Location was superb. We were 10 minutes from the Colosseum/Forum. We also could easily walk to other sites such as Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps. The hotel actually overlooks some of the ruins which is really cool. Breakfast was amazing and huge variety. Our bedroom space was fine, the bathroom very small. However, the shower even though small very strong water pressure. The roof top bar was nice feature. Prices of drinks up there expensive, however, the view and 3 little snack bowls (peanuts etc) nice treats. Other huge feature was a small convenience mkt right out the front door. We were able to grab our diet cokes, beers, water for super cheap. Nice that hotel room had small refrigerator.

Just the size our our bathroom (but we picked a smaller room for ourselves).

Excellent location. Stunning roof-top breakfast room with wide choice of buffet breakfast options and amazing views. Roof top bar with amazing views (when not being used for a private function!)

I was expecting a larger room based on the price and advertised square footage, but much of this was taken up with a large wardrobe area that led on to the bathroom. This was adjacent, but separate to the bedroom and effectively, unusable space. The bedroom itself was therefore smaller than expected for the price paid and rating of the room, with no comfortable seating area. The advertised pictures of the rooftop area show it as an open-air, outdoor space, which was one of the attractions when booking. This was not the case - it was a covered rooftop bar that was closed for a private function on two nights of my four night stay. The lack of expected, relaxing outdoor space was a disappointment.

Incredible location and amazing view from restaurant. The property was charming and authentic. The staff were very friendly and nothing was ever too much. Room was clean. I celebrated my 40th birthday and the staff did some special touches to make the occasion memorable. Would highly recommend.

Our double bed was two mattresses pushed together (although the matress was very very comfortable ) and the cocktails in the American bar were beyond expensive, which you also had to make a reservation for, you couldn’t just turn up which is a shame not to have access to a bar during a hotel stay.

Fantastic location in a great neighborhood with amazing views of the Forum. the rooftop bar is a must. wonderful old world charm which we prefer. Bed was SUPER comfy. Big Room and good shower. The staff was so so very nice and kind to us, everyone of them. Please know that the plugs are old and don’t ask for an “adapter” for your electrical devices ask for a CONVERTER. I learned this the hard way when one of my devices blew out from the 220 surge. The staff were super sweet and gave some credit on the bill. thanks again for your kindness. We loved the stay. Also know this hotel is in a very busy area and you can easily hear the street entertainers music from the Forum and the windows in the hotel did a great job of cutting that noise out when we closed them.

Wi-Fi was spotty at times

The location for Rome is out of this world. Just over a 20 minute walk from the train station to begin your visit then minutes from the Colusseum & literally on the Forum. The rooftop breakfast is the perfect way to start the day! Personally I found the room very comfortable & the staff all very friendly.

Something that maybe just can’t be helped but the wi-fi was really quite patchy in the rooms. Not the end of the world but a bit annoying for when you get in. If I was booking again, as much as the setting for breakfast was fantastic & the coffee was really exceptional, I found it a little bit expensive for what you get. Also, the rooftop bar aeperol spritz being €20 was quite steep!!

Very comfortable room with a view of the Forum. Central to everything I wanted to see. Great restaurants nearby as well.

I stayed on the 4th floor and I could hear the floor above (the rooftop bar I think), chairs and footsteps etc. After a day of exploring, it wasn't enough to stop me from getting to sleep.

Location is fantastic, right in the heart of the Forum/Coloseum and direct walking distance to all the big sites. Hotel was nicely and uniquely decorated, very clean and safe at night. Room and Bed were nice and comfortable, got good night's sleep during our stay. While the area is noisy, the windows let very little noise in so no disturbances! Views from the restaurant and bar were lovely and the waiters/bartenders were very friendly.

While the views were great, breakfast in the morning was a fairly simple affair but at a high price. The bar was quite expensive as well, 7-8 euro for bottle of beer and 20 euro roughly for cocktails. Dublin prices! Facilities in the room could have been bit better, small TV and no iron for a crisp shirt in the evening. The rooms are small but given that it is an old building, this should be expected. It's an expensive hotel but you are paying a premium for location.

Location fantastic Rooftop bar great - but all tables reserved - maybe remind people to reserve! Unusual for a bar.

Bedding - 2 white sheets needed around duvet!! I always remove the top bedcover in a hotel, but in this one there was then no sheet over the duvet (also probably not cleaned between guests!)

It's 5 meters from Rome Forum, hence the name! It's walkable to all major attractions of Rome. 3 minutes to Colosseum. 10 minutes to Trevi Fountain. It's close to Metro but no need. I even walked to St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican and walked back. It took 40 minutes but you got to enjoy everything along the way. The room is compact but has everything you need. It even has a folding desk that's more comfortable than the desks of some bigger rooms I stayed in the past. Sparklingly clean. Bed was comfortable. The double layered wooden windows can keep the room as light-proof as you like for a good night's sleep. Very happy with my 5-night stay here!

Location doesn't get much better and the roof deck bar not only has a fabulous view but a really nice vibe. We will stay again when in Rome.

Everything was really nice. My only suggestion for improvement would be to let guests know in advance that if they need to park that the zone in which the hotel is located doesn't allow people to enter until 6 p.m. so you could actually get stuck with no place to park from 2-6 if you plan on coming at check in time of 2.
