Working AC in Rome and a quiet, comfortable room. Loved the free breakfast - great way to save time and $. The reception folks were very nice and it was great to have an elevator to get you up the stairs after a long day. Walking distance to two metro stops and a delicious and affordable restaurant down the street. I liked that we left the key with reception- we never had to worry about it. I also liked that we had two twin beds. We were a mother/daughter team so it was nice not to fight about covers and leg-stretching.

Our TV didn't work but we were so tired from walking that we didn't tell the front desk. Same goes for the fridge - it was not very cold and it made a noise at night so we unplugged it to sleep. Again, we didn't tell the front desk so we can't fault them for not addressing it. Room tip: the breakfast is on the first floor so if you are light sleepers and don't want to wake up early, you might want a different floor. We were always out early so it didn't bother us.

The very helpful staff and the spacious and airy bed room. We had a balcony which allowed us to keep the French doors open when we were at the hotel during the day. The room was cleaned daily and we were given fresh linen hand towels. There was a reasonably sized fridge in the room. We could buy a coffee in the lobby for a euro and soft drinks were also available. We could leave the key at reception each time we went out because there was someone on reception 24 hours a day. The hotel was close to Termini Railway station which made it very easy to get to and from Fuimicino Airport. There was an even closer metro station next door to a small but well-stocked supermarket. There was a great coffee machine in the breakfast room. The controls for the heading and air-conditioning were easy to use.

Other guests were quite noisy at times. The breakfast buffet was a bit similar each day although there was always a good selection of pastries. It wasn't immediately obvious where the entrance to the hotel was. We had to ask and then retrace our steps to find it.

It was a 12 minute walk from Rome Termini station. It was just the right size of room for a couple want to spend a few nights in Rome. 30 minute walk to Trevi and other venues. The staff weee awesome. Very attentive and accommodating. We arrived the day before our check-in to drop off some extra large luggage which they happily stored for us. This is one of the few places in Rome that has secure indoor parking for $35Euro per day… a deal in Rome.

I have nothing that I did not like

Breakfast was baked breads with options for ham, cheese, yogurt, jams, coffee and juice. The location is only a few blocks from the train station, about 8 minutes walking. Overall, the rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and took care of us. There are many great restaurants nearby, and a CONAD market just around the corner.

The main entrance to the hotel is down a driveway off the main street, and can be difficult to find unless you know exactly where it is. In the room some wallpaper was coming undone, the radiator was on high with no adjustment knob, and half of the shower door had been replaced by a curtain.

the room is clean, the bed is comfortable the price corresponds to the services provided

in the morning at breakfast, the table was full of used dishes, there was nowhere to sit behind the bar, one employee made coffee for people, didn't clean the dishes from the tables, didn't take care of the food I don't understand why, when there is an automatic coffee machine in the hotel dining room, the employee makes the coffee personally First I asked for the table to be cleaned and then for the food to be refilled, there was hardly any

My college friends and I stayed here because of the affordability and the location, however this hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff were extremely friendly, and they accommodated my request of 3 twin beds in our room without any hesitation. The room was cleaned every day and in general the hotel was exceptionally clean. The staff let us leave our luggage in their storage room after we checked out which was extremely helpful. Also, our train did not leave until 8pm, and one of the staff let us stay in a room on the second floor for free for a couple of hours. Hotel Galileo was a much better option than a youth hostel and for exactly the same price. Could not have had a better experience with the wonderful staff. I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to rome. The location is about a 5 minute walk to a metro line and about a 10 minute walk from the Termini train station, very very convenient.

I would stay here again when visiting Rome. The hotel is in a good location, 5 minute walk to Termini station. It is situated in a quiet street so there was no noise at night. Most big attractions are within walking distance and I felt it was totally safe when walking around. The room was a bit small but as I was travelling alone it was perfect for me. It was very clean including the bathroom with fresh towels provided everyday. There was no bottled water provided in the room but you can buy it in the lobby or one of the nearby supermarkets. Not many english speaking channels working on the TV if you are bothered about that. The staff at this hotel are excellent, friendly and very helpful if you have any questions. I enjoyed the breakfast here, nice coffee machine fresh fruit juices.

Excellent location, nearby Termini train station, quite area. Friendly and polite staff. A room was very good, comform, room is cleaned every day. Enough towels. If I come again to Rome, I will come again in Hotel Galileo. Price is acceptable. I recommend this Hotel. Saluti da Serbia.

I suggest better breakfast. Everyday was a same food.

The room had new furniture and the mattress was.comfortable. I liked that I was able to eat in the morning boiled eggs, cheese, ham, not just coffee and pastries like most Italian breakfasts. Not a lot of variety with the hams/cheese, but we managed. The staff was very kind and I dropped my card when I paid for the city tax and they called me and I was able to come back for it. Walking distance 5 min from Termini train station was great and 30 min from Colosseum and most attractions.

I wish the terrace would have been nicer, maybe put some vegetation on it, it was not very inviting to stay on the terrace.

I loved that this room for 4 adults had two bathrooms! So helpful. I also loved the 24 hr reception, so reassuring when getting in late, Walking distance from Termini, good trattorias nearby. Love an included breakfast!

The pillows were a little flat and hard. No tea-making facilities in room.
