Breakfast was fantastic. A lot of choice for us. Metro close to Hotel

The hotel was a great location for using metro into Rome. There was nothing I didn't like about hotel. Just a suggestion: if the Hotel could give trains- Metro-bus number from each airport, It would have being a super help to us. It was our first time in Rome. But we managed and it was a fantastic experience. 💗

The hotel is well-located near the historic centre of Rome, with the closest metro station only a 3 minute walk away. The breakfast buffet has a good variety of options, including eggs, as well as different types of bread, cheese, fruits, and yogurt. Our hotel room was clean and had a balcony. The surrounding area is inhabited mostly by locals rather than tourists, but almost all nearby shops, restaurants, and cafés have staff that understand basic English. The staff at the reception are very helpful and provided some good tips upon our arrival for transportation options across the city to see tourist sites.

For the price, in Rome, the hotel provides good accommodations and service. You will be charged for bottled water (2 euros a bottle). The shower did not have a screen door or curtain.

A solid 10. This hotel was one of the reasons we liked Rome this much. We got there 20-30 minutes ahead of time, the room was already prepared and we checked in very fast. Everything is exceptional - comfy bed with two pillows of different softness, 3 towels per person + floor towel; well-kept and functional furniture, mini fridge, blackout curtains and comfortable bathroom. The room is cleaned daily, looks perfect and smells really nice every time. Hotel itself is located in a 2-minute walk from Re Di Roma square and metro station (3 stops away from Termini) - many shops and restaurants were in a walking distance. Checkout is at 11 am, but you can leave your bags at the reception and spend time in the lounge until you depart to the airport. Special thanks to Iryna!!!! She was at the reception where we arrived, patiently familiarised us with everything we should know about hotel and Rome, gave us a map with a few places to eat nearby - it was a heartwarming surprise that she is Ukrainian, we had nice small talks from time to time.

1-2 times Wi-Fi was a little slow, but it didn't affect us at all.

Well, firstly the Re Di Roma Hotel staff were exceptionally helpful. There hospitality was at the forefront. After we took our share of pickpockets in Rome (be alert at all times), the hotel staff was so helpful in giving us morale and also helping us receive our belongings (excluding the cash) after they were found on the ground by a civilian. As for the breakfast, it was spectacular for a 3 star hotel. I had read the comments prior our stay and I hadn't believed it at first. However, the breakfast at Re Di Roma hotel exceeds its expectations. A great small dinning area, with wonderul croissants, cereal, coffee, bread, juice, scrambled and boiled eggs etc. Seriously, what else can you ask for? The location was just so convenient! 2 min walk to Re Di Roma metro station. From there you can easily go to the main tourist sites. Warning ⚠️: Keep your belongings out of sight and try not to take cash! ⚠️ If someone asks you a question, it's just a diversion! Hats off to Hotel Re Di Roma! 🎩 Many thanks ❗😊

The staff was absolutely amazing during our stay. They upgraded us for free. Took our room keys when we left so we would not lose them. Had drinks available all hours for us to buy and just added them on the end of our bill. It was fantastic. The beds were comfortable, and the location was great. Not in the city center but just steps away from a subway/metro station, so getting to everywhere we needed was easy. The gelato shop around the corner is amazing and sells fresh juice. The owner was so sweet, and the gelato was creamy. The pub around the corner had the best chicken wrap i have ever tasted. The maids do not speak english but try and were so nice. The breakfast had meats, cheeses, yogurts, cereal, toast, and fruit along with pastrys and was filling and a great start to the day. My partner loved the coffee machine and was obsessed with the expresso. The staff was so sweet, but Lynn at the front desk really made my day. She was the first face we saw every morning and always greeted us with such a sweet smile. She was fantastic and deserves a raise :)

There are no physical blankets on the bed. It's just a top cover and sheet. However, in the wardrobe are some heavier wool blankets. The people above us always sounded like they were arranging furniture, but it was fine. We are from a super busy city and live in an apartment, so it was easy to block out. I suggest ear plugs if noise bothers you as ambulance noises are constant here in Rome. There is no shower curtain or bath mats in the tub to stop you from flipping and i felt like i had to physically crawl in and out of the tub as it was very high so you do need to be super careful getting in and out, but it worked and over all wasn't the end of the world.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, bathroom was big, with good water pressure in the shower. Very close to the metro. The curtains were great and they blocked the sun very well.

The walls are thin. And I mean THIN. We could hear our neighbours quite well. We did not have a shower curtain so if we didn’t stay in a certain position, a lot of water would get to the floor. The breakfast was quite limited (except for the pastries) and the same everyday. I felt like the rooms need some updating. Some light paint on the walls and furniture, because the place is quite dark.

Best breakfast I've ever had in Italy! Buffet with eggs, cold cuts, veggies, fruit, sweets, toasting facilities etc. Very, very clean. Nice staff with excellent English skills (spoken and written). Small fridge for snacks and drinks in the room + safe big enough for a laptop. Located outside the tourist areas = there are local restaurants and great supermarkets available. Re di Roma is still well connected with 5 minutes walk to the metro (A-line, a few stops to Piazza, Spagna, Termini or the Vatican) and many local buses. The hotel bar was affordable—great AC in the rooms, lobby, bar and common room. The area is quiet (no noise from traffic), but if you are out late, there is a kebab/pizza shop where you can pick up food in a nearby street. The hotel has 24-hour reception.

The wifi on the 4th floor could have been stronger and tea/coffee facilities in the room would have made the hotel even better.

The location was great. Just a few minutes walk to the metro making it easy to get into the city centre. Two great restaurants were just around the corner that were recommended by the hotel staff as well as a McDonald’s restaurant 10 minutes walk from the hotel for picky eaters. The area around the hotel isn’t touristy so it is fairly quiet, but there are plenty of eateries and some shops since it is residential. The continental breakfast was better than expected with scrambled eggs and bacon on offer. We were in a family room and 3 out of the 4 beds were very comfortable. The fourth bed, which was a makeshift bed, not so much.

The fourth bed, put up I believe when there are four people in the room, was way too hard for my son. Also the WI-FI was pretty hit or miss depending on your location in the hotel. The hotel lobby and lounge had WI-FI so my teenage kids went there to be online as there wasn’t any Wi-Fi in our room. The hotel spent the 5 days we were there trying to fix it, but for our visit some rooms seemed to have Wi-Fi and others didn’t. Since we were out much of the time, this wasn’t a big issue for us, but might be for other families.

The hotel is one of the best I stayed so far, no wonder it’s almost always fully booked! The staff were absolutely amazing, always there to help, even got directions to the hotel before arrival without asking for them! Always, always smiling, can’t thank them enough for making our stay so pleasant! Everything was spotless, so clean, and the water pressure very good, nearly knocked me down the first time I turned it on 😄 Oh, and the location couldn’t be any better, the subway station about 2 mins away, and even a night bus line for when the subway was closed (could have walked back to the hotel from the town centre, but our feet couldn’t take any more walking in Rome 🤭)! This will be our go to hotel in Rome from now on, just hoping we’ll find availability! Oh, oh and nearly forgot: the breakfast at the hotel was really good, but across the street there is a bar where they serve some amazing croissants filled with a delicious vanilla cream!

Everything was excellent, really! Just a bit confused of the city tax as on Booking.com it said it was included in the rate, and it wasn’t, but maybe I missed some fine print when I booked it and it wasn’t a big deal anyway.

The location is excellent near the metro. The staff are incredibly present, helpful and friendly. The breakfast selection is really good and the rooms were very comfortable with effective aircon, massive beds and good bathrooms. Having the little bar and chill space downstairs was good too.

I didn't like having to leave Italy! I wish i could live there! The wifi was a little patchy but actually that was good for us as a family as it kept the kids off their devices!
