Really good location for tourists, in the historic area of Rome, walk to the tourist areas. Metro is close by and not far from Opera house of Rome. Staffs are super friendly, everytime you went in the hotel, they greeted you. Many restaurants and bars around, very conveniet to stay.

Very small room, not much room for the big luggages. Breakfast was terrible. The lift is super small can only fit one person.

We absolutely loved Hotel Centro, it was our first time staying in Rome and found the location to be great, literally a few minutes walk to the Colosseum and other attractions. There are many great bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk also, we felt we were close enough to everything without being stuck in the tourist 'trap' areas. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped and the staff we so helpful throughout, a credit to the hotel. We particularly liked the hotel offering discount at the restaurant 'Benso' next door, the food there was so good and authentic.

Good location, just 5 mins walk to the colosseum. Bus stop right infront of hotel. Hotel is clean and shower has good water pressure. Beds are comfortable enough. House keeping is also good and regular.

Perfect time in this hotel. Location is great, close to each of the main points of Roma (Colloseum, Foro Romano, Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon, Piazza Navona). We reach all this places on foot and it wasn't exhausting. It is worth to point out that personnel is great all the people at the reception desk are incredible together with the "breakfast staff". Rooms are tidy up every day and the cleanness is on high level. Breakfast are simple but really tasty and fresh (coffee is also on high level). For sure I will stay in this hotel in the future.

The rooms were big and the beds comfortable. The shower was fantastic. It was the best feature after a long day walking in the hot August sun in Rome. Rooms were always kept clean. Staff at the main desk were always very helpful with our queries. Hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to the Colosseum and the centre of Rome. Plenty of restaurants and a small grocery are next door to the hotel making it easy for a quick snack and to buy daily necessities. Hotel is around 15 to 20 minutes by walk from Termini Station. Me and the family highly recommend it and would return there next time we return to Rome.

The ac could have been better placed in our room since it was directly about the bed making it too cold/too hot depending which side of the bed you slept on.

Staff are very helpful with arrival, calling taxis and providing us with a coupon for a nearby restaurant, which was quite nice. My room was on the 6th floor, with a little balcony and a view down the street. But it was also remarkably quiet at night. The windows are thick and although it's a main street, there aren't a lot of bars and restaurants in front of it. The room was a good size, and very clean. The bathroom was modern and large enough for my needs. The shower was great. I loved the location, many restaurants, bars and shops just around the corner. The main attraction is the Colosseum just a short walk away. The area is really nice to walk around, and we walked to almost everything we wanted to see.

Some travelers should be aware that this is an old building, and the elevator is very small - just 2 people, or 1 with luggage. But I never had to wait long.

We loved this hotel! It's perfectly located if it's your first time in Rome, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. Despite being on a busy street, the noise from the outside and neighboring rooms was minimal, so we were able to sleep very well. We tried the breakfast, and it was excellent. The staff is incredibly friendly and speaks multiple languages. They even provided us with recommendations and tips, and helped us arrange a taxi. We would definitely choose this hotel again.

We arrived at the Hotel early on our first day (due to our overnight flight) and we were welcomed and accommodated for early checkin so we were relived to be able to quickly unpack, freshen up and start our day of touring Rome. Our room was perfect and the size exceeded our expectations - it was so clean and our bathroom was new renovated with marble and a gorgeous new shower. Our bed was the most comfortable hotel bed we have every enjoyed (and we travel extensively).We had a beautiful view from our balcony (looking towards the Colosseum) and it was so quiet in the evenings so sleeping was perfect. The staff were friendly and accommodating and happy to assist with any requests - especially with taxis which is not easy in Rome. The manager (Mirella) and her team make you feel like you are staying with family. There is also a little cafe area in the lobby which was so inviting and we enjoyed coffee/drinks while coming and going. The hotel is a 5 min walk to the Colosseum and just down the street (20 mins) from Termini train station (we easily walked there with our luggage on our departure day). There are also some great little restuarants on the same street as the hotel. We walked back to the hotel very late from dinner one evening (met several other tourists) and we felt very safe. We highly recommend the hotel and have no negative comments at all. We loved it and it was a wonderful start to our vacation. Thank you Hotel Centro Cavour!

I had a single room on the 6th floor which was small but just fine for my two-night stay in Rome in October 2023. Don't panic if they give you a room on an upper floor--there is an elevator. The lovely and friendly Antonella kindly stored my luggage and allowed me to use the facilities when I arrived ahead of check-in. I didn't catch the name of the young woman who was at the desk in the evening, but she was also very kind and handed me a card for the restaurant Benso (a few doors down) where as a guest of Centro Cavour I received a one-time 20% discount on my bill (I had a lovely dinner there both nights I was in town). Gian was another charming and helpful staffer (I hope I spelled his name right!). I required a taxi to Galleria Borghese on my first morning in Rome, and to FCO airport the next morning: the staff took care of securing these rides for me, which was such a relief. Really, I can't say enough about how warm and genuine the staff was.

Hotel is an easy walk to the Colleseum and Cavour metro stop. The location to the main train station Termini is a walk of about 15 mins. There are quite a few attractions you can walk to from hotel in a short amount of time. Google Maps/directions work really well in helping with the navigation. ALL of the staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful. All understood English and spoke better English than I did Italian. Room had been recently updated and was exceptional. It had a small balcony even. Bathroom had a shower with multiple showerheads+ a hand held wand. Minifridge came with 2 bottles of water that were restocked as needed included in room rate. Many resturants really close by.

All was excellent.
