The hotel is located at walking distance from the Termini train station, which made it convenient upon arrival. In addition, it is located two blocks from the metro station, making it easy and convenient to get to other parts of Rome. Breakfast is continental: simple and effective, and served in the bedroom at the time of the guest's choice, during serving hours. The staff could not be nicer and more obsequious and did an outstanding job at communicating with us. The rooms were clean, bright, airy, and spacious as were the bathrooms. As an added bonus, the staff was able to book us transport to the airport, with a known and trusted driver. All in all, this was the perfect vacation stay in Rome.

The mattress in the beds in our room were sagging, an indication they might need to be replaced or a better mattress brand considered as replacement. This however, represented no compromise on the overall quality of the stay and our experience at Locanda al Viminale.

We loved how bright and big the room was and how easy it was to access! The balcony looks on to the Piazza del Viminale which is quiet and lovely at all hours of the day. The staff speak perfect English and are SUPER helpful with whatever you may need. The breakfast to our room was also the most wonderful way to start our day. It was also super helpful that the building has a lift. The area was quiet but in a great position to get buses to any sites we wanted to go and very close to Roma Termini. We recommend L’Angolo di Napoli for pizza and Il Capriccio di Carla Gelateria Artigianale for dessert!

Immersed in Rome's captivating energy and warmth, my stay was a charming encounter with the city's soul, echoed by the exceptional hospitality of Erika and Georgia. They were not only amazing in their roles but also incredibly warm and personable. Their ever-present smiles and supportive nature truly stood out. The hotel's location (in 10 mins walk from Trevi Fountain) and cleanliness were impeccable, enhancing the overall comfort of my stay. Also, a good supermarket is very close (Tigre) in case if something needed to buy. What impressed me most was the proactive communication from Erika and Georgia. They reached out in advance and were always quick to respond to any queries or concerns I had, ensuring a worry-free and delightful experience.

The Wi-Fi connectivity was somewhat challenging, particularly as I needed a reliable connection for urgent work meetings. I resorted to using my phone's hotspot, which was manageable but not ideal. Also, having a kettle in the room to make tea after a day of exploring would be a lovely addition, offering a bit more comfort in the evenings.

The location of Locanda al Viminale is excellent for visiting Rome. The hotel is close to the train station, attractions are within a 30-minute walk, and there are non-tourist-focused eateries nearby. The room was big and spacious. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast in the room was a new experience and I really liked it. The neighborhood is quiet and clean.

Georgia was amazing. Our trio was delayed due to a fire on our plane and Georgia went out of her way to arrange a limo from the airport. She also was able to change out tickets for the Sistine Chapel to the following day as we were not able to go due to our plane trip being delayed by one day! She was amazing! We were so appreciative of her help!

The staff was very nice, they managed to check us in around 10 am which was fantastic. They offered us coffee while we waited for the room. It was amazing location very nice and clean. Even had nice shower amenities which I wouldn’t expect at this price/level. Positively surprised.

Only thing was the mattress in our room seemed to have a bit of a dent, so my friend slept in a bit of a hole. Also you could really hear what is going on in the hallway if you’re extra sensitive to noise. We didnt mind at all so we did enjoy our stay.

Great location, can walk everywhere. At first the entrance arrangements seemed odd but very quirky and felt extremely secure. Lovely reception staff. Helpful and welcoming. Taxi arranged for us for late arrival at airport. Basic breakfast included in price was welcome. Comfortable beds, handy safe in room. Good bathroom - shower powerful and hot!

We were asked to pay a late check-in (as shown in booking.com page) fee but acceptable given the size of hotel.

Communication before & during our stay was great. Giorgia was lovely to deal with and helpful. All staff friendly, even provided Gluten free breakfast for us. Location was great, easy walking distance to most attractions (15-20mins). Great restaurant next door that catered Gluten free for us too! Would stay again!

No laundry facilities but laundry mat across the road.

Amazing location just 5 minutes from metro A (station Republicca). Colosseum is just 15 minutes walk, so is the Trevi fountain. Great value for money. There was a sweet breakfast delivered directly to our room, and the croissants were really good! The staff was very kind. There are many restaurants in the area.

We went in winter, and had a little problem with our heating (we didn't know how to turn it on and it was too cold in the room), but the staff helped us and we solved it! Then it was nice and warm. :) There was a bit of noise from the street, so be sure to bring your earplugs. It's a pity that the breakfast is the same every morning, but it didn't really matter to us, because we were there only for two nights.

Great place with a great view, clean, cozy. Everything was perfect. It is in very safe neighborhood and it is close to every attraction in Rome. We didn't use transportation through town. My full recommendation for this place. We won't stay anywhere else but here, next time we are in Rome. ❤️
