Very good location. Walking distance to all attractions. 5 min walk to Termini train station Hotel is very fancy with cool retro lift and furniture. Comfortable and clean room. Good service. Good reception.

Bathroom is very old. The shower was brocken and falling to your head while using it. Toilet was also very old, functional though. Bathroom ventilation was too noisy. Breakfast quality was good, but options very limited and same every day. With all cons, I still give 9 score.

The location is great, it is near the train station, and not far from Colosseum and other attractions. The room was ok, the towels and soaps were changed every day. The breakfast was perfect, with lots of options like pancakes, sausages, eggs, fruits, jams, vegetables, cereals, pies, sweets and many types of fruit juice. One of the things that I really liked was the bar, great service. When you get a drink the staff gives you lots of snacks. I also tried the private jacuzzi, with sauna and steam bath which also included towels, robes, slippers and a glass of champagne with snacks.

The wifi is slow, too slow.

I liked the hotel; I really liked the decor, and the staff was helpful. Buffet breakfast had a lot of different items to choose from. We ate at the restaurant twice and were happy each time with the food and drinks and wonderful service. I was a little worried about the location, but it has great access to Termini station. We had about a 20-minute walk to the Spanish steps area and when we got tired, we bought the hop on hop off tour for other sights and then ended by the hotel at Termini. Our hotel room didn't have a great view but did have a large window to open for fresh air. Taxi from the hotel to FCO was 50 euro and came within minutes of being called. Very clean hotel and very tall ceilings. Nice fluffy towels!

Bed was a bit hard, and room had a cold feel to it. I think due it being all tiled. Due to cooler weather, the roof top was closed when we were there.

The hotel location is excellent just few meters from termini station the staff are very friendly and helpful The rooms were clean and quite , but overheated which we immediately solved by asking the receptionist to turn heating off as it was to hot.

The breakfast is a served as a buffet but we had to complain as the warm buffet was everything cold, We had to ask them to heat up the stuff for us as they where too cold. They provide only one sort of cheese and it is finely cut and if you go a bit later for breakfast it has dried up and tastes like plastic. the rest was all ok yogurt, muesli juices, toasts Croissants etc .

I have stayed here in the past. Great location - 5 minutes walk to the main train station and easy access to the historical center - about 20-30 minute walk or take the metro from the train station. The ruins of the old Roman baths are across the street along with a great church and the musuem across the street is a great visit. Plenty of restaurant in the area. With the train station you are only 30 minutes from the Airport by direct train. The hotel - and this is the only downside - really needs some maintenance - mostly cosmetic.

Beautifully decorated in a classic style, loved all the gilt-framed mirrors everywhere and the original period lift from probably 100 years ago (they have a modern one too), that operates in the middle of a grand, marble sweeping staircase to the floors. Staff were friendly, professional and courteous and the room was lovely and comfortable, had all the ameneties we required and a cute balcony too.

I think only the coffee at breakfast could be improved, this is Rome after all ; )

Good location with many restaurants at walking distance. Hotel has charm for its architecture; the rooftop terrace and bar were very nice. Staff was very helpful and almost everyone could either communicate in English or Spanish. Included breakfast was very good.

Beds were comfortable but not too much and not long enough (I am 6' 1")... Room needed retouch paint.

This was a last-minute booking. We arrived in Italy a day sooner than originally planned because a hurricane was impacting travel out of the US. We wanted a hotel near Termini to catch a train to Florence the next day. The Golden Tulip Hotel worked perfectly and was close to several very good restaurants and tourist sites. And the hotel was beautiful and comfortable. Check-in was quick and easy, and the clerks were friendly. The rooftop bar offered a spectacular sunset view of Rome, and the bartender provided quick and friendly service. Despite reading several negative reviews from previous guests, we were quite pleased with the accommodations and service.

The location was perfect. A walkable distance to most attractions. It was about 4mins walk to the Roma Termini. There are restaurants, supermarkets close by as well. Overall it was a good experience

The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. Very quiet at the night. Great mattresses on the bed that give you a really good rest. Very polite and helpful staff in the hotel. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. Amazing rooftop terrasse with cocktail bar! I really enjoyed its location in the city centre where everything is within walking distance.
