The hotel is INCREDIBLE. We were completely mesmerised when we arrived and saw the reception, the views, the many spaces to relax and enjoy. The best thou, was Elena the receptionist. She made our honey moon stay at Gran Hotel Tritone wonderful! Alfonso was really great too, and Ana Elisa from the bar! That being said... the breakfast is poor. It doesn't correspond to the level of the hotel.

The only bad thing: the breakfast. It was poor service, poor bread, and food would run out. While the waiters tried their best to make you have a good time, the staff working at the buffet weren't attentive to details. There was just 1 loaf of bread for the whole 4 hours of breakfast and when it was over... it was over! No refill. Literally I've never seen this before. It's hard to write it down how things were, but it was just a really bad service at the breakfast. The staff at the buffet could not be bothered to make an effort and refill empty bowls.

This hotel has an amazing vibe with the most incredible views. The staff was helpful in arranging transportation and the water taxi from Positano was fantastic

There is only a shuttle to Praiano in the evening and no options to Positano. With only having one restaurant available for lunch you are limited. The final day we arranged the water taxi to catch the ferry and the lift was broken to get to the beach which caused us to have to taxi to positano. It would be helpful to have a second option to reach the beach.

The location and views were outstanding - if anything, better than the website was able to convey. Views both towards Praiano and in the other direction towards Positano, from different parts of the hotel are just mesmerising! The height above the sea is incredible - thank goodness for the lift to the beach club. The rooms were very nice too, and the terrace by the bar was lovely. The staff were also really helpful and welcoming (apart from the restaurant manager)

The hotel restaurants are all super-expensive (even for this type of hotel) and not good value for money - and the food was OK, but not that special. The waiters also didn't know about wine at all and tried to palm us off with a very different and unpleasant wine from the one we asked for (but was no longer available). We chose to travel to Praiano for dinner! The taxis around Amalfi coast are also ridiculously expensive (and I come from London!!) - 40 euros for a 10 minute ride to Positano... This isn't the hotel's fault but this will put a lot of tourists off. At least the hotel does provide a free shuttle service in the evening to Praiano (but would be good to extend this to the day too)

We had a double room with beautiful view of the coast. The staff were super accommodating. They arranged a water taxi to Amalfi and free car to Positano. Morning breakfast was delightful overlooking Positano and the sea. Dinner in their restaurant was exquisite. What we liked the best was it is located in between Amalfi and Positano with its own private beach. Scenery is spectacular and you don’t have to deal with all the crowds in the towns.

Nothing - we had some overcast and a day of rain but that was all we could have wanted to change. The Grand Tritone was excellent! Would stay again.

Grand Hotel Tritone exceeded our expectations. It is absolutely gorgeous. The view from our balcony was spectacular. The walk to the private beach was an adventure and we found new little nooks to explore daily. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We loved swimming in the sea and relaxing both seaside and at the pool. We ate at the beach Restaurant for lunch and dinner one night at the hotel restaurant (we had the 4 course tasting menu - delicious!). There was a free shuttle to drive us to Praiano in the evenings. We also did the boat tour to Capri which was amazing! The bar has exceptional service and views. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was perfect!

The location was the best! The hotel has two pools and a private beach with elevator access. There is a dock for catching a boat/water taxi and walkable to the cute city center of Praiano. The food at all the hotel’s restaurants was beyond amazing both in taste and service. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the rooms were well appointed. The cherry on top for our family was Oliver, the owners dog who happily greeted guests day and night. We just left yesterday and already want to come back!

Taxis are expensive! This isn’t the hotels fault but we weren’t prepared to pay 80 euro one way for a two mile (20 minute) drive into Positano. Taxi to Naples Airport was 250 euro one way. Again, nothing to do with the hotel but it would have helped to know so we had more cash on hand. Would still stay again 1000%

This hotel was beyond our expectations. From the small nondescript door you walk into from the road, it opens up into an amazing lobby with a tree growing inside and a spectacular view laid out before you. Rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. They offered huge armoires to keep your clothes and suitcases so that your room stayed tidy. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The views from every window were awesome. Be prepared for a lot of hallways, elevators and confusion to get to your room. It took 4 elevators to get to the lower pool deck. Part of the charm of a hotel carved into a cliff. You will not be disappointed.

The view, the facilities, and the whole setting were fantastic. I never would that it could be possible to build such an amazing facility. The location next to Priano turned out to be far better than being close to Positano.

It is a seasonal hotel, so when one goes early in the season, some of the younger newly-hired staff do not yet know everything they are supposed to. Nevertheless, one can see that they are eager to please when requested. The senior staff is most professional.

We were spoilt by the staff here, Alfonso contacted us a week earlier than our stay to organise boat trips, Vespa hire, and dinner reservations, so it was all organised on arrival. It wasn't cheap, but it was by far the most premium hotel we stayed in during our trip. The location is perfect, out of the way from the crowds but easily accessible. There's also a lift to a private beach so you can swim in the ocean at anytime (except night). The breakfast buffet is outstanding.

It would be great if the pool was opened a little later.

What an outstanding property, the views from our room where stunning and a perfect definition of relaxation Location is quite good to stay in the property and maybe walk to Praiano. The property offers free night shuttle (golf cart) to and from Praiano-Htl If you have a car (brave of you) it is a prime location to move around the area, although in other places (amalfi or Positano) parking is none existent or extremly hard The breakfast was our strong meal of the day, and service was great

We did not had the best meals at the Bistro, we tasted 4 or 5 of the dishes there and it was really not tasty (and pricey)
