Absolutely loved the breakfast and the room was also gorgeous. We had a very comfortable stay minus a hiccup upon checkin

Overall it was a nice stay but the check-in was unpleasant. We had booked an airport taxi. However, for reasons completely out of our control the bags were late in delivery by a couple of hours. However, the check in staff chose to insinuate the delay was our fault which was quite shocking. What are we to do? We had checked in with the driver periodically to keep him updated of the situation. After a chaotic arrival at FCO we were relived to finally arrive at the hotel but were taken aback by the attitude of the staff. Thankfully the rest of the stay went without hiccup but it would be nice to approach situations with kindness...

I was very impressed honestly. The hotel is a very small Boutique Hotel but the service is grand and the rooms are large, luxurious and beautiful. The location couldn't be any better in the historic center and everything noteworthy is in walking distance. The staff is very caring, helpful and kind. They welcome you with a coffee, they'll tell you where to go and where to eat to make the most of your stay, and are always available. The breakfast is served in the small lobby but it's exquisite!l. Everything is freshly made. The room is beautiful, very modern and stylish but has this amazing old wooden ceiling. It's also very large. It's equipped with a fully stocked mini bar and a Nespresso Coffee Machine and everything you might need.I really enjoyed every moment. Thank you!

The WiFi-Internet is a bit slow and the 5G signal is weak inside the room, so if you want to stream something on your phone or laptop you may struggle with the speed a bit. It didn't really bother us tho.

So much character!! Location was perfect!! We walked everywhere! Very clean!! April was amazing! So attentive! She and her staff made us the best breakfast, pastries, yogurt and more! They put a lot of heart into everything they did for their guests! Highly recommend.

Next time I would book earlier and get the larger room , possibly with a balcony. Our room did not have much natural light as we had the smallest room and there was construction right outside so we didn’t open the curtains. Not the fault of Domus, just timing. Plus, we usually Like a little extra space but it wasnt available.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Domus Libera in Rome, and it was truly a fantastic experience. I had an enquiry outside of reception hours, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a prompt response within minutes. This level of care and attention made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself is housed in a charming traditional building, which beautifully contrasts with the modern, spacious, and elegant rooms. My room was the perfect blend of comfort and style, offering a serene retreat in the heart of the bustling city. I would definitely return to Domus Libera on my next trip to Rome and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch stay with an unbeatable location and excellent service 😊

The property is superbly located with all main tourist attractions within walking distance. The room was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The staff were superb and very helpful with any requests. Breakfast was delicious and a wide choice was available. Highly recommended.

There was a slight smell of the drains in the bathroom. Nothing that a dose of bleach down the drainage wouldn’t sort out.

This little hotel is a real gem Tucked away in a small alleyway ,its location is perfect -being within a short walking distance from all the major attractions,surrounded by restaurants and cafes and bus stop to the termini. Very little noise from outside or other guests The staff are most friendly , knowledgeable and professional.communication was excellent and instructions for arriving after reception closed were clear Breakfast, served in the reception area is delicious, plentiful and varied every day with home made items . The room was large for a city centre, bed very comfortable and linen changed every 2 days

Don’t be put off by the alleyway to reach the hotel. Though narrow and dark it felt very safe and access through the main door was secure and rapid

Very centrally located. Lovely boutique hotel, lovely breakfast. We had it served one morning on our balcony. Staff very helpful & accommodating. Walkable to Trevi fountain, the Pantheon & the colloseium.

Only downside was the street outside at night was sometimes noisy.

the location was amazing, super close to public transport and the city center; the staff was very helpful with travel recommendations and general help, they were warm and homely, the bed was very compfy, the bathroom clean and modern.

Very big room (and bathroom) for Rome. Also, breakfast delivered to the room was great.

The only drawback is the super small elevator (two thin people with two carry-ons need to stack the carry-ons to fit in the elevator), but unfortunately that cannot be changed.

The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower good and excellent location. The welcome wine and nibbles was appreciated. Staff were helpful. The breakfast was nice.

The breakfast room was far too small. The small road it fronted on to has a very unpleasant smell.
