We absolutely loved Hotel Lirico! The staff were very welcoming and breakfast was everything we could ask for (meat, cheese, pastries, cakes, and yogurt). We really enjoyed our room, and appreciated the elevator, air conditioning (which we could control), and key card access to rooms. The hotel is located very close to all of the major Rome sites, but the area around the hotel was very quiet and had amazing restaurants (some just steps away from the hotel). We also appreciated that the room was very clean and that they were able to accommodate our early check-in after 20+ hours of traveling. We felt so spoiled and welcomed here, especially compared to other hotels we had visited. Highly recommend!!

It was in the centre and we almost didnot need transport. Although the room was small, it was well equipped and everything worked. The bathroom was quite small but there was no problem with water drainage, as it usually happens in many hotels. The room was quite clean, didnot even expect that much for 3star hotel.

The beds were not comfortable, but its ok for a short stay. The room was a bit too dark.

Location. Not too far from Roma Termini nor Trevi and other spots for me. Easy to find. Pleasant staff. Bathroom looks updated, bright lights, clean, and enough shower space to step in. Check-in and check-out was smooth and easy. It was a quiet room and had a nice view. Was able to rest and sleep well after a day of exploring.

There was no lift, but that didn’t impact my experience too much.

Decent hotel near the opera house in Rome. Considered in the "city center." A lot of restaurants and shopping very close by so location was good. Room was a bit cramped for 3 guests with 3 large and 3 small suitcases and bathroom was very small for a triple room. No meal option so I can't attest to the food. A bit expensive (about $250 a night for a triple) but probably considered inexpensive by Rome standards. I would recommend this place because of its location, close to everything.

a little outdated, would have loved the bathroom to be a bit larger, but by European standards, bathrooms are small...just a little tight for 3 women getting ready at the same time! About 40 stairs up to reception area...difficult with luggage

Location is excellent. 10 min walk from the main train station (Roma Termini) and 1 block from Via Nationale (the main street). It is right beside the opera house. Near restaurants, bars,and shopping. The hotel is spotlessley clean, bed was comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Good AC.

Long staircase from the street to the front desk, ut staff will gladly carry bags up for you.The room. was small with only a 3 piece bathroom, but the location, staff, and comfort make it good value. Be wary of pickpockets at the train station (inside the train cars while boarding when it's crowded.

We walked everywhere we wanted to go. Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, the Zoo (a very nice zoo) even the Vatican. There were many restaurants nearby. We enjoyed Pepi Maurillo for the authentic home-made feel, and Caffe Washington for the value when we needed a quick "American" meal. Being so close Roma Termini meant that side trips were easy. The staff was friendly, helpful, understandable, and in specific helped us out with a critical issue (we caused). We are very happy with them.

I was stuck in the (tiny) elevator for a tense 25-ish minutes. Hopefully this has been resolved? Yes there are lots of steps, but the staff is more than willing to help.

Very easy walk from the train station, nice safe neighborhood with an excellent restaurant next door. The staff were so friendly and helpful. There is a flight of stairs to get to the lobby, but the staff are very happy to help with bags.

The room was very small, which I knew going in. I was still a bit surprised by how tight the bathroom was. The toilet and shower stall are VERY close together (at least this was the set up in our room). I am a bit of a larger person with wider hips and was squished using the toilet. Just something to be aware of.

The staff at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. Without any prompting the man (regrettably I didn’t get his name) who checked me in gave directions on how to get to the different attractions via the underground or walking. Was also helpful with recommendations for restaurants. The location was another plus - it's close to the train station, the metro, lots of restaurants and relatively close to the main attractions. Breakfast was buffet style for €8. Room was thoroughly cleaned each day.

The pillows were too soft.

Location was very convenient. Right next to opera house and in good neighborhood with restaurants, metro and bus stops very close by. Facility was very clean. I love the high ceilings.

The front lobby was a flight of stairs from the front door by the road. We were okay and fortunately the front staff was great with bringing luggage up to front desk for us. But would definitely be a problem for someone with disabilities. They had a small lift from front lobby to the other floors; but did not have any access from road to lobby. The bathroom shower was also a little small.

The hotel's location is perfect, a few minutes walk from Roma Termini (so we didn't need an expensive taxi) and very close to a metro station and busses. The staff was very helpful and available, each of them was kind and welcoming. The beds are wide and quite firm, but very comfy. The second room we stayed in was great and even had a charging hub.

The first room we stayed in had steps at the entrance and at the bathroom The minibar was super tiny, but we didn't need it anyway. There are extra blankets but no extra sheets. (They told us they didn't have any extra sheets when we tried to inquire). The hotel is not accessible and has stairs leading up to it and in it (not a problem for us, but might be an issue for others)
