The view from the property was amazing and can't be beat. The staff was super nice and helpful and even helped us book a car service to Salerno. The common terrace where breakfast was served was beautiful and such a great way to start the day. The room we stayed in was basic but had an amazing view from the window. The bed was just okay in regards to comfort; nothing fabulous but not bad for a few nights.

As others have said the 200 stair hike up to town is pretty brutal. We are in decent shape and were out of breath at the top. However, the price of the property for the view is hard to beat just beware it's not an easy 200 steps. Also, just a simple note, we stayed in the triple room (Emerald room 6) and the description mentions a terrace which I assumed to mean off the room, however this refers to the common terrace, which is beautiful and spectacular just not what I was expecting. Our room had a large window with a great view. The description also mentions that the room has bathrobes which were not present. Again, not significant but wanted to mention as you select your room and property.

This was a wonderful hotel. The staff were fantastic and made our honeymoon stay all the more special with welcome prosecco. The hotel had a beautiful view and terrace for breakfast. Everything was very clean and orderly. Very nice accommodations.

This isn't even a negative, but want to point it out. It is a 5-10min walk to the town center but via stairs. This is true for practically anywhere on the Amalfi coast. It wasn't an issue for us as we did the stairs countless times during our stay. It may be an issue if you are not comfortable with a large amount of stairs.

Staying at Villa Annabelle felt like visiting a dear friend. From the moment we arrived, Viviana’s warmth and hospitality welcomed us, making us feel not just welcome but genuinely at home. The view from the hotel is incredible. The staff was excellent and friendly and spoke English, which helped us. The room was large, especially compared to other European hotels. It was clean and well-appointed. It was peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was great. We really enjoyed our stay. A very sweet Ravello cat named Lucy lives at the hotel and my kids loved playing with her.

Nothing the hotel can do about it, but the stairs leading up to town are no joke. There are a lot! It’s about a ten minute walk up the stairs to town. The stairs are right across the street from the hotel, so at least that makes it easier. Following the road to town (if you don’t want to take the stairs) is uphill. It’s just the way Ravello was built. You get a little exercise in on the way to dinner. We thought there was a pool at the hotel, based on booking.com reviews and description, but the hotel does not have a pool. There is a public pool in the adjoining hotel that is 20 euro/person, but it was closed when we were there.

Ravello is an expensive city overall but this location was less than 10 minutes (all uphill as most things are in Ravello!) walk from the Villa Ruffalo and center of Ravello and the views of the coast were beyond compare. It's not the most glamorous location overall but the rooms were very nicely done--clean and simple--and the bathrooms were nice as well. Breakfast was ordered in advance and they were so lovely in making and delivering it on the beautiful patio in the morning. My kids loved the cats that were around as well. There's a pool next door (they charge for entry) and we would have definitely used it but ran out of time. Very convenient. Staff was exceptionally lovely.

I've stayed here twice and LOVE it! I want to keep this place a secret but I have to review it because it's perfect. steps next to the property lead to the town of Maiori and that was a great day trip. Parking was huge for me seeing we had a car, this was in a gated area which made me feel safe. Friendly and wonderful staff, breakfast was perfect, room is beautiful. Only place I will say when I'm visiting Ravello.

The water pressure in the shower didn't work well and it kept changing from hot to cold. I didn't care though because everything else was wonderful.

Great location to travel from around the are. Staff is amazing! Great service and welcoming people, always smiling and willing to every thing to make the stay worthwhile. The rooms are like zimmers and there are 3 in each branch, in the first night we had another family in our branch and it wasn’t ideal… however the rest of the nights we were on our own and felt much better! I highly recommend it. We were there for 3 nights and traveled to Amalfie and Napoli, I recommend staying in Ravello 2 nights max as there isn’t much to do there …

The location was ideal. There are steps out the door to town center, yet located below the hustle and bustle in a quiet setting overlooking the ocean. The breakfast is amazing, served on the terrace with panoramic views and just such an amazing way to start the day. The room was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. The vibe is very quiet, so you immediately feel so relaxed, especially if you are coming from the town center of Amalfi!

This place was terrific. I have nothing bad to say!

The staff were very courteous and polite, the breakfast was very generous where you fill out a form what you like for the next morning and you eat on their terrace with amazing views. Our departure was very early in the morning so the staff even made us a to go box with breakfast for our car ride to the airport which was very nice of them to do.

I don't think anything could have been better

The view from the Gala Residence is truly outstanding. The breakfast had delicious pastries, fruit, yogurt, ricotta pancakes, meat,cheese, cereal. The pastries were the best we’ve had here.. we were traveling with friends and we had rooms 5 and 6 which were in our own little shaded alcove with a couch and chairs outside (not facing the water) but it provided a great place to sit and talk. We had a pretty big car so they gave us a key to a garage across the street where we had a big spot to park our car. All parking is free!

We had a room with a king size bed, and a twin bed. And when my husband caught a cold. I switched to the single bed, which was extremely hard. The king bed is very comfortable though. There are 180 steps to get to the center of town or you can walk up the street about 10 minutes. It didn’t bother me but you should be aware of this. There was a pool that looked to be on the property, but it is actually a public pool and I was told it is €20 to get in.
