimming pool” as it was blocking our path ( there are huge plant pots everywhere! On tables, on the hot tub, blocking doors etc) the other staff were lovely. He ranted in Italian , moved the pot back and kept hissing at us from his sun lounger! The evening meal was beyond bad! We sat at our table and was told what it was, courgette and pasta, then aubergine and tomatoes in sauce and chips. We asked if there was another main meal option and were told we could have yesterdays meat which we had…. It was AWFUL, deep fried thin piece of meat in a soggy batter and 5 chips! We both took a mouthful but couldnt eat it. Dessert was melted ice cream that we chose not to drink!

The hotel was perfect for a short trip to the Amalfi Coast. Our room had a large balcony with an amazing sea view. Everywhere was clean and tidy and facilities were exactly what we required. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, organising taxis and providing information on the local area. The boat taxi from the hotel to Positano is highly recommended.

A wider variety of dairy/gluten alternatives at breakfast would have been appreciated for members of our party with intolerances.

The ocean view from our room was fantastic. The breakfast buffet (included) was outstanding: cheese, ham, pastries, toast, yogurt, granola, hard boiled eggs, fruit, tea, coffee, juice. The staff was very friendly. Room was a good size and the bed comfortable. Location was convenient to the local bus stop. Lots of flowers and plants inside and out. Beautiful tile floors. Plenty of closet space for hanging clothes. WiFi (included) worked well.

Minor issues: 1) Limited drawer space for clothes so we didn't unpack the suitcases; 2) Only two electrical outlets in the room, and none near the desk; 3) Pillows not supportive. The only serious negative from our perspective: a lot of steps down/up from the main road. We counted over 100 steps from our room to the road (approximately 30 steps were within the hotel). Not great for someone with knee or mobility issues, or for moving luggage. No formal porter service is available but the owner's son helped carry our luggage up when we departed. Of course, almost anywhere on the Amalfi Coast will have a similar problem with steps.
